Ninde, I think your results are typical for our age group. We can't expect many follies. And the fact that they are responding and growing is a good thing. You may not have many, but shorter exposure to meds is better for egg quality. It sounds like your ER should be coming up soon.

Jaine - welcome back my SoCal buddy! Good luck on this cycle!

Maria: I remember when you set up the board, I had been on the previous one with you and wasnt' sure how I would feel moving to a new one but it has been full of hope and support and laughter so thank you so much. I'm not sure quite what size my follices were this time last cycle - I left my notes at home. But I think they were larger on my next check - thats when it wasnt' going well in that I had 2 ginormous ones and smaller ones then which they wern't happy with. They seem happy that all 5 are around the same size but I'm concerned that they are too big. I'm wondering when they call will they suggest reducing the menopur? I don't really know much about this stuff but Im not sure if they may trigger me too early - or even what too early is? I didn't see the RE - just three nurses (because they couldn't find my left ovary - took them 30 mins and three nurses - ouch and I was already sore!). One seemed concerned and told me to drink lots, another was a bit wishy washy but didn't think we would cancel the cycle and the third was more reassuring saying they are growing at the same rate which she preferred. So I'm totally confused and a bit worried to be honest

Lyd: Thanks - I don't mind the follice amount so much (although I would have liked maybe 8?) but I'm concerned about the size - I know I didn't want to stimm too long because over-exposure at our age is bad but could I have had too few stimms? I think when they ring they will tell me to come in for another check on Thursday which would mean 8 days of stimms. And how are you doing now that you are so close?

blueeye- stay hopeful, I know its discouraging not to have to many embies let but everything could work out this cycle and that one remaining can be the sibling :) It only takes one good one :)

Christy- No one has talked about food with me I just research everything, I am a google queen :) There is alot of dont's but I am just making sure I am eating what is good for me and the baby and eating all the food groups I also found a webpage with a daily menu so I am going to go off that alittle too :) Keep your chin up something will come up for DH there is a Job out there for him, I will be praying time flys for you and November will be here before you know it ;)

Ninde- I wouldnt worry to much on only 5 being at 14 you still have at least 4 days of stims and the others can catch up... I remember mine catching up in the end and I ended up with over 20, I remember feeling discouraging and then I went back a couple days later and there were more... Ill be doing the follie dance for you :) Did the RE say why your tummy is already bloating?

wehavehope- Thank you for resharing your first post, it is amazing where you were to where you are... I have been on these boards for 3 years and it has been a great help for encouragement strength and new friendships... I am glad I found this board and have had so much of each of your help through all my BFN... This is the hardest journey I have been on I cant wait to hold my baby in my arms so that I can come to realization that it can happen... Watching all the women go through there pregnancy has given me a hope that I wouldnt have had if I wasnt here with you all... Good Luck I am sure this will be the week you are holding your princess's :)

Quick Update:

Another dr appintment yesterday. Heartbeat sounded good at 134 beats per minute. Im guessing that is normal for 20 weeks. The doctor did not do an ultra sound this time but I have the level 2 US this Thursday so we should get to see alot fo the baby. So far so good :) Just trying to take it a day at a time and pray that things keep going well.

Kynlee- So true, dh told me last night that he has eleven job applications to fill out this week, most are high school job openings but at least they are in the state of Florida. I laughed and said well maybe he'll get that job in Pensacola so we'll be that much closer in driving distance to our clinic. In the meantime I'm stepping out to get our mortgage loan taken care of this afternoon and maybe a new haircut. Tomorrow is your BIG day!

Hopethisworks- I'll pray with you that things keep going well girl, that is one strong heartbeat!

Maria- I remember your journey so well when all that happened you thought about going back to school and placing all the fertility stuff on hold to take a break. I know it was a difficult time but look how you stayed determined and how all your perservance paid off. This journey has kicked my butt and at times I feel like throwing in the towel but I then read others beautiful birth stories and know it certainly wouldn't help me to give up now, we've come too far in this journey to give up now.

Lyd10- It's nice to see you checking in. :D

I guess after this month the board will be changing, but I'll be joining you ladies sometime late fall for my second round of IVF and knowing I'll see some familar "faces" makes me smile. :D

Ok this is definately TMI but I have to get someone's perspective on this...Today is day2 with my menstrual cycle and I have bleed heavily, more blood then normal...Let's start with day1: I had on tampon with backup pad and within 3 hours the pad was soaked (thankfully I had on a pad with the tampon) but the rest of the day I wore pads and didn't think much about it. Today before lunch I had on pad#3 and I was OFF from work thankfully and I was home filling out mortgage paperwork when I felt a gush of blood and went to the bathroom and it was so much that went through the pad, my panties and got to my jeans that had to change bluejeans. So I changed everything before I left the house and when I got to the bank to drop off paperwork I felt another gush of blood and I went to the bathroom and there was a large amount of gross dark blood tissue on top of the pad but it was very unusual and frightened me a little but all I could do was change into another pad. What are your thoughts? I have been sick with a cold but this doesn't sound normal does it? I never bleed like this on a period so I called my clinic this afternoon. But what if anything can they determine from this, what are your thoughts? Again sorry that this was TMI!

Sunshine- that has happened to me a couple of times, but only after I started ivf treatments. I never had it like that before. I think that the stress that you have been dealing with is making your hormones crazy and that is why it is happening. The tisdue stuff is just your lining.

MadamX- how exciting! How many did you transfer, i forgot.

Dys- yeah on beta #2...that is awesome!!!!

Thanks LauraN for responding...maybe so but it was a whole lot of blood this cycle that I'm offically anemic. I would be passing out if they needed vials of blood from me this cycle. Dh purchased me some protein shakes hopefully that will get me in better shape. x
