Cristie- Awesome that baseline went well. It will be here before you know it! So excited for you! I am praying you have a much easier pregnancy this time around.

Leora- Its 3 AM here so you are just a few hours away from POAS. I am praying so hard you get your BFP.

Sunshine- hope the pregnancy is going well. I am counting down to your ultrasound with you... I just know it is going to be great. Hope your hips are feeling better. Yes, I agree with Leora. Crinone is easier. I haven't had it crumble, ever. Maybe you had a bad batch.

Nicole- Natural cycle sounds wonderful. Not long before transfer. I will be thinking of you.

Sariah- hope you are feeling better and are ready to devote all your energy into getting pregnant! Unlike most women I have never noticed any kind of reaction to lupron at all.

Laura N- thinking of you my dear and hope you get a pleasant surprise.

AFM- I am so nervous! Evelyn has eye surgery tomorrow. She was born with a blocked tear duct that never opened on its own. A pediatric ophthalmologist is opening it for her tomorrow. The surgery itself is quick and simple but she has to go under and I can't be with her. I am worried that it will be awful and scary for her and she won't trust me anymore! I know its crazy but I am afraid this is going to change her somehow. She is only 14 months old and I just hate the idea of her being alone. The doc is a great friend of ours, our age with kids a little older than Evelyn. He has assured me that it is far better not to see your little one go under... its freaky. We have to be there at 7:15 and its two hours away. So pray for us on what is going to be a LONG day.

At least I won't be thinking about whether or not I am pregnant for a little while tomorrow. LOL. That is totally why I scheduled it this week. I had a choice.

I am so tired, not sleeping well at all. Tonight I am also a little nauseous. During my last pregnancy I was crazily tired so I am hoping that is a good sign. Can't wait until next week!!!!

Alisa- so glad surgery went well - and beta is in 4 days! Mine is in two days!

AFM -- POAS this morning.... BFP. GAH! I don't know what to think. This will be my sixth pregnancy... and I'm still waiting for a baby. But excited today, and trying to focus on the fact that although a BFP is scary, a BFN would suck so much more.

Leora- Congrats again on your BFP. While I don't personally have anything like the experience you have, I do understand the fear. Allow yourself to be happy today! It is an important step to delivering a perfect and healthy baby. We are all praying for you. WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I just sat down after cleaning while my little patient slept and guess who is crying? LOL. Happens every time!

Hi, I am brand new to IFV. I am on Day 5 of my drug protocols and I am currently taking .2ml of Lupron morning and night, and 2 days ago added Follistim in the morning and Menopur in the evening. Lupron has caused some mild headaches, but the most pronounced have been the shooting pains in my lower abdomen that started this morning. I assume it is the cyst on my ovary, but I don't know. I go back in tomorrow for another ultrasound and estradiol check when they may change my dose of Follistim. This process has been difficult, our journey getting to ivf has been long and we will not know until egg retrieval if my husband even has sperm. Taking a big leap of faith!

Welcome TinaLou! I'm glad you jumped on in...and I like how you keep your siggie updated so we can keep track of where you are in this cycle. So true we must take a leap of faith to make your dream happen. It took me nearly 3 yrs and I am thinking is this really happening? But all we can do is take it one day at a time. I look forward to getting to know you and cheer you on in this cycle. The best thing about IVF is they use ICSI to pierce the eggs with the best looking sperm making your embibabies. We had two fresh cycles but when we finally tried the frozen (FET) cycle we had success. How are you getting adjusted to the meds, are you using an ice pack to numb the area down first? Trips to the clinic are relatively simple. Laying in stir-ips for an ultrasound to measure follicles and check the lining to try to get it at the right thickness. Taking b/w to making sure your estrogen levels and progesterone levels are good. Monitoring you with appts at least 6 times to make sure the meds are working in the best possible way, But the best advice I can give you: It's going to happen when you least expect it to...when the car breaks down and you have to spend $1400 in repairs that will be the day you hear good news. lol

Leora and Alisa I am stalking you both for betas, I can hardly wait!!
Alisa how did the eye surgery go?

Cristie- Yes Panama City is a huge military based town. I never knew that until we moved down here 5 yrs ago. Where is your brother residing now?

AFM: Nothing new, stopped spotting last week, I think it was a break-through light bleed from AF bc I normally cycle around that time bc it stopped I am not worrying. My hips are still bothersome, I use the heating pad 3x a day. Dh's birthday is tomorow, Sunday. We definately need to make an attempt to attend church we have much to pray about this coming week and we don't get to go often bc of my job. I'll have Annabelle on Monday to keep me preoccupied and then work one more day on Tuesday and spend that night in Gulf Breeze for our first baby ultrasound on Wednesday morning at 8:15am. I pray there is a heartbeat, we need our luck to finally change.

Thanks for your encouraging words Sunshine. My husband had semen analysis 10 years ago when we tried IUI. He had very low count at the time and we tried a supplement to increase the count, it did, barely. 3 IUIs were unsuccessful. Fast Forward 10 years and we are going for IVF, husband has new semen analysis and now has no sperm. Husband will have MESA after my egg retrieval.

TinaLou- I Just got your message, that is pretty tough to take in...I wonder why they couldn't have the surgery done before you go in for retrieval? If they are afraid the quality wouldn't be as strong using them frozen? Do they have a backup plan, such as maybe freezing the eggs? Regardless I pray this all works out, we know medical science has advanced so much in the last 30 yrs making your miracle possible. All we can do is lean on faith and pray that everything works out. I wish you the best and will be following you in your journey.

well... bad news. My blood test came back at 17.6. That's my lowest beta ever. At 14dpo, my beta should be closer to 100, or at least 50. So I'm pregnant, but most likely going to miscarry.

I'm just so frustrated abuot the HPTs though. I've had "beta hell" (low betas - waiting to see if they'll rise) twice before -- my beta at 14dpo was 25-30ish. One was my chemical pregnancy and the other was my baby boy. With both of them, my pregnancy tests had VERY VERY VERY faint lines.

This time, my lines on my pregnancy tests are so clear and strong - I was so sure that my beta would be high and strong today. I don't understand.

Next blood test on Wednesday.

Okay, I just had my first u/s and bloodwork since I started stimms. Right ovary had 4 follies and one cyst. Left ovary has vanished. Nurse then doc looked and could not find it. Does this happen?

Then they tell me I have fluid in my uterus. I am on my period now so doc said it could be a clot, but won't know until my appt. on Tuesday. Pray for me.
