Tiger - Definitely snack!! If I get too hungry or too full, it's over. If i had to guess I would guess you've got one bean, but you never know!! I've seen betas lower than yours with two. My first beta was 474, but that seems even high for my twins.

Leora - I cant believe how quickly I feel it's going for you! Cerclage and bedrest talk already?! Isn't that in like months??

Kyn - I so definitely wouldn't worry about vinegar. Just follow the basic guidelines and STOP STRESSING OUT!!

AFM - Had my OB appt. today. Everybody's good! They're both currently head down and facing each other. I'm feeling a bit better and only puking once/day or so..especially when I gag on my toothbrush or floss. Speaking of, I have 2 more cavities. That makes 5 in the past year. I know they say hormones can do this, but OMG. Not ok. We're also in the middle of buying a house and securing loans, etc. FREAKING OUT and OVERWHELMED, dude. I need a vaca and have zero time because I have like 5 weddings. One of my closest friends is getting married and has turned into the devil. I can't deal. BIG ULTRASOUND on Thursday!!! Can't wait to see my children! We've named them!! Olivia (Liv) and Levi. Love them too much already.

Hi Ladies,

I posted this on the other board as well, but wanted to give all of you the u/s update!

Thank you to everyone that wished me luck today. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all of the support. It means the world to me! We had one perfect little baby measuring at 7w1day on the U/S! I was very very happy! HB is 130…thinking that could mean boy? Then, there was a second sac, that was not doing well and did not have a HB, so the second embryo did implant, measured at 5w6days, but then stopped growing. I’m so so very excited to have one perfect baby, but must admit that I’m grieving the loss of the second one. I feel like I should be only grateful, but it makes me sad that the second one tried to make it and didn’t succeed. I feel like each step of the way, there’s always a new challenge. Now, I’m so nervous for the one baby that we do have…what if that one stops! What happened to the other one? I just feel a little lost and confused. I know that so many of you have been through tough situations, so I’m looking for clarity. Anyone else go through this? Should I be even more nervous now? It’s hard to be excited for this now and I feel even further away from success…very confused.

Tiger - I'm so sorry for your loss, but so happy for your surviving bean!! Don't be nervous! I think if anything the other didn't survive so this one could. You're on your way to having your family. There have been several ladies on here in the same position and all of them have gone on to have beautiful singletons.

Tiger - at my first u/s at 6 weeks we had 2 gestational sacs, both with yolk sacs. At our second u/s at 6w6d, we had one heartbeat and the other sac had not changed at all. It was sad seeing that 2nd sac on u/s for the next few times until my body reabsorbed it. And I remember feeling some worry that something would happen to the one that was progressing, but as each u/s showed things were OK, I stopped worrying and really felt like maybe it happened so we could go on to have one very healthy baby. And that's exactly what happened. It's normal to feel confused and sad over the loss so let yourself feel that. I'm sure you'll feel better when you see your thriving little one again and I'm so happy that s/he is doing great!

Tiger - losing one or more of a set of multiples at any stage is hard. Try look at http://www.climb-support.org/ for support. I'm sorry you lost a twin, but super SUPER excited the other baby is doing well! :D :D :D :D

Lauren - I can't believe you are moving along so fast! I love the names! I have the problem that there are LOTS of girl's names I like, but not so many boy's names. When we were told we were having two boys last time, we had a hard time coming up with names (I'll explain the ones we used if you'd like). If this another boy, he might just be known as "Baby Boy E" for his whole life :D (Obviously, I'll be thrilled which ever sex we get, but a boy might be nameless!)

Kynlee - hurray! That is such a great sign. Every good scan is a step closer to having that baby in your arms!

AFM - u/s tomorrow at exactly 10 weeks. I hope it'll be good! Plan for today is to finish this hectic work day, get a massage, and then go to sleep. U/S is at 8:30am my time (1:30am EST), but I'm going out for brunch with a friend visiting from the USA afterwards, so no update until later, ok?

U/S went so well! Babies are the size of avocados and weigh about 1/2 lb. each! They were resting their heads on each other and Levi was sucking his thumb (or trying to). OMG. I just want to hug them.

Hi girls

Leora I just wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow. I am so glad you have an ob you like and I pray every day that this pregnancy will result in a take home baby for you honey

Lauren 319 so glad your twins are doing well and oh I love the name Olivia. You and I are only 4 weeks apart so we may be having our babies close together. I love the image of them resting their heads on each other...how adorable

Kynlee you soooooo remind me of myself in my previous pregnancy :) I was constantly worried and I don't think I would have survived without the support of wonderful ladies on this board and my sweet DH. I worried over every twinge, every ache...everything!!!. If you are getting sorta sharp needle-like aches by where your ovaries are and the pain subsides once you move it is most likely round ligament pain and it is nothing to worry about just your ligaments stretching to let your belly grow. I am so glad everything is going well for you :)

Tiger I am so sorry about the loss of a twin but congrats on one healthy bean :) I have seen this happen on this board a few times and in every case I know the other bean is usually a perfectly healthy singleton. I am so so happy you are on this side...I remember us cycling together a while back:)

I was wanting to ask you girls if it would be ok for me to join your group too. I know I am not due in 2012 but the very end of 2012 (Dec 16th) but the other board is pretty far along and I cycled with most of you and know you girls much better. Please let me know if you object...if not it would be awesome sharing this journey with you

Anna - of course! Welcome! :D

Lauren - that is so cute! With our boys, at one u/s they were facing each other and both pounding on the membrane between them - hitting each other. So cute and funny!

AFM - u/s this morning went well. The tech questioned why I was doing ANOTHER scan, and I explained a bit of our history and she became very accommodating :D Baby is measuring 4 days behind (as opposed to 3 days behind last scan....) which worries me a little, but seems to be fine. Moving about like crazy - which is so cute! Great heartrate.

Next scan is NT in 2w6d from now! Not sure I can wait that long!

Leora yay for another great scan!! So are they gonna do the cerclage after the NT scan?

Kynlee an NT scan is a test that checks the baby for down syndrome, trisomy and spina bifida and maybe something else. It is done around 11-13 weeks and it is an ultrasound during which the tech measures the skin on the back of tha baby's neck and you also do a blood test. They take the ultrasound results and your blood results and can usually rule out high risk for those conditions. You usually have to repeat the blood work at 16 weeks to confirm results. I think the test is optional but we always do it just for the opportunity to see our little munchkin. Don't worry about being a nervous nelly and feel free to ask all the questions you want but I would suggest if you can...try to enjoy your pregnancy a bit because it will be over before you know it :)

AFM Had bronchitis this week and it was awful!!! So bad that I think my heart rate was irregular and now I had to go see a cardiologist and do an endless list of cardiology tests. Ugh sometimes I am so sick of all the appts. This week I had my regular OB appt as well as a cervix u/s (thank God everything is still great and the cervix is still 3.5cm) and then appt with the cardiologist and a separate appt for an echocardiogram.... Honestly I just want some peace :)

How is everyone else doing?
