Hello! My husband and I live in Maine and are hoping to have a family through embryo donation. We have been married for 8 years, together for 14, and have a great loving relationship. We met in Colorado while going to school at CSU. My husband has a PhD in Chemistry and currently works for a small environmental consulting company as an environmental scientist and consultant. I have a BS in Microbiology and work for the Public Health Lab as the Molecular Biology Section supervisor.
We are lucky enough to have a lovely house on a beautiful lake in central Maine. We enjoy lots of outdoor activities like swimming, kayaking and canoeing, hiking, biking and in the winter, snowshoeing and ice fishing. We also like to forage for mushrooms, but don't worry we only eat the ones we can ID 100%, haha! My husband is a very good cook and makes us wonderful meals most nights of the week, I am such a lucky girl! We are also surrounded by a wonderful large family that gives us lots of support.
We have been trying to have a baby, with the help of a sperm donor, for a while now. We had 6 failed IUIs and 4 failed IVFs. We have decided that it's time to move on to something new. My RE think that my problem lies with the embryos, as my uterus is normal, and that if we used a donor embryo we would be able to achieve our dream of having a child.
If you choose us as the family to which you wish to donate your embryos, please know they would go to a kind, fun-loving family, with lots of love to give.
Thank you for your consideration.
