WaitingKay – I m so sorry about the bleeding, but I am glad the twins are ok. I had lots of pain and pressure after I had OHSS (especially when sitting down)and they did an ultrasound to check the blood flow to the ovaries to see if there was a twist. They found nothing. I had some hemorrhagic cists in my ovaries, and that was causing the pain. After they were gone, I felt better. Maybe you have thess cysts too. Did they check the blood flow to your ovaries? I am praying for you.

Ninde – Thanks so much for the relaxation track. I cant wait to get home and try it. I forwarded it to my husband so he can save it in a CD for me and he started listening to it and loves it. Thanks so much, its so nice of you to help others like me.

Sunshine – I hope everything works well for you and you get approved for the IVF loan. This journey is not easy, and boy it is so expensive. But its our dream and it will be worth. When I think I can have a baby at the end, I get strength from who knows where to continue. I usually call my family and use MSN messenger to talk to them and see them online, but what I wanted was to have a hug from my parents. I miss the physical contact, the Sunday lunches together, going out with my mom, helping my brother shop for clothes and shoes, etc. I wish I had more vacation days to go visit ☹

Nicole – Hope you feel better from the migraines.

AFM – I started math classes yesterday, I am taking some classes to improve my English and also get a college degree from the US. It was not easy. I couldn’t focus, and when I couldn’t solve a problem I just wanted to run away and cry. I just hope things get better and school helps me forget about infertility.

Pocos-my heart goes out to you. I wish we lived close so I could personally give you a hug. This journey is sometimes heart wrenching. At times, I don't know how I was able to get myself together to try just one more time. But I did as you ard and as all the other ladies on this board have done. We are so much stronger than we think sometimes. I am glad you are not giving up. I pray so much for everyone on this board as I know everyone did for me during my BFN's and miscarriages. Those that achieved their BFP's before me gave me hope that someday that would be me bringing home that baby I so desired and dreamed of having everyday. And in the end God provided us with double the blessing. So, please, don't give up hope. We are all here for you. I have grown to make very good lifelong friendships on this board and wish the same for you. Please PM me if you would like to possibly text, talk, or email outside of the board setting. Sending you a great big hug.

Pocos- I know it's not the same but I'm sending you a big virtual hug! I hope classwork provides some distraction but math was always my enemy in school, spending hours trying to figure out algebra. I was fortunate to have a neighbor down the street who was a whiz, but I hope you meet some people there along the way. Study buddies who can help will make the challenging work more fun!

AFM: Great news everybody, We just received approval on the LOAN application for the IVF ATTAIN PROGRAM!!!!! I cannot believe THIS is finally happening!!!!! :D Yes we found a way to afford treatment praise God! Next step is getting back in touch with the clinic, the Attain Program to get the contract emailed to me for us to sign and schedule our appointment for bloodwork. Wahoooo, October is going to be our cycling month! :D

Christy - I am so so so happy for you! Finally things are happening! This has got to be the beginning of a long line of good tings happening for the both of you guys.
Everybody else - thank you so so much for all the love and prayers I really feel down and needed it. I am also alone here today.
POCOS - yes they cecked the flow to the ovaries it was good but still no 100 percent guarantee no twist. The bleeding is weak but lasting for nearly a week now and nobody knows where it is from (it can't physically derive from my problem ovary. Sorry again for lack of personals and PMs, still only have my BB with me. I feel pretty down also because the food here is really really BAD. Everybody continues on and on how the cervix seems fine (I always thought even for clear cases of IC the cervix seems fine until it suddenly opens. All docs continue toi thin we should reduce but I just never get a clear answer to what they think happened with my late loss. I hate it all right now:( :( :(

WaitingKay I am so sorry you are undergoing so much uncertainty, this has to be THE most difficult decision of your life. Am I understanding you are at the hospital right now with all the terrible food, it's sounds like a hospital if it includes yucky food. So they aren't doing the cervical stitch today, I am not quite understanding how they determined that but it sounds like it's more related to the ovaries now with the OHSS. I hope you aren't in any pain, I bet your more confused at this point then anything. Would monitoring you more with a high risk doctor could give you a better chance to make this work? I only ask questions because I don't know how all this works but it can't hurt to find out if something more can be done. I am continuing to pray everything works out for the best, and through it all I'll be here every step of the way.

