Patricia-- I have 2 doxins my oldest, jack is 5. The new one is only like 3 months old his name is Charlie. He was driving my nerves nuts last round, most of my break downs were just because I couldn't deal with him pottying in the house and crying all the time. Sounds like a kid don't it I hope a real baby is better. But then again no meds that drive you nuts anyway.

Christy - hurray for starting your drugs!! :D

GreekChick - welcome back! I hope your next cycle is the one that brings you your baby!

Patricia - I wish that everyone had endless finances for this (or like here, the IVF was paid for by the insurance). Adoption is sooooo difficult. I hope it works out smoothly for you.

Pocos - I hope the crazy juice isn't making you too crazy! When do you start the stims?

Nicole - you can consider Israel too. The IVF here is top-notch and I know there are several clinics that cater to foreigners. I know Margi considered coming to Israel for IVF before her insurance changed and she went to California.

AFM - doing fine - chugging along. This point in the pregnancy is scariest for me -- I just want to get through this and on to the third trimester.

Tawny: I just googled doxins, they are so cute!!

Greek: I dont normally switch on skype because its so unstable. Its great that you can move on now and hopefully with much more success. How is Greece?

Leora: I can understand why you are nervous and want to get into the next trimester. I really hope this is the one

Hello everyone!! Its been a couple of months but I have caught up on reading on this new board! Well our traveling for work is slowing down & My husband has been asking what I want to do and doing another cycle or just stopping. I've been thinking really hard about it all and I am looking into doing another FET cycle late November or December. I saw my OB/Gyn last week (which I totally trust her too pieces... ) and told her what was going on (that nothing is sticking!!) 3 fresh IVF cycles & 1 FET Cycle.. So she said I'm in good health, still young (36...turning 37 late november) and good weight, Plus I had a baby (going to be 15 on Sunday Oct 14th) WOW>>> So she thinks because my period isn't 28day cycle that I need to get it on track and once that happens I should be good. So I am taking Metformin twice a day. I was like what about Endo scrape? she said she doesn't think I need it but once I have at least 2 period on a 28 day cycle she will do a pap and go from there. So that's why I am now looking at late Nov/Dec . So we have 4 frozen (1 5day and 3 6day) and I told my husband We will just use up these and we are done. My body can't take another full IVF cycle. It was way too much on me! My husband said we can adopt if you really want a baby or just wait we might be grandparents within 5-10yrs. I'm like NO....(my stepdaughter is 14yrs old) I need to start acupuncture again & I'll make the call too my Dr after I start my period next month. (I want to see how these pills are working first) GooD to be Back (but then again scary.... ) Good Luck to All!!!
Good Luck to ALL!

Hello!!!!! Just got home and my cousin's wedding was sooooo beautiful and I"ll try to post a pix tomorrow when I get back to feeling better. I wanted to describe a little of what's going on...I took my last bcp this morning which I know a period should be coming soon but didn't think I'd feel like this tonight. TMI >>>>My abdomen is very achy and crampy- there is a little discharge but it's the weird color of black. But I also remember this happens when the body is trying to get adjusted to bcp so I'm not too alarmed. Been taking Levothyroxine with bcp in the morning, Doxcycline with meals, one injection of Lupron and then prenatals with CoQ10 at night. Fortunately there was no problem with the meds over the weekend, had to keep the injection meds cold so I used a cup of ice but thought next time an insulated mug might work better. I don't bother carrying coolers around especially when I know the entire family is coming...haha unless I could hide them in a case of beer but since we don't drink they would think I'm insane. Anyway let me flip back a page and catch-up I missed you all over the weekend!

Wishingandhoping- I had no idea you went through IVF Attain! Everyone tells me the peace of mind makes it all worthwhile. We are very excited and fortunate that we got it finally approved to start this month, I may have some questions along the way but I do like the idea about skipping the fet to move to another fresh enabling you to have embryos later for a sibbling. I wish you the best this upcoming February, trust me I WILL be stalking away!

Cyn22- Hey you I remember cycling together...I'm glad to hear things have slowed down at work a little to enable you to cycle before the new year. It sounds like you have a plan set in place with the Metformin and I'm glad you love your doctor that's half of the process of knowing you're in good hands! :D

Leora- Thanks for updating us over here, I know there is constant worry it's easy to reflect back but you have to remember that was the past and this is present and THIS baby boy is going to be your rainbow baby! (Now I want you to go back and read that previous sentence three more times out loud Yes I said outloud! :D) Part of me is glad to be moving forward but the other part personally feels with injections Lupron is kicking my butt and overall my body is out of wack right now.

