I'm able to stop poi but re wants me to start crinone just for the hell of it. He doesn't think I need it since my level has been high but it won't hurt to do it. Sunshine – thanks for your encouraging words!

Blueeye – congrats on one making it to freeze! Here’s to a future baby!

Kynlee – Thanks for the positive story. That’s what I was hoping, that they would do another u/s, but they just said, go to your OB now. I’m hoping that at that appt in 2 weeks that they will do another u/s. Congrats on the awesome u/s!!

Chris – congrats on a wonderful u/s!!

Madame X – thanks for outlining your PIO plan. My RE said I could stop at 8 weeks, but I think I might continue for a little longer…

LauraN – is this your first DE cycle? Awesome fert report!!

Ninde – Oh dear, I hope you feel better! 7-up?

Dys – can’t wait to hear about your last Beta!! The u/s will be here before you know it…

Kay – thank you so much for the advice and guidance. For you, did the other one absorb? Now I’m just waiting for bleeding or something! I hope it just goes to heaven peacefully.

Wehave – love love love your girls already!! Congrats!!! I am so happy for you!

Pocos – it took me 4 years to open up to people about what we were dealing with. For me, I didn’t want to share something so personal. Well, the last year, I started telling good friends and I can’t tell you how supportive they have been. I’m glad that I opened up about it. Have you shared with your friends? In terms of strangers, I usually would say, we’re thinking about it, but not in any rush. We want to take our time. That usually got them to stop asking.

Jayne – thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I’m glad your son was happy and healthy! Your ER will be here soon! Any headaches? I hope you are feeling good!

Always – congrats on the wonderful U/S!!!

AFM: I’m starting to feel better and just so grateful for all of the support from all of you. DH is not much of a talker about feelings and since we found out that we are pregnant, I’ve been hoping that he would ask me about it more…I don’t know why, maybe it’s the emotions…But, tonight I had a moment. I reminded myself that we all show love in different ways. We’ve been remodeling our master bed and bathroom for literally 1.5 years because we are doing all the work ourselves. We didn’t want it to take over our life, so we haven’t been slaving away at it. Well, since we found out, DH has been working on it every night because now we HAVE to get it done before this baby comes! This reminded me that even though he doesn’t walk in and ask me how I’m feeling or what’s new with the baby this week, he’s showing me that he is getting ready for it in his own way and is so so very motivated to get this bathroom done. It reminds me of that book about love signs, I haven’t read it, but I think I need to!

Too many times we get distracted and lose sight of what’s important to us. Sometimes it’s because reaching a goal is hard work and we are tempted to take the “easy way”. IVF is certainly NOT the easy way, if anything we are the ones who have a greater respect for kids because we fought so hard for our own miracle baby. I wish having kids were as easy as planting my vegetable garden then MAYBE you wouldn't hear me raging most of the time... I know it would drive dh insane if he really knew the emotions I go through so thank you for allowing me to vent here.

One of my dear friends shared with me today that staying focused is difficult but keep your eyes on God and He will lead your way to where you’re supposed to go. This journey is so incredibly hard and I've come to realize there is no easy road but I often find myself going in circles...This afternoon I heard a song over the radio on my way to work that really spoke to me. It's called "Mountain of God" by Third Day and I really listened to the words. I know I often get lost and loose my way but I know what's important in the midst of everything and I cannot loose sight of my greatest priority.

Congratulations AlwaysAngel, let's call it a couquered milestone and each week going forward I have much anticipation that you'll get to enjoy more milestone miracles and bring this baby home!

Pocos- When I was much younger, I felt it's a personal topic and most people out there don't understand half the process we put our bodies through. But over over the years dh and I have gotten more open-minded especially since the miscarriage. It's helped us get through the hardship talking about it. Maybe the hardship helped us gain a way to talk to others about fertility? However we're not bothered people knowing what we're doing because we need their support now more then ever.

Tiger- That could be dh's way of getting prepared for the baby, but I'm glad you don't have to harp over him to get it done. lol like most of us!

Tiger- your story reminded me of the book called The Five Love Languages. It's a wonderful book. It's written from a Christian perspective so if that's your thing then it would be perfect for you. I'm not a very religious person, but still found the book to be wonderful.

Pocos- it took a while for me to figure out how to handle the kid questions. I am pretty open but it depends on my mood and company. Some people aren't worth the time and energy. Those that are will understand, hopefully. I can't stand the oh why don't you just adopt comments. I want to respond with oh why don't you! Adoption should not be left to infertile couples. Anyone can do it!

Always- great news!

Ninde- how are you feeling?

Christy- I will be happy when you don't have to deal with that coworker. The stress of being around her is just awful.

Leora- how are you?

AFM- hanging in there. I'm 5dp3dt and growing impatient by the second. My neighbors are so sweet. Two ladies near me are always asking how I am and for what they can do for me. They are very motherly. We have had lots of sadness in our neighborhood lately. The family a couple homes down from us suddenly lost their daughter this Sunday to ovarian cancer. She was 31. The ambulance came Sunday morning and my neighbor next door told me. Another neighbor has been struggling with stage 4 lung cancer. She is young too, maybe in her 50's and progressing quickly. Her diagnosis was a shocker. She went to the dr with headaches and dizziness. The MRI showed brain tumors but they were able to tell they weren't the primary cancer. They had to hunt and find the lung cancer. Life is precious!

Patricia-
It sounds like you are right where you need to be. Anything 16 or greater is considered "ripe" and you never want only one follicle "hogging all the glory" as my RE says. Get ready your follibabies are coming home!

Jayne- I put the cream on 1 1/2 hrs before I am gettingt he shot, then I heat a heating pad and put it on when the shot is done for 7 mins it loosens the oil and then you wont get that bump DH also rubs that area before i apply heat... Hope this helps :)

Always Awesome HB As for the ticker I found lillypie easier to use :)

Tiger- Your DH sounds like mine he isnt really a emotional kind of guy its like pulling teeth to have he ask questions lol so what I do is send him the U/S pic here and there and say Smile and then he text back something cute to make me thing he does care just alittle quite on the subject lol I think Guys are more affraid that if something went wrong they need to be there for us so they dont show the emotion till the day our beans are born :)

blueeye- sorry about the neighbors that have cancer that is so hard to go through... :( When is your U/S? I am going to look for that book, I am a Christian and I would love to see what it is about :)

Ninde- It only takes one good embie girl so one of y our 4 will be the one :) The sizes sound good too :)

Christy- God is awesome he will get you through it :)

Thank God its Friday :) Busy weekend then OB on Thursday :)

Quick update. We went with the doctors recommendation and only transferred 2. They were super good looking 8 celled embryos. We did go back and forth with everyone about it though. I am laying on the table waiting out my 30 mins then off to bed for a few days.

Kynlee- vaginally

And sorry, i can't remember who asked, but yes, this was our first donor egg cycle. We will use as many of the frozen embryos that we need to, assuming some make it, but we will not do any more fresh cycles, even donor.
