Kay~How are you feeling? When I read your post about the decision you have to make, I feel for you. That is a very tough decision and I can definitely understand how hard it must be. Can they do an amino first to see if they are both genetically OK?

Nicole~ I can definitely see why you're pissed. It's so fun when the dates line up like they are supposed to. I am super happy with my due date this time because it is a time of year when we don't have much going on. (may 14, 2013). Do you live close to your mom? I would be interested in the facebook group.

Leora~ so close to your cerclage. I'm hoping everything goes well. Thinking of you.

Pocos~ I liked your advice about living one day at a time. It's so hard in the IVF world. My mind wanders and wanders. However, for some reason, I have a feeling that I will not see 3 heartbeats and that makes me feel better. My DH reminded me that our RE only gave us 2-3% chance of triplets and even then, a 50% chance one would spontaneously abort before 12 weeks. Those are pretty good numbers. I would love to see 2 heartbeats (i've always wanted twins) but I have to remind myself that one heartbeat is really the safest. I am very sorry that you're feeling down. This IVF stuff can definitely do that to people. I am happy to hear your mom is coming in Nov. Enjoy your time with her. I miss my mom so much and I would give almost anything to have even one day with her. Moms are special people.

Ninde~ When is your meeting again? I'm excited to see what the RE has to say about everything. Hopefully, you can get some answers. Interesting that Ireland does not do donor eggs.

Sunshine~ I am thrilled for you. What great news and so exciting that you can start planning it out. I know you have been waiting a long time so it must be such a relief for you. And to have the insurance of the 6 cycles must be nice.

AFM~ My OHSS is much better. I'm down 6 lbs so that is a relief. I had some cramping a couple of days ago (no spotting) but it still made me nervous. Now it is gone and I have very little pregnancy symptoms but sometimes I feel nauseated and my boobs will hurt so that reassures me a little. Now I'm just patiently waiting for the U/S. I'm taking my son to Disneyland today so I'm so excited for him to wake up so I can tell him. Should be a fun day.

WeHaveHope – Thank you, that was so sweet ☺ Even though the IVF road is not easy, I am not ready to give up. I have to try all the possibilities before giving up, but I really hope the next one works.

Sunshine – Thank you! I just hope my head gets better so I don’t have to drop this course, you know, school is expensive in this country! Congrats on the loan approval! I will also be cycling in October! Good luck to us!

WaitingKay – So sorry you are going through all this stress. I am praying for you everyday so you don’t have to go through the reduction. Stay strong for your babies.

Ninde – We loved the relaxation track! My husband was asleep at the end, which was great because he has been so stressed and sad as well. Thank you soooo much! I am going to listen to it everyday! Its nice you are focusing on the challenge now, I just wish I could focus on my school but its so hard sometimes.

Jayne321 - I know what you mean, a singleton is the safest, but I also have always wanted twins. Triplets would make me worry a lot, but twins would be great. I used to think about doing fertility treatments just to have 2 babies at once, little did I know that I would have trouble having one LOL. Enjoy Disneyland!

AFM – How can I join this secret facebook group? Thank you ladies.

Christy: I hope people stay here, particularly for you as you have supported everyone else. I feel its very important that support is continued here because so many of this group who have become pregnant in particularly the last number of months have received wonderful support from this forum and i realize that people can leave when they want but i do feel that its not very nice when people just disappear when others would get a lot from their support. I know we are all busy people but to me its important.

Kynlee; how are you feeling?

Pauleen: oh that sounds like it was awful. My twin sister also only had one vary and got ohss every time. Eventually her vary did twist and she had to have it removed.

Waiting kay: how are you?

Pocos: lol, Im glad my voice put you both to sleep!!

Afm: wondering what my meeting tomorrow will bring

Ninde

Jayne: my meeting is tomorrow. When is your u/s. And I hope you had a lovely day in disneyland :D

Ninde,

Thank you for your response! Kay and your sister are they only one's that I have yet to hear about having the same situation happen. So your sister also had to do IVF? Why did she only have one ovary? Yes......it was sooooo painful and had I waited any longer they would have had to remove my ovary as well. Was she able to have a sucessful PG with IVF?

I am sorry about your BFN and I know how painful it can be with going through a whole cycle and then receiveing the news. I know my doctor continues to tell me that it's just a matter of time, however for me time and money I don't have much of. I have a FET this month and still at this stage I am getting cold feet. I don't want to go through the process for the third time for them to tell me at the end that's is a BFN. (sorry for the ranting) I so get it though!

Hang in there. My doctor did tell me on the average it takes about three trys before the magic happens.

The secret FB group is a private group so it doesn't show up on your personal page. It moves fast. I have easier access to it so I see more of it thru the day because I get updates on my phone and iPad. I still like the message board format. It's easier to follow multiple topics.

I came home early because of my nonstop headache and so I could have peace. So much for that. There is road work on my street and my dog is barking. I can't win!

Christy, If you search ivf due date calculator you will find ivf.ca I think. You can enter various egg retrieval dates and get due date info. It's nice. It breaks everything down as well. Is there a calculator on this page?

