Well....I have a date...

Post by helenlouise »

Had a consultation at the hospital today and their policy is not to let twin mums go over 38 weeks. So, if they haven't made an appearance in the next couple of weeks, I have an induction date of 3rd August!!!

Fingers crossed that they make their own start in a week or so. Both are now head down and around 5.5lbs, so growth is perfect.

Still not sinking in though. I'm going to be a mum!! Where has the past 9 months gone!??

How exciting Helen! I can't wait for all these tiny twinnies to arrive; I'm quite nostalgic for baby twins at the moment rather than the tantrumming toddlers that I'm used to.

It sounds like they're in a great position for a natural birth. Fingers crossed that they stay that way and stay put until the 3rd.

Helen

good luck, looking forward to seeing your news about the twins. Get some rest before hand though because the washing of twins clothes alone takes at least 10 hours a day  (or so it seems) I feel like mine have just lived in sleepsuits since they came home.

Take care

Would you mind not telling us about washing the clothes - as if we don't have enough to worry about hey Helen?

Glad you are well and the boys

Hi Helen

Glad to hear you have a date, time will pass so quickly now.

Tracey just read you have an induction date. Good luck and hope everything goes ok.

Lisa you are right about the washing and i only have one, the machine is never off. Duncan is for ever peeing when i change him and it goes eveywhere. Most of friends had girls and they laugh when i tell them how far it can go.
