By the way - any Philosphy majors out there?! I have to put a class together on the origins of psychotherapy for a course I'm teaching and have to go all the way back to Plato! Found 'Plato for Dummies' yesterday which was even too much for me and resorted to 'Plato for Kids' - now I need Aristotle's theories explained in English I can understand! Its funny, I loved Psychology and have a First Class Hons Degree in it - but Philosophy totally wrecks my head!

Patricia- No help for ya, just an elementary school teacher here. I am taking it easy and staying positive. Did not sleep well last night so I will take a nap in a bit. I miss all the festivals in Europe. They were always so fun.

Lindsey- Glad your joining us. The more the merrier. Sounds like your right on track.

Tamika- Eggs can be frozen as long as you need them. Wish I had another on ice, but this was the last one.

Cordelia-I have learned very little goes according to my plan. We do still have hope and beautiful little boys to enjoy in the mean time. We have much to be thankful for.

Patricia, I am on 2 Menopur and 1 Bravelle every night, plus dexamethosone daily after lunch. I add Ganirelix tomorrow, and I think that is it until triggering with Novarel. Then I will use Endometrin suppositories, Medrol, and Estrace after retreival and/or transfer (not sure yet of the exact sequence). Lots of fun stuff!

Christie: I'm a psychotherapist and usually this stuff doesn't arise! But I've been asked to teach a four year training programme for adults training to be therapists which will be just one day a week but its lovely because I get to take a class through from start to finish which is a first for me. However, it means I have to dig up my information on the origins of therapy - I didn't enjoy it when I studied it which doesn't help. Now to find a way to make Freud more relevant and less "oh dear God, where was he coming from with this rubbish"!!!! Where did you live in Europe?

Lyndsey: ooh thats a lot of drugs! I was on 6 menopur a night (oh the joy of mixing!) but not bravelle - its amazing all the combinations of drugs. NOw I'm going to go out on a limb here with possibly tmi. I'm taking cyclogest (progesterone) pessaries but this time I'm taking them rectally - I can't believe I'm saying this but I find it far better than taking them vaginally, no mess at all (although I'm desperately trying not to think of where the waxy residue is going!)

I'm feeling a lot better today the pains in my rib cage has stooped. I have no clue what was up with that unless it was lying or sitting wrong in bad posisions. My lower stomach is still bothering me but today at my transfer he said my rt overhead is still huge. Between that and a full bladder we Really didn't get to see much durring the u/s . They did say the embryos look fabulous grade 3 & 4. The 3 is almost a 4. She said 4 is the highest grade. Both of em have 8 cells like they should for day 3. Dh told the doc if we have twins he is dropping one off at his office. He is really stressing about twins. Beta is Sept 6th

Had my second beta 1086 anyone remeber there numbers when having twins im wondering if my numbers are on the high side it was 372 Friday

Tmiddle - Look at my numbers from my DD's FET cycle. I thought I was having twins or triplets (although we only put back 1, so I was pretty confused). We just had one! People's numbers are all over the place, so I always encourage people to just look at the increase rather than the numbers themselves. I wish I could have used your leftover meds! Don't need them now, but my meds were $4500! Yikes! Maybe asked your RE if they accept donations to give to people who are self-pay and having financial troubles (especially if they have had failed cycles in the past)! Just a thought.

I mix all of the meds into one vial and just do one shot, so it's not bad. They showed me this morning how to add the Ganirelix in, and so it will still just be one shot. But I have lots of trash and sharps containers!

Tamika-great beta! Congrats!! 15dpo I was 275 and 17dpo I was 824 with twins

Tamika- great great beta's. As for the numbers I wouldn't trust any records there as Lindsey said. My last time the ladies on the boards said I am going to have twins with those numbers and I had one. So as long as your RE doesn't say so or you see it at your US I would just wait. By the way- do you want twins?

We transferee two so there might be a chance but I am not sure if I would like to have twins?

Tawny- yeah for two perfect eggs!! Hope the cramping goes away. At our ET I didnt see it either and it was kinda funny since RE said do you see it here it is , do you see it- and I just couldn't he gave us an US pic of it where it shoes a tiny white dot.

Lindsey - that's a nice suprise that they let you mix the stuff into one shot I nev thought to ask. That makes it a lot easier.

Afm - POASed again today and we saw a darker line can't wait for Wednesday to get my beta and real confirmation

Patricia-Great for you on the class. I lived in Italy about an hour north of Venice in a town called Roverado at the base of the Italian alps. We were there a little over four years.

Afm: I'm definately quite crampy in the mornings and i have a low level headache which I. Hoping is the progesterone. My big worry is not making it to test given what happened last time - i started af 6 days before i was due to test. However, I'm trying to keep positive and go gently.
