Ninde - WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So happy for you!!! Unfortunately my job is so crazy right now plus my boss is on vacation and my co-worker is a nitwit so I have had to work the whole time. Just took off transfer day. It's a desk job though, so not that bad. And I can bring my dog in which is surprisingly relaxing. Really, I think your news just made my day!

Also, how do you all feel about using real names? I am in a FB group with a lot of other ladies on here, it's kind of refreshing to see normal names instead of logins. Mine is Cordelia, feel free to use that instead of Wondercat! :)

patricia - congrats to your 2 eggs - thats awesome and beats most statistics :-) and 1 Grade 1 just perfect.
at my first cycle I was nervous about the grading and we ended up with 2 grade 2 and it worked so now I am not hung up about grades anymore :-)
I had strict bed rest for a total of 3 days - which my RE is very strict about - so you can only get up to relieve yourself - no shower. Last time I complied totally - this time I was a little more lenient but stayed on the couch or in bed most of time - which is really hard to do. Nice thing is I read 3 books which I hadn't had the time before.

Cordelia - you are just having the most turbulent cycle from all of us (besides sorcet of course). Does it keep you from thinking about your result? For me it is hard to concentrate. I just left work early yesterday and went to the beach - much more relaxing.
And I start thinking about POAS or not - last time I didnt it but it is so nerve-racking - if you do it too early and it is negative it doesnt mean anything but when is too early and if you wait until they do the test you are nervous waiting for the call. That's the part I don't like at all.

Have a wonderful day

Patricia - Yes, it's just about IVF. It's a private group, so your other friends will not see any of the posts or comments. (I was kind of worried about that at first!)

Annette - Yeah, has been kinda a weird time for me with this cycle. Just got an "open letter" to our entire workplace this morning that there are going to be more layoffs. Ugh. I left work to go to the beach yesterday too! OK, my office is actually right across the street from the beach so that's not too hard to do. :) I just tried to add a picture, but am not sure it went through OK. If it did, that is a picture taken last night at my parents' house while I was there for dinner (2 miles from my house). My great-grandfather bought it in 1944, my son is the 5th generation to enjoy it. Really, I am so blessed.

So much exciting stuff going on over here! I just had my first day of shots yesterday, and it wasn't bad at all. Slow day at work so all I want to do is read forum posts!

What is the Facebook group?

Next: Work on improving DH and my fertility while saving up for next round. Why does something that we want so badly have to also be so expensive?

Cordelia- Oh pooh, just when I got everyone's names right  I'm Tamika, When is your beta? Day at the beach, sweet!!

Patricia-Yipeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!! So Glad everything came out so friggin wonderful!!

Anette- POAS does come with its ups and downs, I guess like this whole process. If it"s going to stress you out.. don't bother, but if you need something to do while u wait it can't hurt, as long as you don't take the results too seriously

Susy Q- Your clinic sounds awesome what a nice gesture

Brmommy2b-good for you fun times ahead, you will be trigerring before you know it :)

afm- playing hookie from work doing some house work, thinking chicken fajitas for dinner. Two more days, :D I'm goin nuts. my lower abdomen is crampy but not like a period I'm kind of worried about it. What do you guys think about flying?? I didn't think about the turbulence, when planning my trip.

Cordelia: amazingly beautiful photo. I'm sorry about the possible layoffs. That's awful.

Tamika: I have never heard your name before, its really pretty. When are you are thinking of of flying?

Annette: I've only ever had grade 2s so it was just such a bonus. Why is showering not good?

Be: what protocol are you on?

Patricia - I dont know why showering is not recommended but I also so it recommended on other Clinics website. I guess everything where you are standing? - as I said I was on strict bedrest

In general, RE's recommend:
• no heavy lifting for 48 hours
• no strenuous physical activity, such as running or zumba aerobics for 48 hours
• no tub baths or swimming for 48 hours
•no douching, tampons or using a bidet
•no alcohol, smoking or recreational drug use
•no intercourse and no orgasms (this stays in effect until you can see a fetal heartbeat via ultrasound or you have a negative pregnancy test)

I like the website www.ifvconnections.com - they explain most of the stuff (bedrest, spotting etc) and have pictures, too.

Cheers

Ninde/Patricia- Woweeeeeeeeeeeeee! I am sooooooo thrilled for you. I had such a warm feeling spread all over me when I read your post. This is going to be your time. I just know it. You will remain in my prayers.

Cordelia- Love that name. Is it a family name? My name is Cristie. Love the photo of the lake. My favorite place to go is the lake. I am very fortune to live on one here in WA.

Tmiddle- Sorry not time to look back for names at this minute. Flying is fine. My clinic says you can fly same day as transfer.

Annette-Wow! Strict bed rest. I was told too much restricts the blood flow.

Got to run girls. Had to check in and see Patricia's results. Will post more later. Off to cooking class. :D

Annette: thank you for that website. I wont shower today, I'll leave it til tomorrow morning and I'll take a cool one. Its 1110am in ireland, I sat on the couch for a while last night after be rest and I'll do that later today. I had heard about blood flow being restricted too and also that embryos like to be rocked which gentle motion does.

Cristie: thank you so much :D and I'll pay for your family today. What did you cook in your class?

Tawny: good luck today

Patricia- I taught the girls how to make bread. It was a ton of fun. While it was rising we played a scripture scavenger hunt around the church. One of the girl's mom posted on FB her DD said it was the best activity ever. We meet 2X a month. It is a program through my church that prepares girls 8-11 to be young women. We cook, sew, spiritual lessons, do service, and have a ton of fun. I have anywhere from 12-14 girls. I love doing this. I taught school for years and now that I am home I miss the kids.

Brmommy- Good luck with those shots. We will be looking for good news.

Alright Ladies, I am off. Thank you for the prayers. Smiles to all.
