Hi ladies! I am new to this site and am feeling very happy to have found a place to get some support. I have a natural daughter that is 8 from a previous marriage. My new hubby and I are really wanting to have a precious little of our own. All of his levels are fantastic but my AMH is very low. I did however, respond really well to the clomid and injectible medication I took for my IUI cycles. We have one shot at IFV because if the incredible cost. I don't know how y'all do it several times. We will start with the birth control regiment at the end of this month. BTW...what is the deal with having to do birth control first? I'm wanting to feel hopeful but I was deflated after our FS gave us the percentages of success (40%). Have any of you done the pregenetic testing with your IVF cycles? I was told by my FS that it can increase your chances of pregnancy. Any insight on how to stay sane during this process would be greatly appreciated! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your stories. This is not a journey to be done alone!

Oral contraceptives are used to get the patient's cycle on a predictable schedule.
Pre-implantation genetic screening of embryos might improve the pregnancy rate per transfer, by removing the bad embryos from the transfer. But it might not improve the rate per retrieval if one considers fresh transfer followed by frozen-thaw transfers if the fresh transfer fails.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
