Christy - PEE PEEE PEEE PEEEEEE PEEEE! :D -- why do you think it's highly unlikely to be positive? I think it will be! (Ok, I'm a bad influence. I totally understand waiting until beta, because if my pee sticks are negative, waiting for the final blood test results killlssss me for a few days, but I want to see your positive HPT already!)

horsecrazygirl -- let me guess... you like horses? :D Do you own any? I love riding, but strictly amateur (summer camp, work outings, that kinda thing!) Two cycles again, we had only one embryo to transfer, and we got a healthy baby boy out of it (unfortunately, he died in utero, but we don't know why). Fingers crossed for you!

Lacey - welcome!

SD - it still breaks my heart that you lost your little miracle baby. I hope that you get another one soon! (either on your own, or with this crazy IVF stuff)

AFM - stimming away. Today's check up went well - I continue my meds and go back on Tuesday. Follicles are about 10-12 mm - so hopefully ER in about a week! GAH!

Don't do it Christy! Stay in the non-POAS club. :-) I've got your back girl.LOL (sorry Leora). Sounds like you need a little IVF relief. Maybe you should take a break and do something fun like a movie/dinner or something. Whatever it takes to get back to yourself and free your mind up, do it. It's so hard to wait... So keep yourself busy. That works for me.

Stims are going well, definitely can feel my ovaries percolating.

Welcome Lacy!

Just getting back from church and we had communion today. I loved imagining Gods love coursing through my blood and into my reproductive system. Lol. I'm weird! But it gives me peace. SnS tomorrow at 8:30. Off to go cross country skiing. Have a great day!

This is such a cool forum... Thank you for all the info! I am getting ready to start IVF and really excited. I'm doing it a little different from most people on here, but I am confident my husband and I will be parents very soon.

To Everyone,
Thank you for the warm welcome! So we are just in the waiting game. First stimulation no response :? We start progesteron on the 28th than when my cycle starts, we will start stimulation the very next day max dose and than some, little nervous. I am really hoping for a good response or at least a response!!! I held my friends baby today, oh its a great feeling! I have 3 sisters with kids (they had no problem at all, lucky bitches  ) I have one sister with a 5 month old I asked her if I could buy him with the cost of the IVF instead! I tell myself "good things come to those who wait, and wait, and wait". Good vibes to everyone! :D

Hi everyone!!! Been busy writing a looooong paper for school... Grrrrr

Sunshine~ How are you holding up. I agree that you find something fun to take your mind off things. Is there something you really enjoy? I find just being outdoors helps me to relax. When I am home I tend to go online and obsess more  I also say... PEEEEEEEE!!!! I am going to :) Do you take progesterone shot either way? I have been on them since the day after my ET. :( My T&P are with you. How many embies did you transfer? That may be on another thread, but I didn't see it or forgot... sorry.

Leora~ Yes, I have two horses. It has been very difficult for me to stop riding (or only walk sometimes... my RE said that was ok). My horses are my emotional outlet and I love riding, but sacrifices must be made. I used to compete but mostly ride for pleasure now.

Leora & Bliss~ How do the stim meds make you guys feel? I had insane cramps for like 4 days!!! I swore I was in labor JK, but they were bad! Do you guys have that? Sending you guys lots of T&P for lots of follicles!!

BRodriguez~ Welcome!

Lacey~ Good things do come to those who wait... and it builds character!!! It really is difficult and not fun though!! The 28th seems so far away! You must be pretty anxious. My sister and my best friend are both 20+ weeks prego right now and I so want to join them!! I never thought it would be so much work! It seems like some people get pregnant if you look at them, and then there is us.... grrrr everything happens for a reason, right?

Hey ladies. Sorry, been MIA lately. I will catch up over the next few days on what's going on with everyone. Our house guests left on Friday....it was tearful and I am going to miss those kids(the parents and the kids). Nothing new with me other than continue with my estrogen patches and pills. I stopped my Lupron shots last Thursday. I have an appointment Wednesday for my SnS to make sure my lining and estrogen levels are good. Then, we will schedule the ET. I am still shooting for Monday the 11th. After my appointment Wednesday, I have to schedule the acupuncture appointments and all of that. I'm a little distracted so I'm not as obsessed with this cycle like I was with the others. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Anyways, I will read up on everyone and have personals later. Except......

Sunshine- So I am a POAS addict, but totally understand wanting to wait for the Beta....I'm just not that strong. And, once I start testing, I get a little crazy about it and will test multiple times per day.

Leora- your results are sounding good!

Leora- no pee pressure now not going to work!

