Hello ladies,

I have not abandon you. I have just been taking some time to myself to deal with this. I also check in with IVF Gals on FB for anyone who would like to join the other ladies there. Several have moved there.

Patricia- I am not sure I would go for the scraping either, but do some research on it first. I know this journey is not easy. Please stay positive girl. I agree with Cordillia about checking into egg donors. There are some great new programs out there where you can get an egg from an egg bank or share a fresh cycle with another couple. Tamika- How are you doing? Feeling prego? Share some good news with us.

AFM-I went in for more b/w yesterday. It was all I could do to get out of the car and go in, but she said I have to return every Friday until my HCG is a negative. It sucks I started out so low, went all the the way up to 2336 the day I miscarried and now am at 250. It seems like this failed cycle will linger torching me forever. Does anyone know if the bleeding goes as long as you still have HCG in your system? My RE said I would probably have to go for 2 more weeks. I go in Wednesday for my follow up. I am looking forward to discussing my options with my RE. I really fear I have no eggs left. Don't remember what my numbers were, but they were horrible from what i recall. We will start retesting in Feb. to see what direction we are going.

Cristie : it's an incredibly hard time fir you right now physically and emotionally. And it's cruel that your hcg went so high and now you have to deal with it's slow reduction. I'm not sure on the bleeding. After my d&c I bled for a number of weeks but that was probably more to do with the operation. Have they given you anything to help the miscarriage or must it all happen by itself?

We have only one egg donation programme here and it's linked to the Ukraine so I will email you and thank you for that. Could I ask one more thing but only if this is possible for you? My egg reserve is also low, if your re has any thoughts on possible way of boosting yours would you mind sharing that with me?

Ninde~ I ordered the DHEA from amazon and I took just one pill a day. I want to say the previous bottle I had a long time ago say two a day so I did whatever the bottle said. I'm not sure what made my egg quality so much better this time. I personally think stress was such a big factor. The previous cycles I was taking care of my mother w ovarian cancer non-stop. I remember I could hardly keep up between her chemo appts, her care (she had a poop-bag that I had to change very frequently), my work, my 4 year old, my husband, ivf appts, etc. I'm not complaining because I would take her back in a heartbeat and do it all over again. It's amazing how much I miss her. With all that being said, my health was very low on the priority list. This cycle I was exercising at least 3-4 times a week, eating better, sleeping better, and also taking a prenatal vitamin and DHEA. It's hard to say if the DHEA helped but it won't hurt. You might as well try it. My doctor wanted me to take it for at least 3 months.

Tmiddle – We are happy for you! I have been there too, and understand the feelings of not wanting to be insensitive. Hopefully we’ll all join you in BFP land one of these days, hopefully not too far from now. I hope your morning sickness is short-lived!

AFM – Last night I read the entire Pregnant After Treatment thread from when I found out I was having my daughter (thread from 2009). I laughed and cried at the joy and panic and all of the other crazy emotions I went through. Seems like forever ago. Hope to be there again one day.

Tamika: thank you for your sensitivity - i think in general 98% of women on the boards seem very sensitive to those of us who havnt been successful and that's why I think its certainly easier fir me then to be genuinely pleased for your successful ladies and your journeys

Afm: this board has been so quiet in that I guess it was the aug transfer board. Are we calling it a day?

Patricia - Like Cristie I have been mostly following the FB IVF group. As you say, now that the August transfers have wrapped up we are finding ourselves all in different places. For me I am looking towards my November transfer already. (My cycle approval just went through, the nurse called to tell me to get refills on all my meds and we are a go as soon as I get my next AF.) In that respect the FB group allows more flexibility with the ladies there constantly in different stages. It probably is about time for this board to end as we all move on past last month's transfer.

Patricia- Today finally things have let up. Just a little spotting. I see my RE Wednesday and I will post what I find out about boosting my eggs.

Tamika- Sorry about the nausea. It is a tough price to pay, but worth it. Thanks for the sensitivity, but we are so happy for all those who got BFPs.

As for this board it is sad to let it go. It has been great support for us all. I will keep in touch Patricia. Will you join us on FB?

Hi Ladies,
I'm still hear just reading in the back ground. I'm waiting for my WTF appointment tomorrow to see where we are going next. I don't think the hubby wants to do this again any time I bring it up he gets pretty cranky about it and shuts down. But I know he will do whatever I want to do because this is important to me. I'm an only child just me and my mom, dad passed when I was 8 So I would really like to give my mom her one and only grand baby. She has had so many health problems with Overian cancer and the only thing that kept her going was a chance to see her grand baby some day and I'd hate to not be able to do that for her. I also feel pretty inadequate for DH family he has 3 other brothers that have produced 9 grand babies and I can't even give his parents one. This really sucks for me emotionally no matter how many times they say that it doesn't matter if we give them a baby or not.
I had a really bad week last week I AF came Tues night but was ok When I woke up Wed I had bleed through everything. THe dogs woke me up to go out at 5:30 I had to take a shower and clean up. I was so weak nausiated and shaky. I went back to bed with a super plus tampon and a pad alarm went off at 7 and I had bleed through all that as well I was so sick I called into work. I called the doc at 9 to call in af and to see if this was normal. She said I would probably fight this for the next few days they had my linning so think that I was bleeding really bad and then getting sick because of the loss of blood. Luckly I didn't have to go to the hospital I was finally able to keep control of it. That really put a tole on me cause it was really official that I did not keep the pregnancy this time.
