2WW

Post by Melbro10 »

Hello
I am new on here, in my first IVF cycle. I was just wondering if anyone is in the 2ww or any advise on how to get threw this time?
I have 2 daughters concieved nauturally(from a previous relationship), I have never had fertility issues so thought I would get threw this easily but I have found the waiting and uncertainty to be very challenging. I had 7 eggs retrieved, 4 mature and those 4 fertilized. Our plan was 1 5 day blasto but with such few numbers we transfered 2 at day 3 (10B and 8B). ET was 3/23, go for beta on 4/3. Not sure how I am going to make the wait.
Anyone do htp before beta test?
Any first time day3 transfer success stories?
Anyone on the same cycle?
Trying to keep positive.

Melbro10- The 2ww is agonizing. Stay busy and keep your mind off it as much as possible. I try to get a new book and read when I have any down time. I personally do not POAS. They scare the crap out of me. I have a DS from my first IVF cycle at 42 years of age. Had a m/s with a FET last Sept. Now will be using DE this cycle due to age of 44. He was a 5dt. I will transfer on 4/11 or 13. You are welcome to come join us on the 2013 board. Lots of wonderful ladies there.

I wish you the best of luck.

If I was in your position, I might start testing on the last day of March. If it's negative at first, don't let it get you down.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Hi Melbro10,

We have the exact same ET and Beta date. I was hoping to go to day 5 too but did a day three of 3 Embies.. 8B,7B,6B. I am home on bedrest as my RE requested for 4 days. This is tough. I know exactly how you feel!! :)

Melbro10,
You are not alone!! I'm also on the same cycle with ET (on day 5, 1 blastocyst, 1 cleaved) on 3/24/13. I had 19 eggs retrieved, 16 mature, 14 fertilized. My beta is scheduled for 4/3 and I received a call today from the nurse that 0 eggs were frozen, so imagine what my mind is going through right now. I'm trying to remain calm :-), I wish you the best!!!

Hello everyone!!

This is my first time on this board I am 4dp5dt. Two blastocysts. I am curious to see if anyone else had light bleeding starting 2dp5dt? I spoke with re office yesterday and she keeps saying its normal. Today it is more red than the previous days. Look ing for reassurance:)
This 2ww feel is like a month.
Beta 4/19:)

Amy317: I had some bleeding for several days after my transfer. They said it was normal. I go on Friday also for my beta. I have managed to not POAS so far. I hope you are starting to feel better at this point.
