Sorry I haven't been on here much. I've got a question for anyone who's taken lupron. I've experienced extreme nausea (been going on since Monday) and had a long night of puking and diarrhea. Yesterday I still had the nausea but it wasn't so pronounced so I thought maybe I had just gotten the stomach flu I know is making the rounds. But today all the nausea and diarrhea has returned. So my question is whether you think this may be drug side effects (nausea became extreme the same time as starting lupron) or did I just get unlucky and catch a really nasty version of the stomach flu?

I've never experienced that from lupron. Probably a bug but always a safe bet to ask RE.

sorry I was MIA - it was my MIL's 60th birthday and we all went away for the weekend. We had to duck out on Friday to go to the hospital for our transfer, but everyone understood.

We transferred 1 blastocyst and had and extra one to freeze! WhooohooO!

Beta is a week from today, but I'll POAS Friday (12dpER). Weekends here in Israel are Fri-Sat, so this way, I'll get a whole 48 hours to cry and crawl into bed before I have to be at work Sunday morning, if this is BFN.

I'm really really trying not to think about it. 5 more days!

Hello Ladies,
Sorry I have been MIA. I did get to check in a few times the past week on FB. Disneyland was wonderful and a great distraction.

Trisha- Welcome to this great group of ladies.

Sunshine-So happy things are going well, minus the lump. Rest and take care of that little one. Glad you like it here too. I love both groups, but sometimes need the personal attention here.

Nicole- So glad to hear the natural cycle is going well. I pray this is your time.

Blissfulcs- Congrats on being PUOP. Sounds like you put in some beauties.

Leoria- Glad you were able to get away and enjoy family. Friday will be here before you know it and hopefully you will get a strong BFP. Start strong and stay strong this time. XXXX

Sariah- Sorry for the nausea. That is awful. I usually get hot flashes, no sex drive, and cranky with lupron. Hopefully it is just a bug.

I know I did not get everyone, but I will try tomorrow. Wish you all the joy in the world today.

AFM- I am exhausted. Had to be up at 5 to catch our flight. Did not want to leave Cali. The weather was beautiful last week. Spent 3 days at Disneyland. Thought DS would be too young at 22 mths but he loved it. He never gave us one fit the whole trip. Started Lupron on Tuesday and ended BCP on Saturday. I have my first stick and stir this Thursday. Just want the next 4 weeks to fly by. Pray my little DE defrost and fertilize on April 8th. Then transfer on the April 11 or 13th. I am hoping for the 13. Sounds lucky to me for some reason. Not sure if transferring 1 or 2. We will go with RE's recommendation. All for now. Take care ladies. :D

Yay for getting going suzyq!!! Glad that you were able to let loose and enjoy some time in Disneyland.

Leora- I am so excited for you! So jealous you will know so soon. My embabies haven't even implanted yet and Beta is not until a week from Tuesday. I know it doesn't feel soon to you though!

Alisa - that's one thing I love about day 5 transfers -- beta is so much sooner! Don't know why, but I always feel like the time the embryos are growing in the lab doesn't count as part of the 2ww. My 2ww is the same as yours, but thank goodness I'm almost done with mine! 4 more 'sleeps' and then I can wake up and POAS!

Suzy- Are you okay with having twins? If so, then I would transfer 2. We are only allowed to transfer 1 at at time and it annoys me, but we definitely don't want twins a third time! I hope these 4 weeks go fast for you! I remember setting up my ticker, knowing I was starting Lupron and had about 5 weeks to go until beta -- and now that's less than a week away! So this cycle went fast for me :)

have a great day everyone :)

Leora- did you end up going with just one crinone a day? I was going to respond to your question about it on FB but everyone else had already answered. In past cycles I have taken one in the morning and one at night. This cycle they didn't start me until 2dpo and only one per day. I asked the RE and he said they just started doing that, they found a later start led to increased impantation rates and that in a fresh cycle its really just precautionary because you should produce plenty of progesterone. Still its just weird! We get so used to medicating so much and then when its stops it feels like we should be more "involved" in the process.

Alisa- My doctor confirmed only one Crinone 8% a day. I started the day after ER. I've always taken Prometrium (200mg X 3/day). The Crinone is soooo much neater and easier! I wish I had done this YEARS ago! :D

I'm a worry wart though, and afraid that it's not enough, so I have some leftover Prometriums -- I'm taking one of those before bed (and the Crinone in the morning)

well - just got bad news from my doctor. We didn't get any to freeze. On Friday, during transfer, we thought we had one to freeze and maybe a few more -- but even the one we thought we could freeze didn't make it to freeze. So no 'back up' at this point....

Yay! I finally got the all clear to start my cycle and I get to lower the dose of my lupron (hopefully that takes care of the nausea side effect). My blood work and ultrasound looked good so I start the follistim and such tomorrow. Excited to finally feel like I'm actually doing something.

Leorira- sorry about your news. Hopefully your beta will be positive.

Suzyq- I'm so glad you're timing is going to be close to mine. It'll be reassuring to have someone to talk to.

Horseczygirl- How did your RE consultation appt go today? Thinking of you and hope he gave you newfoundhope.

Leora- Crinone is easier? I know one brand I previously had would crumble before I even had a chance to "consume" them. I hope you can find some relaxation during this cycle and ease your mind a little, I know it's hard to stay calm trust me I know, I'm on edge it seems everyday but must know we are doing everything we can. X

Blissy- Next week will be a big week around here, how exciting! We're on the countdown train wahoooo! How are you feeling?

Suzyq- I agree we can be more personal about stuff here and ranble away like I tend to do lol. Glad you had a great trip to Cali. Sounds like things are moving along with you and the injections...Cannot wait for April to get here!

Blueeyedreamer- Sounds like MS has been kicking your butt. How are you doing this week?

AFM: sorry I haven't posted much lately, been wild over here. My 2 aunts came down with my cousin and he brought a friend...lol we all went to the beach during Spring Break in Pncy and watched all the teens with their juice swashers. One asked us to watch their stuff for 20 minutes and I turned around asked that guy can we have a beer in exchange of watching his things so he handed me a Miller Light and I passed it to my aunt linda and she got a kick out of that since she had been eyeing his beer the whole time. lol The beach was packed, but this was free entertainment. We took the kiddos to play putt-putt and went out to a local seafood restaurant. I'm really worn out today kicked my butt. Two more sleeps until our next appt, P4 and estrogen checks and then we wait until the 27th for our first ultrasound. Praying we make it that far to hear the heartbeat, it will be an emotional day to say the least.

Leora- No I really do not want twins, but want my chance to be high since I told my DH this was the last cycle. I am just getting too old and had a rough pregnancy with DS. I might give in though if this does not work. Sorry you did not get any embies to freeze. Hopefully you will not need them.

Christy- I am so jealous you are in Panama City. I was there years ago when my brother graduated from flight school at FT. Rucher, AB. It was a blast. Hope your bum gets the feeling better. Keep smiling and enjoying your pregnancy.

Blissfullcs-Thank you so much. It is great to be started. How are you feeling? PUOP!!!!!!

Sariah- So glad you are on your way. Talk away girl. We are here to listen. Hopefully your nausea will ease up, but keep on the look out for other side effects. I usually have a hard time sleeping with Lupron, but it has been better this time.

Blueeyedreamer- Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Horsecrazygirl-Looking forward to hearing good things from your RE.

AFM- Ready for Thursdays stick and stir and hopefully estrogen patches will start Friday. Tummy is quite bruised this time, but will survive. Just showing my badge of courage this time. :P