Pauleen: doctors wernt too sure why my twin only had one ovary. There is a possibility it was removed when she had an operation as a child but if that's the case then it was totally without her or my parents' consent. Apparently there was a blood supply but no ovary! There was some suggestion i might have three but that wasnt the case!!!! She had 7 ivfs and only got pregnant once and she miscarried so it was awful. She adopted after 7 years, last year from ethiopia. So your doctor says three times? Well I've done 3 fresh cycles so fingers crossed. Im in he same boat re money and ti e and i really relay hope your fet is positive. Gosh I've just looked at your signature, you have had alot of miscarriages, im so sorry.

Nicole: you are being hammered by these headaches arnt you?

Hi all! Just checking in while I actually have internet. So much had happened here and i'm afraid I barely get to read before my signal craps out at the house. I can rarely catch 4g but try to pop in before it disappears. No idea when we will actually get it put in the house.

Ninde-I've tried messaging on Skype when able but I never seem to catch you on :(

Baby dust to all! Praying for everyone.

Ninde- So true most of the ones I remember even back in 2010 are not even around anymore. I call them the fair weather fertiltiy friends....But through it all we can count on a handful to always be there thick or thin.

Pocos- lol math is a major headache, I hope it all get's easier where did you say you are orignally from? Yes ma'am we are getting geared up for October, it's all just around the corner! I've never been so happy to get started again, after ONE year of waiting it finally feels like we are moving full steam ahead! I'm glad you're on board with me!

Hey Julia!!! I read your post a couple of times lol but did you say house?! What's going on with you girl, I saw your siggie just now but update us over here. :D

Jayne- Awww how was Disneyland, I bet your son was so surprised when you finally woke him but what a special day you gave him! He's quality time with his mama before the little one comes along and a feeling of responsibility maybe with helping out more when the baby does get here will be so good for him. Thank you, I am thrilled and feel relieved to have 6 chances. More then anything I've decided not to worry so much about tomorrow. I'm taking a huge risk esp. with dh's job, his contract at the college ends Summer 2013 but I feel I cannot focus on where we'll be a year from now because everything changes all the time. My brother even told me his job could be gone tomorrow, see there are never any guarantees in life. All we can do is pray and hope for the best. Besides I'll eat peanut butter sandwiches for a year if it means I can hold this miracle in my arms.
I really shouldn't worry about the money because it's more about how we budget that really matters and you cannot put a price on a bundle of joy!

To-Have-Fun- Thank you I really hope it works on the first try too. Btw I do lurk over on the PAT board but I'm glad you lurk over here too. lol Thank you for helping me keep this thread alive. :D

WaitingKay- I'm thinking and praying for you tonight!

AFM: Nothing new, just counting the days down until it all begins! :D

Chris~my name is Amy Rayan. I go by Jayne on this board because I've always wanted to name a daughter Jayne. I sent a friend request. Thanks

I will come back tomorrow and read more closely. I'm spent after a day at Disneyland. One of my best friends and I took our boys. They were supposed to be born the same week but her son came very early (24 weeks?). He only weighed 1 lb 9 oz and is totally nornal. Our boys have a great time together. Really fun day. And my boobs hurt the whole day which I was happy about. NIght.

: hi, nice to hear from you. Maybe pm me or email me at patriciaalle@gmail.com and we can arrange a time to chat via skype?

Pauleen: I really hope this is the start of a very sticky pregnancyfornyou

Christy: that's a brilliant name for them!! Are you really excited?

Jayne: glad you had such a good day

Afm: I had my wtf mtg and surprisingly it went well. Unfortunately because I've had three such totally different cycles because of the egg numbers, drugs and embryo quality it seems its incredibly difficult to know if there is any one proble,m. We do know that my age, I'll be 41 in oct, is a definite factor. She said I can go again but that i have to understand that when there are three failed cycles (apparently my pregnancy which ended in miscarriage is considered a failure) then statistically it gets even less likely on subsequent cycles. So if we go again she is suggesting a hysteroscopy and then an endometrial scrape. Apparently there is good research supporting the scrape for increased implantation rates. What do you think?

Ninde- I would try the endo scrape, I dont think it would hurt things...:) Thinking of you ill be here cheering you on when you start a new cycle... :) I am doing good, stopped all the meds and go to OB for HB check tomorrow, can t wait :)

Christy- I dont think people will stop checking the boards just because they are going on a private page on FB... I think the FB thing is more to keep up with current updates and they will get them more quickly since they get post to there phone :) Plus its nice to have a second place to chat and see how others are doing that may not be on here as much :) I will still be on the thread and I like the FB idea since I am on that more then here. But Im sure new people will be on this thread since they will be starting new cycles, You know you always have me supporting you :) Since i started cycling 3 yrs ago I have met alot of people, and some that have already got there babies still keep in touch weather through here or text so dont worry about anyone straying will all be here cheering you on. :)

Ninde-I also agree that you should try the endo scrape. I've read research that shows that it does in fact improve implantation. Anticoagulants like Lovenox injections which I did during this last cycle or a simple baby aspirin also is shown to improve implantation. Do you have an idea of when you would be doing the test? Are you still planning on seeing another RE fir another opinion? I pray that thus next cycle works for you. I will continue to pray for you.