Horseczygirl- We transfered two. Progesterone shots or Vaginal inserts the choice is really yours but I went with the shot this time and it's been a nighly torture with the longest needle. For some reason whenever I admin the shot on the right side I'm fine but on the left side--I walk around like a crippled person the next day. So I did the shot on the right side 3 days in a row well Saturday night it hurt so much I took the needle out and started to bleed profusely, I must had hit a vein. Dh heard me crying came in and helped me, he likes to feel needed so it all worked out. But those PIO I thought by now I would be used to them...and not getting bruised and walking like a crippled old hormonal lady.

Thanks ladies for cheering me on..It will be Thursday evening around 10CT before I can post the results, but I might have someone who can post the news over here for me. I'm treating it like an ordinary day, getting up at 6am drive to the clinic in Gulf Breeze, Alabama get back into town by 12 for lunch, and head straight into work. I'm glad to see this board continuing to be active so much is going on right now. Anyway I'll be reading along and posting as much as I can without going into crazytown. Christy

It's fun to hear all the different opinions about the two week wait. I don't know where I'll stand on it all since I haven't done it yet.

Suzyq- I had to laugh about you getting all your drugs organized since you'll start the lupron the same time I will. I've been busy calling a bunch of the pharmacies and pricing out the drugs. Actually I'm just having the prescriptions sent out today so I probably won't have the lupron until just before I need to start the shots. Guess you could call me a procrastinator.

I went in last Thursday and had the hsg xray done. Everything looks good and the tubes are even clear for all the good that does on an ivf cycle. Just waiting till next week to start the lupron. On the lighter side of things, I got to celebrate my husband's birthday and have a carefree weekend. Sending everyone thoughts and prayers.

Saria- you cracked me up with your comment about the tubes...gotta love it! Glad you enjoyed some relaxing time with DH, that is more important now than ever. Let me be the first official person to try to recruit you to the non POAS club. Those other ladies are serious stick pushers!!! Always trying to bring in new recruits to share in their little addiction. Seriously? I just am not emotionally strong enough for the BFNs that could be wrong... or the BFPs that could also be wrong. I think if it were up to me I would just be PUPO until I needed to break out the maternity wear. :-)

Christy- I am glad you are feeling better and staying so strong! I gotta tell you I watched the board to see how you were feeling all weekend. I will anxiously watch the computer this Thursday night and just have a very good feeling about this for you.

Leora- you are going to be the lead batter next week! Confirmed today that ER will be Monday at the earliest which means transfer will be Wednesday. I think it may be even later since things have slowed down. RE is keeping me on same level of stims for the next three nights which is unprecedented in my history. Next scan is Thursday. Of course with you doing a 5 day and me doing a 2 day we could end up PUPO at about the same time.

Horsecrazy- I never really had cramps before, but this time I have. I am also VERY bloated and couldn't even zip my jeans this morning. I think I am "showing" more since I had a baby. The pain is not too intense though, just uncomfortable and sensitive. What is the paper and what are you going to school for? I am just finishing up a 3 year bank specific program at the end of July and wrote one paper pregnant and one with a baby. Good times! Hope you have the same challenges soon.

LauraN- I finally got pregnant with my Evelyn on the "I don't give a $hit anymore" cycle. I seriously only went through the cycle because we had frosties. I was ready to move on to adoption. I think not being obsessed is a good thing (says the lady who has been posting and researching every night since her baseline! :-)

Welcome BRodriguez! It is a cool forum and has been a lifesaver for me through many tough and happy times. Sucks that we are here at all but at least we are here together with some of the most amazing people I know!

Lacey- You have a good attitude about being around other kids. I was always the same way. It was hard sometimes before I had my own but I always thought of it as "embracing my auntiness" and being part of the village raising the children around me if I couldn't have my own. I hope and pray you are holding your own soon though!

Wishing- a natural pregnancy??? AWESOME! So happy for you.

AFM- thing are going well. 7 follies at the scan today with 2 to 3 more that have potential. Staying on a higher dose at 300 until next scan on Thursday. So bloated this time that my clothes barely fit. Looks like ER will be Monday at the earliest which bums me out a bit because my AP in Grand Rapids can't be there for the transfer on Wednesday. I also have to go to Grand Rapids for a scan on Saturday which is 3 1/2 hours away because there is nobody here locally who can monitor. Whatever it takes though! Happy with how things are progressing.

Sarah2003- Glad we will be going through this together. We can sweat out the hot flashes from the lupron together. Night sweats are a killer though. I do get a little testy on the stuff. Hopefully you will not have the side effects.

