Sorry Ladies, I'm been working ALOT, due to two other managers coming down with the flu, just glad nobody in my household has came down with it. I want to spend the day outside since it is so gorgeous but must get some sleep first. ha it's been so cold in the mid 60s so to have a day in the 70s makes me happy. I could never survive up north for sure, lol.

Leora- Snow capped palm trees you must take a picture and post it here. I bet you are getting packed for your upcoming cruise, I hope you and David have the best time and reconnect after going through so much. Feel better soon girl you have so much to look forward too!

Tawny- Congratulations on being released!!! I''ve had a Obgyn picked out since 2008, and everytime I go in there I say just one of these days Dr. Ingram you will be delivering my baby and he responds I'm looking forward to it, he referred me to my new clinic in Gulf Breeze, Alabama since he had heard so many good things about the Attain Program. The best way to find a good obgyn is ask for a referral from your friends or even coworkers which is how I found my compassionate doctor.

Lauren- Awesome beta numbers girl, keep up the great work! Yes work will certainly make time fly by, it seems like it was Christmas just yesterday lol my next door neighbors still have their yard decorations up but it's practially mid January, so yes it's flying by here too. We are hanging in there too. Dh and I went in to meet his potential future employer with Flowers Bakery this morning. I kept thinking on the way over there how nice it was that they wanted to meet the wife, no employer has ever asked me to come before making the final decision, I felt included. lol I also kept thinking they would offer me some bread while I was there. I knew I couldn't ask for a twinkie anyway lol oh goodness but I found myself more intrigued with the customers Flowers Bakery serves, I even asked if they had the Subway account yet. But Flowers caters to WalMart, Sonic, Krystals, Target, McDonalds and for those how care Burger King. Anyway I am much sleep deprieved so I better stop here before I ramble too terribly much.

Hopefully I'll be back for more personals and "catching up" after a catnap. ttyl :)

Hi ladies...

Ok so im freaking out!!!!!!!

Went to RE today for bw. Originally I had scheduled my u/s today but when I had it last week she said to come back in 2weeks. Well I tried to reschedule next week and couldn't get anything. So she said....just do it today since your here.

So I go in...the tech starts the ultrasound and she's real quiet for awhile.....she then says. I'm sorry I can't find a heartbeat...I was in shock and all alone bc DH was at work bc we had no idea this was the plan. I start to get upset...she then says...well actually I do see one. It's 100bpm and she check 3times! She did measurements etc....she finishes and goes to get my nurse. She comes in and says.....ok so according to the measurements the baby grew 3mm in a week and is measuring 6weeks 4 days last week it was measuring 5 weeks 4 days I think...I know it was smaller than what they say I am. So anyway she says come back in a week and we will see.

Meanwhile I'm freaking out bc I went from no hb to yes there is its just not increased...well why? She says it can still be just the gestational age but now I'm honestly freaking! I know there's nothing I can do.

She then calls me and gives me my bloods....beta is 27,576 estrogen dropped and so did progesterone to 39 from 50. What does all this mean? She said the doctor says everything is "stable" I'm a mess....

Could it be the age? Maybe the rate was off last time ? Any input would help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lauren- the baby is supposed to grow 1mm/day for a while -- check out http://www.brooksidepress.org/Products/ ... cannin.htm A low heartbeat isn't a good sign. This isn't over, but that wasn't good news. When do you have your next scan? I hope this tech was just incompetent and that baby is actually fine!

Lauren - Wow.. hate when we don't get reassuring news. Some u/s can be better then others.. just depending on where the baby is located and how good the machine is, plus how good the u/s tech is. I think it is very reassuring that the baby grew in the past week. Maybe the machine wasn't picking up the h/b correctly.. Ya never know. Sorry your in limbo but praying your next scan is better.

Thanks ladies! I am so sad and scared. I feel like this is all ending. I guess hearing the tech say...there's none to yes there is...idk. How do they even count the beats? I thought once u saw the heartbeat ur chances decreased. I feel like why? Why is this happening...I know it does but I'm just upset and feeling helpless and like its gonna be eternity before Monday gets here.

The nurse said some growth is still good and the fact that there was a heartbeat...I have no bleeding. My symptoms aren't as strong but maybe it's all in my head bc I'm officially crazy!

I appreciate ur kind words and support. Guess time will tell.

Lauren - I believe they say that seeing a strong HB in week 6 or 7, the odds of miscarriage decrease to about 5%. Usually by week 7 the HB are at least in the 130's /140's . Your little bean could be just taking her sweat time. Come on Monday!!!

Lauren_ I'm sorry to hear what your struggling with. When is your next scan. I would hope they would get you in sooner then later just to check and make sure everything is ok in there. My fingers are crossed for you.

Sunshine- I have my apt tomorrow to get things started. I messaged our normal doc on FB to get her opinion. She gave me 2 dr's and then my RE gave me 1 so DH and I talked about looking into all three and make a decision from that. It sounds like I will mostly be seeing the nurses and PA's untill I get close to the end anyway. But I'll learn more tomorrow I guess. I'm hoping for another U/S in the next few weeks I really don't want to wait until I'm 18 weeks for the next one.

sunshine- Apt went great today they said forget about the doppler to try and hear heartbeats and they pulled out a bedside u/s it was hard to see cause it's so small but they are still there (only 2!) and they both have heartbeats. I like the new doc's they are pretty kewl so far gives me a little more relief.
How exciting to start your next cycle of BCP. That's awsome that you have some donated meds. I don't have much left over but I thought about donating them after I get through my first timester.

Lauren- when is your next scan? How are you holding up?

A HSG showed some adhesions in my uterus. I'm meeting my OB tomorrow to discuss what to do next, but looks like our next cycle will be delayed. ****.

In any case, we leave on vacation this week - hopefully this will be a great break from everything.

I'm just so frustrated and angry and sad all the time....

Leora - The same thing happened to me. It totally sucked. I needed a hysteroscopy and ended up having to wear a balloon catheter. It delayed my cycle like 3 months and I had to go hormone replacement therapy. I think mine was a more extreme case in that the adhesions were really deep. But it was all worth it in the end. Other ladies have cycled much sooner and just think how it will improve your chances. Let us know what your RE says and enjoy your much needed vacation :)
