Welcome to Crazytown Wendy!! I wish I knew what the cramping meant, when do you go in for a beta/pregnancy test? I know this 2 week wait is so hard, I just hope and pray that all this cramping means you are getting a BFP. Time can only tell but I will stay with you and we'll wait it out together, ok?

Blissy- Wonderful that you got the baby in the box ordered, your cycle is right around the corner and I cannot wait to cheer you on!

Leora- You too, I mean come on AF she is wearing white panties, what more will it take?

Kynlee- I'm continuing to pray for you, I hope you get over this pneumonia soon so you can get home with Keegan and the family. I know you are so ready!

AFM: I am trying to laugh instead of cry but I managed to do both tonight. I think it all depends on what we decide to reflect on...I came home to a text message that one of my former coworkers is pregnant with her second child. I know she's waited for over a year for this moment but it's still hard. I thought we would be pregnant together. So I vented for a while...Dh managed to make me laugh he asked me how was my baseline today. I laughed and said you call all my RE visits baseline, today was a stick and stir appt, he stopped me dead in my tracks and said ok I don't want to hear anymore, that is too much information for me....haha he thinks a stick and stir (SnS) means something else. Anyone new to SnS it means stick-the bloodwork and stir-the actual u/s. But anyway so tonight I let him give me the progesterone shot and it went horribly. He stuck the left side first and I hollowed out pain and he pulled back and I was bleeding...so he went to the other side and I tolerated the needle going in but it was tough staying still while yelling at him. I thought this would be better then me giving them to myself mind you using a mirror but I am not so sure anymore. Anyway my SnS today went over good, lining is measuring 8.2. I hope it thickens more before Monday...Transfer is lined up for Monday 1:30ET.

Hi ladies!
Sorry I have been MIA....just really busy right now!
@Sunshine...I am excited to see the quilt when you guys finish it! That is so awesome and I am glad that you had a good time!

Welcome Wendy! And welcome back to the other ladies.

Leoria: YAY...AF arrived, I know how exciting that can be when you actually want it to happen!

AFM: Still nothing new to report, not for me anyways. We found out this past Monday that my husband's younger brother and his wife are pregnant. I am really happy for them. We are currently looking at crossovers, which is mind boggling! I have a headache now and do not like dealing with salesmen that don't listen to you or continually interrupt when I am talking! So rude, especially when it is my money they want!

Have a good night ladies!

Leora- congrats on AF! Can't wait to follow in your footsteps this week. AF is due Wednesday (30 days). My cycle used to be 27 days but it has increased since I had Ev. I am hoping that its shorter and AF comes soon. So excited for you Mama.

Christy- DH only gave me one intramuscular injection and I haven't been able to let him do it again. I think it was just too hard for him and I prefer to do it myself. Its so hard to hear when others close to you are pregnant. My fertile myrtle sister tried for three months and got pregnant with her second. She is 8 weeks now, perfect timing to make me feel like a loser. LOL jk. She tried for 2 months with her first and got pregnant five days before my first cycle. Its so unfair but when you have your baby (or babies) you will be so filled with grace its hard to even describe. I wish it wasn't this way for any of us, but DH and I agree that our journey has created a unique and special bond between the three of us.

Wendy- hope all is well and that you come back to the board and tell us everything is ok!

AFM- I received my baby in a box yesterday. Also met with a builder to sketch out an addition for our home that we are going to need when this works! Put Ev's bottles away (boo! my baby isn't a baby anymore!!!). Interesting, exciting, and emotional weekend.

Question- there is no estrogen support for this antagonist protocol I am doing. I have never seen that before. The nurse mentioned it but didn't say why. Any of you ever done a cycle without estrace or some sort of estrogen? I will ask tomorrow but just curious.

Alissa- I've always had estrogen support for all my cycles..I've only noticed that more patches are being used for FETs, versis one patch for fresh, but always had estrogen support. I would be interested to hearing why, have your levels above normal in the past? Very true about dh, but each night it gets easier and last night I even watched him administer the shot within the reflection of the bathroom mirror. it seems like the heating pad being used before shot and after them REALLY helps!
I think what helps us from feeling depressed is separating our lives from those around us, I mean when we start comparing what they have and what we don't have to them we tend to feel down. I know with SILs it's hard not to feel we are in competition with them, that is human nature. For that reason, part of me is glad I don't have family living right next door. lol We still talk but as strange as this may sound, I'm telling my middle brother more about my treatment then the SILs, and then my SIL calls me to find out more. She wants to be there but I know with our circumstances unfortunately it's hard to be closer. Our babies would had been around 8 days apart, but I realize that was 3 yrs ago and I need to move forward, it's not the same though but I am trying.

Absolutely love your siggie picture and I know you three have a special unique bond for everything you both endured to bring Eve home. I'm hoping you can make your family complete and it only takes this cycle but whatever happens we'll be cheering each other on. I hear your baby in the box is here Waaa hooo! Let's get this party started!!!

Jenn- It was good to hear from you this weekend, I know how we get so busy but that's good it keeps time moving and make April come sooner for you. How was the HSG testing?

Anyway I hope everyone else is doing well...I'm trying to get all my cleaning done before tomorrow gets here. Dh asked me if I wanted to spend the night in Mobile after the transfer since it's 3 hours away from home. I told him he sounds exactly like his dad...he offered to put us up in a hotel this time but I know implantation doesn't happen right away and we can make it fine with me snoozing in the back seat. Thank you ladies for being there, I couldn't make it without this support. Really praying everything thaws out ok, never had a cycle cancelled before and this is my first FET so we shall see!