Christy- Glad you have Thursday off. Enjoy the day, hair cut, and time with your friend. Just keep busy and make it a normal day. I try to do things as normal as possible in the tww. Luckily my clinic test after 9 days so it is not as long a wait.

Blissful- Grow those follies. Let that spirit keep you peaceful and happy to grow baby grow.

LauraN- Distractions are good. Sounds like your cycle is underway. I hope all goes well for you and this little one digs in nice and tight. Good luck.

AFM- Busy week. Babysitting a playmate of DS tomorrow. That will keep him entertained. Have a little PJ party for my 8-11 year old church class of 15 girls to prepare for this Saturday. Then Sunday night we leave for Disney land for a few days and to see my oldest two stepdaughters. That will keep me busy.

Cristie- Disneyland, the sleepover with 15 kids sounds like soooo much fun. I wish I lived in Cali so I could help you with them. Back in my old days, my bf and I used to have Mother's Day Out events with our neighborhood kids and we planned so many entertaining fun games I think we enjoyed it more then the kids lol. Enjoy seeing your step-daughters, I like to hear more about your girls. I was dissappointed Annabelle couldn't visit since she will be at her dad's this weekend but her mom has her next week for Springbreak and we can hang out all day. She talked about working on our patchwork quilt, she's so excited and serious about donating this to a cancer patient. My clinic test 10 days after 5 day transfer but like you said I will make it normal as possible. Last time I did test the morning of so I knew what to expect, but after bw I still went down to the restroom and cried I knew that cycle was over. This time I'm not going to do that, I'm going to be stronger and not waste my money on pee sticks. Trust me though there are days I'm very tempted to go out and buy some, but we've been down that road already, either way I'm prepared and maybe knowing there will be other cycles helps me emotionally know it's not over.

Alissa- Some are Poas queens but if someone could put us in comas for 9 months I think this world would be a happier place. Sounds like things are progressing, talk to the belly and let's keep those follibabies growing! Monday cannot come soon enough, neither can Thursday lol I know we'd whether wake up with a baby in our arms.

Sarah- Glad your husband had a nice birthday and you had a well deserved relaxxing weekend! My hubby's birthday is in 3 weeks I'm trying to find orginal ideas..one of my neighbors asked me if I was going to throw a bbq get-together for him this year. But with everything going down at the college I think he would prefer to keep it quiet. Would be weird to ask only the neighbors to come when we usually have all his faculty friends over too. And one of the neighbors actually works at the college where dh works so it would be weird. With teaching budget cuts, 12 postions were cut last Spring. After much heartache and people who love him, dh was granted one last year with his contract so he could have time to get on his feet. Sorry I didn't mean to get into all that but his birthday reminds him about this time last year when it all happened. I would plan a vacation somewhere to get away but we're on a tight budget right now.

LauraN- I say distraction is the only thing that keeps us from going into crazytown. I'm glad you are finding ways to relax, how are you liking acupuncture?

BR and Lacey- Welcome you found a world of support here!

AFM: 48 hours away until beta, but the good news is the girls at worked switched with me and I have Thursday off now. I will be 4 hours away from my home computer so I will chat as soon as I get home. If it's really good news I will ask someone to post it on here for me lol but if not I figure the news can wait.

Sunshine~ Sounds like you did hit a blood vessel or something! Good thing you DH rushed in to save the day :) I have been doing the PIO for at little over a week now. They actually don't bother me as much as the SQ shots. Those would sting going in and one gave me a localized rash! I am impressed that you are not going to POAS, I don't know if I can hold out until Sunday!!
Bliss~ I got bloated as well and had to unzip my pants! I am right there with you. I felt as big as my sister who is 22 weeks (first try naturally of course). I am glad you hear you worked on school work with a baby and pregnant, that must have been challenging. The PIO makes me sooo sleepy. I am a nurse and working on my BSN, so lots of papers to write.

ANYONE~ How early can I POAS post 3dt??? (Not saying I am going to... just in case...)

Horsecrazy...It's not the first week of PIO that hurts. It's the next week, and the next week....and when you are pregnant I can't even imagine! I love crinone. :-) Dangerous POAS question you are asking... like an innocent teenager away at college for the first time saying "just what does beer taste like anyway???" The next thing you know you that innocent kid is doing a keg stand screaming "wooooohoooo" in a "Girls Gone Wild" commercial. :P  Be very careful...

Seriously- everyone is different. Some find solace and an outlet in peeing I guess...and I respect that!

Bliss~ OH NO! They get worse!! I know I get pretty sore after, but they still don't hurt as bad as those stim meds going in. You still didn't answer my question.. What's the soonest I could POAS??? LOL Not saying I'm going to, but just in case
