So I haven't posted since my BFN, but I have been stalking all of you. It really is comforting to know that I am not the only person in the world dealing with this. I love hearing the success stories. I start stims tomorrow for cycle #3. I am trying to stay positive and I didn't realize how hard that would be after a BFN. I'm not sure how many more cycles we are going to be able to afford, so I am extremely hopeful that thirds a charm!

IVF #1 12/12 - cancelled, under-stim
IVF #2 1/13 - 3 ER, 2 embies w/ICSI, 2 ET, BFN

Sunshine- I really hope you get to switch over after your U/S on Wednesday. I am sure that little one is growing just fine.

Melissa- Sorry again about your BFN, but glad you are moving forward. I know how this can all really affect the pocket book. We had to wait 6 months for this DE cycle. It was a killer. Good luck on the stims and I pray you get lots of mature follies.

Leora-I am hoping for the best for you. Hugs girl. You are way tougher than I could ever be.

Blissful-No stimming here. Pretty much a standard FET cycle, but using frozen DE.

Sdtryingagain- Large va jay jay is a new one on me. Good luck trying it naturally.

AFM- RE did the thaw of DE today. DH went in for his part. He always feels like he is cheating making his donation. Will hear fertilization report tomorrow and find out if ET is Wednesday or Saturday. I hope Saturday. I prefer 5 day blast. Just a gut feeling. Took first PIO last night. My E2 level was 259 yesterday so all is a go. So I will be PUOP sometime this week. Just trying not to over think this whole thing and take it easy.

Cristie- good luck on your fert report tomorrow!!! Can't wait to hear how it goes.

Christy- that is such a sad and sweet story. Yes, I am the oldest of 4 so the whole sibling thing is an important one. We will adopt an older child if it comes to that though. This little girl will have a sibling! Hope it is one of our own but we will give it our best and move on in a year if it doesn't work out. We are 100% out of pocket and while we still have the means to keep going into round 6 (third FET) it is wearing on us financially and emotionally.

Leora- good luck to you tomorrow too! Big day full of great news around here I hope!

Latest update-Think I am a little excited. Fert report is in. We defrosted 6 DE. All survived with 4 fertilizing. RE said 4 is the goal and all look great. . Will call me tomorrow with embryo report and whether we transfer on Thursday or Saturday. More waiting. Not sure where I got Wednesday the other day.

Christy- Good luck tomorrow. I am praying you will see a strong little one.

I went to RE today and start stims and DHEA today. Next appt is Saturday to check on follies. I am very hopeful that I respond better this go round!

gestational sac grew to 10mm, but nothing inside. No yolk sac, no fetal pole, no heartbeat. My beta is over 10,000 - so we should see something.

Now we wait, but it's most likely a blighted ovum.

Next scan on Thursday.

Leora- I am so sorry you are going through this. The road has been very tough for you. Prayers and lots of hugs.

Melissa-Yea!!! You are moving forward. I hope they see lots of follies on Saturday. Just don't grow too fast to avoid the OHS. Will be waiting for your report. Keep your spirits up. I too prefer Saturday ET. RE has recommended 2, but said that could change to 1 if they give me high odds like with DS.

Blissful- I have not moved to the dark side of POAS. I did with my 2 IUIs and the BFNs were heartbreaking. So with IVF I have not and had better luck. I find it better to put the whole thing out of my mind and stay busy.

AFM-Will up date later when I hear. I am up early to meet the installers of our new glass shower in the apt over our garage we added. My dear friends DD is getting married in Logan, Utah next week and then coming to Seattle for another reception and we are letting the honeymooners stay up there. Oh to be young again. Will also keep me busy during the 2ww helping with the reception.

Baby Gattis is measuring 2cm the size of a gummy bear, hb today 184. 9 weeks along today...Cannot believe after everything we went through this is finally happening! I know we aren't out of the woods yet but it beats my first pg when we m/c at 6 weeks, 5 days I still have that in the back of my mind, yet everyday I am thankful to have another day. Michael couldn't make it so the tech made him a baby video. We go back on May 2nd, but still I haven't been released from the RE, my next appt with the clinic is 4/17. I like how they monitor so much and don't quickly throw me in to the wolves.

Christy- YEA!!!!!!!!!! That is super. You are on your way to a healthy wonderful pregnancy with the prize at the end of a beautiful babe.

AFM- Nurse called and said we are transferring tomorrow. That is a 3dt. She said we had 3 fair and 1 good embryo so they want to get it in as soon as possible. This really freaked me out. Not sure why. I have been a wreak all day waiting on the call. Having the shower people here made it worse since I could not get out and it poured all day. Felt like a caged lion. I think my M/C in Sept. has scared me forever. I will get the full report at 9:30 tomorrow to see what is going on. I need to stay positive. Went through all kinds of scenarios in my head. Not a good idea.

Alright I am going to take a sleeping pill and try to hold it together.

I have an OB appt on Monday. We'll do another u/s to confirm and then discuss the options. The main options are (1) D&C (2) misoprostol (medication to induce a miscarriage) (3) wait for the miscarriage to happen on it's own.

A D&C is easiest emotionally. I go in for surgery and when I come out it's all over. But this would be my 5th D&C and that's not so good.

I really don't think I can handle waiting it out, so I think I'm going to ask for a medically induced miscarriage.

This sucks.

Our next step is CCS-normal donor embryos. Hopefully we can do a donor FET by my birthday in July (that's my goal!)

Hi ladies,

It's been quite some time since I have posted here. I've kept up with some of you over on the FB board. Just wanted to pop in and say hello and let you know that I think of you guys all the time. As always, I continue praying that all your dreams come true. This journey can be so very difficult miracles do happen. When you hold your little miracle/s in your arms you'll know that it was all worth it. The joy my girls have brought me is unmeasurable. I pray for the same joy for each of you everyday.

Leora, Hun I am so very sorry you are going through this again. Sending you many prayers. I hope that you and your OB can decide on a plan that is best for you both physically and emotionally. Sending you a big hug...

Had our ET yesterday, 2 pretty blasts. The embryologist brought us a wonderful picture. One was a c/d and the other a b/c. The b/c blast had shrunk down when she took the picture. when we went in for transfer several hours later she said it had plumped back up so she tried to take another pic but they refused to stay close enough to get them both, so just took a pic of the one that had plumped Back up. We have 5 more they are watching for possible freezing. Now I am on the second 24 hours of bed rest. Never thought being lazy could be so hard!