Hi Emma, you sound just like my MIL, she wanted to know everything but didn't want to pry at the same time. Three years later we are chatting about this stuff being as open-minded as we are, she even with me to my last transfer AND got a picture of the embryos. lol for bragging rights. Unfortunately success is not always guaranteed and it may take several attempts, so don't be discouraged if it doesn't work on the first time. To answer your question though normally takes 14 days from time of conception but alot has to do with if your DIL is going in for a 3 day transfer or 5 day (blastocyst) transfer. So with a 5 day transfer she will know by March 8th, whereas a 3 day transfer she would find out around March 11th. Some girls take hpt starting on day 8 (from transfer) but I've never been one to get addicted, timing is everything. I hope everything goes well for her, and if she ever needs a great support system during her emotional roller coaster journey, we know she would find it right here. Best wishes to your DIL tomorrow.

Feeling all kinds of emotions about tomorrow, it's pouring outside and all I can think about is ET. I have nobody to talk to bc it is so late. Guess I should take the progesterone shot that I honestly dread and go to bed so I get tomorrow over with. G'night to everyone who's reading, I know there is someone somewhere.

Christy - I'm soooooo excited for your transfer today! I also get totally stressed out waiting for transfer -- in some ways, I find that the 2ww is easier - we *know* what embryos we transferred. Does that make sense, or am I just crazy?

Emma- depends on whether she will take home pregnancy tests before her blood test or not. HPT will give an accurate answer 14 days after retreival (or maybe a little earlier). Some clinics do the pregnancy blood test (beta) 14 days after retreival. Some wait a little longer. I know you care about your DIL, but maybe give them a chance to tell you the news (good or bad) when they want to. I know that I personally hate when my mom or MIL calls for news. *I* will tell them news when there is news. If I'm not telling them, it's either because there is none, or because I'm not ready to share it -- in either case, someone calling me to ask doesn't help.

Alissa- I agree with Christy - your picture is so lovely. I hope this gives you a sibling for your daughter! What made you decide to do fresh again instead of a FET with your frozen embryo? I must have missed that. We should be pretty much on the same schedule!

Whimsy - I'm sorry about the news that your brother and his wife are pregnant. I'm happy for them, but I know it's really hard to hear.

AFM - baseline showed a small cyst, but my hormone levels are low, so we are good to start! I start my Gonal-F today! Another check up on Thursday.

Hello Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA. Had a busy weekend. Hosted 4 teen age girls this weekend for a youth conference and they kept me pretty busy. Busy week ahead.

Leora- Congrats on AF showing up to get this party started. I hope all goes well.

Christy- Good luck tomorrow.......oops today with the transfer. It is 3:30 a.m. here and forgot it is today. Can't sleep. I hope the shots get better. My DH is great at giving them, but almost passes out after each one. He hates needles and I have never gave myself one. Our last cycle he paid my 17 year old a buck a shot so he did not have to do it. Anyways, I wish you all the luck in the world tomorrow and pray this is your turn to bring home a baby. :D :D

Blissful-A baby in a box is a new one for me. Love the IVF language. I have always had estrogen support as well. Good luck on getting started. Waiting on my box. Any day now.

WhimsyDae- Hate shopping for cars. We have to start that right after my transfer in April and think I will use my hormones as a way of getting out of that one.

Wendy- Welcome. I hope your two week wait flies by with positive results.

AFM- Busy with the teens and ready to get this week over with. I do have one bit of good news. My DD was accepted into the university she hoped for. She graduated HS in January early. I am excited for her. It will be a little stressful though since she leaves a few days after my transfer in April. Not sure how to do it all. DH says we should put her on a plane and let her sister get her settled since she is already there. Not sure I can do that. It is a 14 hour drive though and do not want to over stress during the 2WW. This is our last chance and have a lot invested in this cycle. When we planned this cycle I was not expecting her to leave so early, but it is a hard school to get into and they want her there early so off she goes.

Wishing all a good day and week ahead. Think I will try a little shut eye again.

Christy- thinking of you and hope it went well. Sorry I wasn't connected last night/this morning to cheer you on. You are PUPO by now I hope.

Leora- you didn't miss anything. I never really addressed it. I talked it over with RE and while he is still willing to transfer that one for free we felt my best odds were with a fresh cycle and we could consider that embie our potential "bonus" baby. I didn't respond as well at 35 to my second fresh cycle as I did at 34. Evelyn was from my first batch of embie and we kept her and 4 others around while we did another fresh thinking we would be going for two babies. When that second fresh was slightly less productive we went back to our frosties and the rest is history. So I guess what I am saying is, I am not getting any younger and I didn't want to waste the 2 to 3 months it would take to go through that natural cycle with the lower quality embie. I will be 37 on Friday.... ahhhh! Does all that make sense?

Suzyq- congrats on your DD and getting into the school of choice. I hope and pray you get to experience it again in about 18 years ;-)

AFM- some spotting this morning and a little bit tonight but not enough to be an official AF. I am betting tomorrow is the day though!

Made a fun and positive video for DD tonight. Today is the day my Dad past away from cancer 18 years ago and I am using it as an anniversary to remember to make a video for her every year. Shooting 5 to 10 minutes of video of all of us each year. We talked to her in this one for a few minutes but then sang a couple of her favorite songs and acted silly with her. I want the videos to be age appropriate so that if anything happens to one of us in the coming year she will have it and it will interest/comfort her. Hopefully we will be a hundred years old when we go and she will laugh at the 60 plus years of silliness, but just in case I want her to have something that speaks directly to her. I wish I had something like that tonight to remember my Dad, but since I don't I will just do it for her!
