Hello all,
I am new to the forum. This is my second attempted IVF. This time we had an ICSI. This cycle I have been pretty much chest sore since the beginning of the fostimon shots. After retrieval (when I started the progesterone 3xday) I added bloating and cramping to the mix. I had a 3dt and continued cramping and severe breast tenderness until about 7dpt. Day 7 I noticed I felt so much better. Now I am at 10dpt (with a negative HPT just taken!) and I am still symptom free. I never thought I would be disappointed to not have my breasts throbbing and my abdominal area feeling swollen like a balloon. Has anyone experienced a loss of symptoms in their second week of the 2WW and still had a pregnancy?

There are typically no symptoms of early pregnancy. Breast tenderness is a side effect of progesterone.
Your HPT is more meaningful, but not yet conclusive because you are only 10dp3dt.

Welcome, Colette, come join us over on the group thread. So many women start here with the same type of questions you are asking. Since all the supplemental hormones can mimic pregnancy it is so hard to trust our symptoms during the 2ww. Some women how tons of symptoms, others have none and some have them come and go. Your hpt was very early and hopefully is a false negative. Hang in there! When is your beta?
Me/DH 36
1 tube/low morph
TTC since 2008 only one spontaneous in 2012
Ivf 1-1/2009 DS
FET- miscarried
Ivf 2.- 10/11 DS
12/12 miscarried (spontaneous pregnant, so cliche minus the miscarriage part)
Now--- back to TTC at home in hopes for a final addition
Thanks ladies. I will join the other thread too. I am doing my IVF in France so the terminology isn't the same. Is the BETA the blood test for the HCG levels? It's due on Friday. But I don't think it's looking very optimistic for me this time. I took a first thing in the morning HPT now 11dpt and it's negative. It may be still too early, but the odds aren't really in my favor! I'm gonna' try and forget about it for the 48 hours. TRY!!

Yes.
It's called a "beta test" because the hCG protein has two arms, the alpha arm and the beta arm. The alpha arm is shared with several other hormones, so a test of the alpha arm would detect things besides hCG. The test for the beta arm of hCG is specific to hCG. Hence, the pregnancy test is often called "beta hCG test" or just "beta".
