Annette- Holy crap times 2. Wow thats a big monthly premium and not have IFV fully covered and second wow to the twins. Atleast you have 2 out of the way and no more fees upfront for another IVF. Congrats Congrats

I don't think any company should get away with paying the penalty and cancling the employees insurance thats a bunch of crock.

Annette and Tamika- Congrats on the twins. I had wondered with both of your numbers. I pray you each have healthy babies.

As for the insurance we pay about $350 for our family a month. We have no infertility coverage and $4000 decutible to be meet per person or $8000 total. Even with the decutible met it only covers 80%. Still have $25 co-pays for everything. It has gone down in benefits drastically every year for the last 4 years and up in premiums.

Suzyq~ seems like your numbers doubled nicely though. They always say the rise is more important than the number. I'm counting the days until Friday for your ultrasound.

Tawny~ politics and insurance are both painful. When I worked for a hospital, my insurance was awesome (still no IVF coverage but everything else was good). Now we go through my DH's job and our insurance is not nearly as good. We have paid over 40 grand for this whole process. I was sad because before I got married, I work extra hard to buy some investment properties and I had to sell one just to pay for IVF. If I end up with a healthy baby, I have no problem with it but it is so hard to think about all of the money we have spent this far with still no baby. Even though it sounds like you're covered for the most part, it is still a headache. And btw, I honestly thought my first cycle was the worst. My doctor changed around stuff each time and I think this last cycle was the easiest (despite my OHSS). I'm hoping your next round is better.

Kiwi~ oh my. That is quite a surprise. Congratulations!

tmiddle~ Big congrats to you too. Very happy for you.

AFM~ had cramping today so I was so nervous but it seems like it is gone now. No spotting. I was so afraid to see blood but never a drop. I'm hoping it's all OK.

So I did a no-no and tested early in the middle of the night last night and got a BFN. I was just shy of 7dp3dt. I have been so bummed out today. I know that it was early, but my first beta with my daughter was 425 so I feel like I am one of those people who has high betas, and thought it probably would have registered by now. Do most people that have high HCG levels once always have them, or does it vary cycle to cycle? I know it's early, but I am just feeling negative now.

Life can be so "funny" sometimes. Just found out my brother-in-law's 20 year old sister is pregnant, and the family is devastated. Boyfriend left her. And here we are, doing whatever we can to have a child. I asked if she had considered adoption, and was told "no, she has a friend with a 3 year old so she thinks it can be done". Just such a very different place from where I am. Trying not to dwell on it.

Jayne: I think just try and rest if you can. I always thought cramping was pretty normal and can be growth and there is no blood which is good. Im sure you are worried anim keeping you in my thoughts

Tamika: that's great news, congratulations.

Lyndsey: im sorry it was a no when you tested but its still really early. Im not sure about the levels, again, im pretty sure each cycle is different so although you had high levels before, it might not be the case this type. Im sorry you are down x

Christy; when is your u/s?

Sorrcet: his are you?

It is over for me this time ladies. :( Started heavy bleeding this morning. Went in for an U/S and they said I was having a miscarriage. Took b/w but results will not be in till tomorrow. This just was not meant to be from the beginning with my low beta. My DH has been pretty supportive and says we can try again in March when he gets his bonus. I really wanted this to work so that money could be put to a different use, but am thankful we have it coming. My youngest stepdaughter (21 and single) called me and was so sweet. We do not always see eye to eye so it really meant a lot to me that she called. She told me she lost her mucus plug this morning so I will be a grandma any day. Isn't that crazy. I hadn't said anything on here because of how it sounds. "Crazy lady at 44 trying to get pregnant while becoming a grandma............."

Suzy - I am so sorry. I know it has to be with such mixed emotions that you are about to be a grandmother! I see people around me getting "oops" pregnant, or pregnant on their honeymoon, etc., and I really have to keep reminding myself not to take my sadness out on others. Try to enjoy this time of your life too! I think my mom likes being a grandmother just as much as she loved being a mom!

Sorcet - I am so sorry for you too. It's so hard to make the decision of whether or not to move forward. I will pray for you and your DH to make the decision that's best for BOTH of you and your family!

Jayne - I had a LOT of cramping and some bleeding with my DH. While it was VERY disconcerting, and twice I went to the Dr thinking I was miscarrying, it turned out to be fine both times. I pray that is what is going on for you too.

AFM - Trying to stay positive and accepting of whatever is going to happen for us with this cycle.

BRmommy~ Thanks for your words about my cramping. Made me feel better. I am so sad that you got a negative. Maybe he/she is a late starter. How many dpt will you be on 9/15? I went in early on my second cycle because I had a strong feeling it was negative and I didn't want to take meds if I didn't need to. I am thinking of you and I'm still hoping for a surprise on Sat. I am not sure about your question about HCG levels. I would be interested too since I know I had low levels w my son because I didn't test positive until 3-4 days after my missed period and I was actually pregnant w twins (one vanished). It makes me even a little more scared about my high numbers this time. I do not want to see 3 heartbeats.

Suzyq~ I am so sorry to hear the news. I can completely understand about the money part. We seem to get the money right as we need it (which I am grateful for) but it would be nice to spend it on something else. And I do not think you're crazy for almost being a grandmother. And I'm glad to hear your stepdaughter reached out to you. 21, single and having a baby... Will she be able to support herself OK?

AFM~ no more cramping so that is a relief. Now I'm just patiently waiting for my U/S. tic, toc, tic, toc.