AFM: ok still waiting for the IVF coordinator to call me back...In the meantime I'm trying to figure out my insurance benefits for the IVF drugs. I have Medco Prescription Drug Plan and found out they don't cover fertility drugs. Ugh I still am undecided about which insurance plan I want to go with-- Traditional PPO, Premier CDHP or Basic CDHP. Leaning more on PPO or Premier but thinking if I had to go through another surgery for fertility stuff it would be better to have a lower deductible so I'll probably go with PPO with all the stuff, who knows maybe I could even appeal cost with the insurance so I'm thinking with a difference of $23 I might as well go with PPO.

Update It's now 2 hours later, clinic just called me back.. BCP start on Sept. 18th (next Tuesday)- thru October 8th. Lupron begins Oct 4th...First ultrasound is Oct 18th! Stimming October 18th-29th, with retreival sometime around Oct. 29th. I couldn't possibly be more excited and scared at the same time, can someone tell me I'm not insane and just think the raging hormones haven't even started!

Hi ladies, board seems very quiet.

Nicole: how are you now?

Christy: oh that's wonderful news!! Congratulations!!! And its ok to be scared and excited!! Im thrilled you are starting :D

Waiting kay: you poor thing. Ok so am I right it thinking they are concerned about ovarian torsion? I really wish you wernt in hospital where it must all be really confusing and worrying but im glad you have people monitoring you. How is your pain level?

pocos: you are very brave to go into college feeling the way you do and well done for doing that. Its all happening for you and you are trying to adjust to a new life away from friends and family. Talk here - it wont make everything go away but it will help.

Maria: how are you?

Afm: just back from seeing david strassman the fabulous american ventriloquist. His puppets are chuck wood and his most famous Ted E Bear. Anyone know him ? Started the biggest loser challenge today. Should have been n 8 week challenge which started last Monday but I just wasnt ready to start

Christy, great news!

Ninde, good luck with your challenge. I'm thinking of joining our gym competition again. It starts on the 25th.

Our board has definitely slowed down. A lot have joined the secret Facebook group. It's pretty active. School started so I'm back to getting up early and trying to get used to a schedule again. It's been nutty, but good.

Christy - WOOOOHOOOOO! I'm so excited for you! Starting again is a great step towards bringing home your baby. I hope this cycle in October works, and you get to be big, pregnant and miserable all summer next year!

Yeah, this board has gotten quieter. I think the FB being so active is part of that - but I also like the forum idea. I'm around and stalking everyone!

Thanks ladies and Leora--"pregnant ALL summer long" more like hormonal all summer long! l I need someone give me an estimated due date be if RE is Oct. 29th. Who knows it may take all 6 tries but with the IVF Attain it's a share risk program with 70% refunded back if no baby is brought home.

Ok I'm intriqued about the "top secret" IVF fb page too..but also prefer to keep everything separated and this forum would vanish is everyone went to facebook. I shouldn't be too concerned since I know some will think the same way I do. I also know the good buddies will always be here cheering us on. As for ladies who have graduated from IVF and "ready" to share with their friends and family FACEBOOK it's a great thing but this secret fb page is still new to me. I know "Ghost" would always be here regardless but if I must be honest, I've leaned on you ladies more (no offense Ghost). Oh and I still think we can get Maria's thread going...all the way to page 500 even if it's just me over here rambling I'm known for that! :D

Excuse me for the total alck of personals and attention to friends, but iii have an excuse. On the way to our first apt today I started feeling a terrible pain in my left ovary. I only have my BB with me so I keep this story very short -the twins are still safe nobody knows were the bleeding is coming from but they were afraid my ovary may twist due to the previous OHSS and because I had such sharp pains. I was admitted to thehospital and they donlt see a reason to operate (by inserting a camera throiugh my belly button because when I don't stand or sit for long I don't feel the pain. No answers about the selective reduction just more contradiictive opinions. I will write mire when I cAn,

Kay,

I wanted to reach out......This happen to me on my second IVF. They had done the transfer on the Thursday, then on Saturday I woke up at night to use the restroom and when I turned to my side I could feel my ovary flop. It was a horrible pain that I can't descirbe. At first the doctors thought that I had OHSS, which now looking back I probably did but due to me having only one ovary and them harvesting from only one my ovary twisted. My doctor admited me into the hospital and put me on morphine straight away. It was so early in the transfer that by the time everything was said and done, my cycle was a BFN.

Hang in there....all of this is not an easy process. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
