Update! (also posted on August board) Exciting times over here. Just got back from an U/S. We're expecting to be hit by Hurricane Isaac sometime in the middle of the night tonight and all day tomorrow. My RE told me that he has 4 retreivals scheduled for tomorrow, and the bad part is that they've advised our whole city to stay off the roads tomorrow! But he said they have to do what they have to do! The staff at my clinic is SO AMAZING! RE said I look on schedule for a Saturday ER, and that he wants me to come back for one more u/s on Thursday to confirm, then we'll trigger on Thursday night. There is a good chance that we'll be without electricity over the next few days, so my ER recovery will likely be hot and sticky, but I'll survive! Right ovary had a good number of 13-18mm follicles, left ovary a little smaller with fewer and around 8-13mm in size. Last time around, they got 12 eggs, 7 fertilized, 3 made it to blast, we transferred 2, got a BFN, and went straight on to an FET with our lone frostie, where we got our BFP on Christmas Eve. It was all a whirlwind, and how hopefully this next little one will be conceived in a hurricane!
Like I said, exciting times!

Sorry I have been MIA . It's been busy at work and I just really don't do well with the birth conrol pills they give me.
OMG......Ok so I will be praying tonight for a safe trip and a eventful retreival. That is something to say when the staff and doctor's will come in dispite the cercumstances. I'm so excited for you! Keep us up-dated.
As for me I will off this damn birth control on the 5th and start stims on the 10th if everything looks good.

Brmommy2b, Wow ok 2ww 9/15 - baby dust to you please keep us up dated! Thank you for the nice comment. Really I'm at a crazy stage right now. I'm so scared to do the transfer.........I don't want them to tell me it's another bfn. But on the other hand if I don't do it they can't tell me it's a BFP?? To top it all off my sister-in-law is pg and I have been asked to put together her baby shower in November. I keep on thinking ..........what if this transfer dosn't work and I know have to continue with her shower??? I don't know if I can make it!! Ok enough ranting.....
afm: I have an appointment on the 10th for ultrasound and bloodtest. I'm still scheduled for the transfer on the 28th. This is my first FET and I don't know what to expect, however I need to stay up-beat.

Pauleen, FET is so much easier. Shorter, fewer meds, less crazy, and for me, the only thing that has ever worked! Let me know if you have any questions.

I would love to get more information from you. Would you mind if message you?
To be honest I have so many mixed emotions today. My friend is PG, my sister in-law is PG, 2 people at work are PG.....just found out this morning my ex's wife is PG??? wtf. I can't be more in the spot light with my husband to have this cycle work!!
I sooooo don't want to fail! I hope I'm a FET person

Hi girls!
I'd love to join your thread too. I had my 3dt on September 7th and am on my third day of bedrest. I cannot wait to get back to normal life tomorrow! I'm 41 and my hubby is 39 and we have a beautiful little girl who is 2 1/2 from IVF. I had a condition called hydrosalpinx which is basically water in the Fallopian tubes...so I had surgery to cauterize them, so IVF would work. I live in Los Angeles. Looking forward to getting to know you!
Welcome to the group! I just posted on your 2ww post. My little girl has her 2nd birthday party this afternoon. She had so much fun! Hopefully her secret birthday present is a sibling!

Welcome!! I to live in LA. What Doctor are you going to?
AFM: Today I had my first doctors vist to start my estogine shots for my FET transfer on the 28th. So far so good. Only issued they put me on birthcontrol and I stopped on the 5th and yet to have bleeding. Soooo......?? Don't know what that means. The doctor wants to see my blood test results before he comments.

Had my second ultrasound appt since starting stims 4 days ago and when the Dr put the wand thing in the first thing he said was "Try not to get doscouraged if this takes longer than we wanted it to".My ER was tenatively set for the 19th but he said it may take an extra 4-5 days. He had already lowered my dosage after he saw my baseline ultrasound and now i dont know what hes going to do. He said because of my PCOS he wanted to go slow and get to where we need to be slowly rather than stay the course and over stimulate which could result in canceling my cycle altogether. Anyone else experience this? Will he lower the dose more or take me off them for a few days?
