Sdtrying-thanks for not beingad at me. It was a long hard road to get to where we are today but I would not trade it for the world. I thank God everyday for my two little miracles. I'm glad to hear you are doing well. And I can tell you, I have a 14 year old son, and he is still rambunctious. Boys will be boys!!! Congratulations on your pregnancy and in seeing a HB!!! Can't wait to hear all about the coming months...

Tawny – Hope your weekend is going well with your family and they did overload you too much on dairy and advice. I can’t give you any advice on the genetic testing we opted out too. Plus, we used donor egg and everyone was tested up and down. I figured enough was enough and it wouldn’t change anything that we would do either. My friend did have it done. She did say it was covered by insurance, but everyone’s policy is different. Give your holder a call.

Kynlee – Wow, your baby boy is booming in there!! Did the doc move up your due date? Do you think you will go earlier than expected? How was your shower?

We- Hi!! Thanks for popping in! Glad everything is going well with your girls and family.

AFM- The next day my doc office called saying my glucose was high. I went for the 3 hour test yesterday morning. Could this be why the jump in weight gain? I know pregnancy = weight gain just 12 pounds in three weeks is a bit extreme to me. I should get my results back on Monday. We installed a new window in the nursery yesterday. My DH painted the moldings last night and I should be able to hang the curtains tonight! This should be the last of the construction/painting and then onto decorating. I can’t wait!

Gi- So happy the triplets are looking good 20 weeks if awesome Ill be praying for th enext 10 to go nice and smooth

SD- Heartbeat of 120 is awesome I wouldnt worry about being a week off cause you dont know the exact day since it was natural and it may move up once the bean gets bigger

Tawny- I had to go for genetic testing since I am 36 I told them I wasnt going to abort if something was wrong so I didnt see why I needed to do it but the DR highly recommended since i did IVF So we did it... They scan the heart alot to make sure everything looks good and since it did I got to go back to my regular OB. I had to go to a high tech place for the scan since there equipment showed more detail...

Madame- They didnt say anything about going early yet but I go back next week and then in 4 weeks for another u/s to see if the baby moved into position yet... Hoping he did cause I dont want them to move them I heard that hurts when they do that... But He is looking healthy and constantly moving My shower is today Ill let you know how it was Sounds like your nursery is coming right along We are starting mine next weekend, DH has to still do the floor then we are good to go

AFM: follow up on Friday went well. Contracts have stopped finally, so still on bedrest. Thurs back to high risk for growth scan, fan test, and cervical length checks ( again ) which will be 2 weeks since last tested and ob on friday. Needed to delay my shower til march due to bedrest as they want me on strict bedrest til at least 34 w( my shower would have been before that. 29 weeks.... Yeah made it through another week w/o labor whoo whoo

AFM-just wanted to pop in Nd say hello and let you know I pray for you guys everyday. As for the girls, I can't believe they are 5 months old already!!! Where has the time gone??? They are eating three times a day. I am making all of the puréed at home as I did for my now 14 year old when he was a baby. They are finally sleeping a bit more, 6 hours on average bit ice become an extremely light sleeper so I'm not really enjoying those 6 hours as much as I would like to. Gone back to work full time now bit blessed to have my mom caring for the girls at my home. This gives her the time she herbs to spend with her granddaughter, a little extra spending cash, and me...peace of mind!!! The girls are still sleeping in their double bassinet right next toy bed. Thinking that we really need to put them in the nursery in their cribs but I'm having a tough time doing so. I will have to this coming week anyways as both of them are regular Reilly Polly ollies and are really trying to begin sitting up by themselves. They will have this down in the next several weeks!!! I'm truly enjoying motherhood this time around again. But find myself really wanting so hard to savor every moment and not miss a single thing. I'm afraid of forgetting any little thing that happens a with the girls, hemce the thousand pics I post on my FB page. Anyone that wants to keep in touch via FB, you can look back a few posts and my info is there. Just send me a friend request. Well, time to go back to bed now that I've fed the girls and they are back to sleep. It's 4:30am where I am...

Always - Glad your contractions stopped!! I registered for Dr. Browns bottles. My friends told me they are good for gas. The baby gets little gas which means a less fussy baby. Diapers I have no idea I just registered for a tub/variety pack. Pacifiers I have heard sometimes the baby gets hung up on the ones they are given in the hospital bc that is the first thing they are introduced to. But I did hear nuk (spelling?) are good. Hope bed rest is moving along for you!

Always-For me, I love pampers swaddlers. I use pampers baby dry for night time. Huggies always leak for the twins. Bottles, I like less complicated bottles, something to consider because there are some fancy bottles out there bit with way to many pieces. I use Avent Natural and have never had an issue. No gas and easy to clean. Pacifiers, the twins only use the pacifiers to sleep. We use the gumdrops. It's the one they gave the girls at the hospital.

I have picked up some good info from you guys about bottles and swadlers, my daughter just turned 13 so this all new for me. Hope the showers, bedress, and ultra sounds are going well.

AFM I was diagnosed with iugr at 24 weeks, my doc is saying the one baby that is not growing on track will not be able to tolerate laborwhich means c-section, and I will definately deliver early pretty bummed about both. Praying we can make it at least 7 more weeks.

we - Thanks for asking.. I am doing good. baby is getting big but no serious complaints yet. I have 9 more weeks to go till c-section.. or around there so just trying to chill till then.

always - I used the pampers swaddlers.. i know it doesn't really matter but i like the outside feel of them better then the pampers. I didn't have too many issues with blowouts. As far as bottles go, i wouldn't purchase a bunch of one specific kind. A lot of times the baby will decide what kind of bottle they like and also what kind of pacifier. My friend went out and bought a bunch of Dr Browns bottles.. I think she had at least 20 of them.. her little boy wanted nothing to do with them.. Hence they were forwarded to me, which i never used. Jake wasn't picky and i used the medela bottles which went along with my medela breast pump.

tmiddle - how far along are you now? Sorry your little one isn't growing as he/she should. Hopefully you can make it your 7 more weeks. I now a set up twins born at 28 weeks and are going great now. no issues at all and they are almost a year. i believe one of the twins had the same issue.. they delivered early because one of the twins wasn't gaining any weight. i guess it could be different.. either way.. FX'd that all is ok.

Always...as far as diapers go, the twins were in the pamper dry in the NICU and got serious rashes. Like bloody oozy butt rashes. I did some research and whatever chemical makes them dry max causes rashes too. Then there's this mesh stuff in them that stuck to the sores on their butts. Just my two cents, but I wouldn't get any brand's "dry max" diapers on newborn skin. We have huggies babies though. We used dr browns wide neck for the twins. The pieces never bothered me and the twins liked them. We used soothies pacis because that's what they have in the NICU. My sisters hospital used gumdrops and so that's the only one her son would take.

AFM- had my Shower it was a blast so many presents but most of all got to see all my family and spend great time with them My sisters put together a shower I will never forget, since my Mom had passed they incorporated things that reminded us of her... I am truely blessed for my Family & In laws and cant wait to meet this little guy to add to our Family Im still egtting 2 more little showers... One from WOrk in Feb and one next weds with all my littel nieces and nephews My Son is already spoiled lol
