Ryan I am over the moon excited for you and would love to have you here with us. It is weird not having exact dates I agree...I actually think I am a week less than what the docs think but since the baby keeps measuring to their dates and not mine I have stopped arguing. I know what you mean about the disbelief....still gets me sometimes but who could have imagined these stories are actually true and sometime a miracle happens. AFM Next growth scan and cervix check tomorrow...always nervous Hoping to do a baby shower BBQ in 3 weeks for friends and family ( both men and women invited) I will update the baby's weight and stuff tomorrow as soon as I know more. So we are still struggling on the name so I wanted to ask you guys....what do you think Nicholas or James? I love the nick-name Nick or Nickie but the hubby is leaning towards James...any opinions welcome

Annashope- I amdoing good, I still dont feel pregnant lol but I guess that is a plus to not be sick... I have my next Appt 9/6 for my 12week u/s cant wait As for names I like them both, but James is one of my Favorite names, if we have a boy James will actually be his middle name

Always- Glad you scooted over to here Our U/S are the same day next week, switching to the ob seems scarier then it is... I am so relieved to be there now it makes it that more real

Hi girls just a quick update

U/S this morning went well. Our little boy is now 1lb and 11oz and is a wiggle worm My cervix is shorter now...went from 3.5 to 2.8 so we will be watching for that. I guess I will have to start taking it easier and finally agree to a cleaning lady once a week. I can't believe its only 14 more weeks until we meet this little guy

Kynlee you are so lucky to not have symptoms...I was soooooo sick this pregnancy until week 14 I would love to have felt good. I think if we went with the name James then it would be James Frances (my dh middle name ) but if we went with Nicholas then James would be his middle name. I love James but don't care of Jimmy or Jim so literally one day we call him baby James and the next day he is baby Nick...lol

annashope- THat is too funny my Father in laws names is Frances James That is why we are using James for a middle name, his brothers names is Frances. I agree I like James too, but people tend to shorten everything Either name is Nice What should the cervix be? Wow 14 weeks will be here be for you know it

Blood test result tomorrow afternoon, but doc thinks I may be further than I thought?? He thinks because I've been getting a + all week that maybe my last af wasn't actually af and maybe we should be going off of the previous one...which would make me 7w3d. Yikes!!! Can't wait to find out more!

Hi Everyone - seems like I made it to this board as well. Just had my second beta today and it went up from 795 to 1330. on Monday I will have the U/S so I am excited to see if we have one or two

Beta is only 66, which I suppose would Make sense if I'm really 3w4d. Progesterone is low though. Go back tuesday for more bloodwork, but won't hear back until Wednesday. Ay yi yi

Thank you Anton and always! I'm trying to stay optimistic, and I think it's working. I'm imagining bring this baby home in May and believing its going to happen I already think its a girl I was right with the twins but DH thinks I'm nuts lol

Anna - I'm sooooo nervous about the cerclage! You had your TAC placed pre-pregnancy, right? I'm so worried that placing the cerclage will *cause* a problem and that we would never have problems if we didn't place it. I just need to keep telling myself that I need the cerclage for peace of mind, and peace of mind is worth a lot... - I like either Nicholas or James. We have tons of girl's names, but no boys names! I have an inkling this is another boy, so I'm trying to come up with names!

Kynlee - I have my NT scan on the same day as you - Thursday Sept 6! (also, have you noticed that I'm exactly one week ahead of you? cool!)

Ryann - 66 is great for as early as you are I swore up and down that I thought my twin boys were girls.... I was proved wrong BIG time (The first time I guessed boy/girl, but DH said that was a cop-out because with fraternal twins, there is a 50% chance of boy/girl and only 25% girl/girl and 25% boy/boy.) This time, I have a strong "boy" feeling, but DH is just laughing about that until we get a real answer

AFM - I felt crampy all day. Not bad period-like cramps, just heavy and achy. I hope that just means healthy baby! I panicked because I didn't throw up Friday or Saturday morning. DH said it was fine and I'm just feeling better because Im 12+ weeks now, but today was AWFUL. The worst I've felt all pregnancy. hurray

I keep trying to find baby on my at-home doppler. With my boys, I first found the HBs at 13.5 weeks, so I'm trying not to worry that I can't pick up anything yet. Also, at 11 weeks, neither u/s scanner could find baby on the abdominal scan and had to use TV u/s, so I'm guessing baby is pretty far back/hidden by fat. (Anyone else here overweight? The u/s techs here have a really polite way of saying it in the reports, something like "the X was difficult to visualize due to excess padding in the maternal abdominal wall" )

Cerclage surgery was bumped to Sept 19th - Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year) got in the way of the other date. 2 weeks from now starts the Jewish holiday season (about a month of back to back holidays -- starting with Rosh Hashana, then Yom Kippur, then Succoth) and everyone here is getting ready. I grew up in the USA, and the only place I saw decorations and sales for these holidays was my Jewish private school and the kosher store. It's so weird to see everything decorated for the holidays now. (and in December, there is pratcially nothing. Hannukah isn't really a big holiday in the Jewish calendar, and giving gifts on Hanukah is really just an American thing based on Xmas gifts. To see any Xmas lights, I have to go out to Bethlehem )

Leora- I was going to try the doppler thing too but everyone says its so early I will worry myself lol so I have U/S Thursday and Ill see my bean by then Ill be 12 weeks then Ill try the doppler I may get obessed with it though lol... Good luck Thursday And yes I did notice our dates Im sure the cramping is normal

AFM- Just relaxing I know everyone says be happy Im not sick but it would be much easier to believe if I threw up lol... Quick question I think I only have enough progesterone in oil til Weds or Thursday friday would be the 12weeks do you think its ok to stop at weds if I run out or should i order another vial and go til 12 1/2wks? Also I am so nervous to stop them worry the baby may be use to it and if I quit it it may trigger something to happen to the baby, has any one else had this same worry?