Suzyq- And we will be cheering you on come March, you stay busy and keep the time flying by that's the only way I knew to make this year finally get to October, we had postponed everything from May to October.

Tawny- Doxins are soooo fun and make great indoor pets...they really become your furbabies over time!

Greekchick- I hope all the testing comes back fine, next month's IVF will be here sooner then you think!

So here are a couple pictures from my cousin's wedding.... :D

Ninde – You are welcome! Hope you had a wonderful birthday! I am still “under control”, I just hope to stay this way and not let anxiety control my life again.

Wishingandhoping – Thank you for the prayers and please continue to pray for us.

Suzq – Good luck girl!

Leora – The lupron is giving horrible headaches! ☹ I should start stims Oct 13, but now I don’t really know because I haven’t gotten my period yet and my first baseline is tomorrow! They said I should bleed before the baseline, I called the doctors office asking if I should still go tomorrow. Wow cant believe you are almost 18 weeks already! Try not to worry and live a day at a time, you have accomplished a lot so far!

Cyn – I hope your next FET works! Good luck!

Sunshine – Beautiful pictures!

AFM – Sorry I have been MIA – my computer wasn’t working this weekend, and yesterday was a holiday, so only today I was finally able to use the computer at work. I am a little worried because I haven’t gotten my period yet (not pregnant - did urine test) and I am supposed to go for baseline tomorrow. I was told I should have had my period before this first baseline. I called the doctor to see if I should still go. I just hope this cycle doesn’t get cancelled ☹ Where is Aunt Flow when we want her to come?? Not fair!

Pocos- I know what you mean, WHEN we want AF to come she doesn't show and vice versa..nope it's not fair! Did they happen to place you on bcp because that will alter your cycle? Regardless I'll be rounding up everyone to start the AF dance for you this week! :D

Woundercat--- How are you doing? Has AF came and paid a visit yet???

Pocos- I know how you feel about AF right now. Your waiting for AF to start your baseline and I'm waiting for AF to start my BCP's I'm one month behind ya.

Sunshine-- Jack and Charlie are deffinently my furbabies. I have a moma's boy and a daddies boy. The pictures are lovely by the way. I've been taking Levothyroxine in the mornings for my thyroid but what is the Doxcycline for and the CoQ10? Everyones protocals are so different and interesting to learn about. I always wounder if I should be adding that DHA or not. I just take a regular plain prenatal vitamin and a baby asprine in the morning. My last IVF round I was on BCP for a little more than a month and when I came off I barly had AF it was like 2 days of spoting like dried blood more black than red. She said it didn't suprise her my linning was really thin befor the BCP so there wasn't much to shed and they counted it as AF and let me continue as planned.

Cyn- What is the dosage they have you on for the metformin. I have been on 1500MG perday with my biggest meal since Nov of last year and I have yet to see a 28 day cycle. But I have also been none stop with IUI's and an IVF since then as well. I lost a few inches and about 15 pounds in the begining of taking it which was a plus but now I have evened out again. Maybe they need to up my dose if it's suppose to give me a 28 day cycle. They put me on it because of PCOS and have said that it is working... :?

Thanks Maria and Kynlee for checking on us tonight, always nice to hear from dear friends. I hope all is well with you tonight. I cannot wait for the end of this month to get here for so many reasons! One we get to find out what Kynlee is having and several of us will be going through transfer around that time too.

Akdelp, hey you glad to hear from you..AND I cannot wait to cheer you on with your upcoming FET! Sorry to cut this short, dh wants me to get the injection ready so he can go to bed yet I have much to tell you ladies..so the pg coworker decided she wants individual gifts instead of one big present that we all had originally mentioned doing...I even thought we could arrange the shower around our floor move told her we would already have everyone there and she said no, that this would be her only shower since she has hardly any family and didn't stay in touch with her old friends. Anyway I got another coworker to take care of my shopping so I don't have to put myself through the misery, which should help some. No I haven't heard from Anton, but she certainly has been missed by all us. x

Tawny, you're right about Aunt Flow, it's definately old blood the cramping was pretty bad today that another coworker gave me some motrin which relieved the cramps for time being. As for the meds...Doxcycline is simply an antibodic to keep dh and me healthy so we don't get any infections prior to IVF. It's the first time and I had to double check for dh because I thought it was strange they have him taking the antibodic too. CoQ10 I read sometime back helps improve the egg quality and our RE has it on the recommended list of meds to take prior to IVF lol I think he actually researched it when I had my last consultation visit who knows but I started taking one 100mg of Coq10 sometime back in March so we will see...ok I better run before dh boots me off the computer!
