Alisa: I know that the wait until your next beta must be so tough. I went through the "iffy beta" wait on my first cycle. I am confident though that your little one will catch up on Tuesday

Dawn: How is your 2ww going?

Right now I'm 6dp5pt with my "early blastocysts". This morning, when I went to the bathroom and wiped, there was a spot of blood. Not brown, tan, or even light pink, but bright red, which makes me nervous. The next time I went to the bathroom, nothing, but then following that, there was some red "streaking" in mucus when I wiped, and a tiny brown spot. The next time I went to the bathroom, when I wiped it was just tinged slightly, very light pink. I called the office and spoke to the on-call doctor, who, coincidentally, was my RE. He didn't seem overly reassuring, but said as long as it doesn't get worse, then to just come in for my Beta as scheduled on Wednesday. If it was brown spotting, I wouldn't feel as nervous, and might even be hopeful that it was implantation spotting. However, with what I've seen today, I can't help but be very worried. Does anyone have any insight to this, or know someone who has had similar symptoms, with positive outcomes? I also don't know if I should POAS or not? I really do want to wait for my Beta, but with all of this going on, I just don't know if I can :?

Thanks in advance for all of your responses!

~ Lindsay
I just know you are going to be fine. I bled with my 8DS for 3 days in my 1st month. He's healthy and happy! I just know that your cramping and bleeding is your little one digging in for the long haul!!! I have cramped the whole time and spotted and coughed my brains out since I have pneumonia and my little one/ones decided to dig in and ride the roller coaster!!! LOL!!!! I have faith that your little one is doing the same!!!!

BlissfulCS/Alisa-BFP !st BETA-60, Second BETA-100, and waiting on results from today. Girl you will be just fine. :D
Amandah2013/Amanda-BFP. First U/S 5/28 Congrats girl! :D
Suzyq/Cristie-9 weeks 2 days pregnant. See OB tomorrow.

Dawn-Thanks Dawn for the last update. Just had a few more bits of info to add. :) So sorry to hear you are so sick. Take care of yourself and drink a ton. That little emby is strong and will survive mom's illness. Congrats on the BFP! Super excited for you.

Lindsay- I have heard and read many stories with successful pregnancy with bleeding. With DS I bleed from weeks 10-13 with bright red to brown spotting and he turned 2 last Wednesday. Alisa is right that it is way more common in IVF. Hugs and prayers.

Alisa- Good luck girl. I updated from our FB page. HOpe that is okay? Wishing you big doubling vibes today. You will be just fine. It is high time you are able to relax and enjoy this pregnancy.

Kristy- So exciting to get your calendar. Sounds like your ovaries are raring to go. The 3 day verses the 5 day is hard to say. Most do clinics do a 3 when the RE can pick out a distinct leader and a 5 day when it they are all close. I did a 5 day with DS and a 3 day with this pregnancy. I only had 4 eggs by day three and we took the best 2. None made it to freezing so it was the right choice. My clinic said the get them back in as soon as possible too. Mommy is best. I am sure your RE will do what is best at the time. Congrats on again on getting your calendar and can't wait to get the party started.

AFM- Friday's U/S went well. HB was 179 and right on for growth. Now to wait till Wednesday. I have been a little bummed here with the weather. We had two weeks of sun and now back to the rain and cold. I am so sick on the NW. Miss the south and heat. Sun will not be out till Friday. Hope I do not turn into a hermit by then.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement, but unfortunately my hope has severely dwindled. When I woke up this morning, I was bleeding heavily, and have continued to all day. I took another HPT, and although the second line eventually showed up, it was even fainter than the last one. I called my clinic and they let me come in for my Beta a day early, which turned out to be an 18.5. I go back on Thursday for another one, but at this point, I know it's just going to go down. I don't really see any way in which this can end positively for me :-(

Dawn: Congrats on your BFP- that's so exciting!!
Alisa: Good luck on your Beta today, and keep us posted!

Congrats to everyone else on your BFP's! :)

Lindsay- My heart aches for you. This part of the journey is so painful and just plain sucks. Let us know how things go. If you need to cry, just let it out. Vent any time. Hugs!

Kristy- I live outside of Seattle about 30 minutes. We live on a beautiful lake which makes all this bearable,(kinda) but long to lay in the sun and get some vitamin D.

I thought I had caught DH's cold but I have pneumonia. I was in the ER all day Sunday and they did a Beta to make sure I was pregnant. I had to have a CT scan done because the D Dimer test came back positive. I was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and I have a nodule in my right lung. I can't have it tested again until I have my baby or babies. I'm pretty much wetting my pants all day and night but I'm feel so blessed to know we are pregnant. I have another Beta scheduled by the ER doc 05/28 and then the one 05/31 with my RE whom is currently out of town. I do believe Lindsay and I are close buddies. I hope everyone is doing well!!!!!!!! I LOVE ALL OF YOU LADIES!!!! I COULDN'T MAKE IT THROUGH WITHOUT ALL THE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT I'M RECEIVING!!!!! LOVE, HUGS AND KISSES TO YOU ALL!
RE nurse didn't call me with the BETA results so I took my sick self to the hospital and signed a release to get the results. Wished I had not. Now I'm freaking out. I didn't double. Best of luck to you all. Going to rest and try to get my mind on something else.

Bad news ladies... my beta only went up to 155, 55 measly little points over 4 days. We were looking to be at 300 to 400 at least. Staying on meds with a repeat beta on Friday (I am out of town and they don't want me to go to a different lab because I guess they can vary a lot.) They are preparing me for the likelihood of a m/c or ectopic at this point. So I am officially in beta hell.

Lindsay- good luck on Thursday. I have heard lots of stories about low betas and bleeding. The odds are against both of us... but we are not totally out yet.

Dawn- I don't know that I would be too worried this early, especially if the results came from different labs. I think one came from your RE and one from the hospital? Or were they both the same lab?

Cristie- thanks and you can update from FB anytime. :-)

I am spent ladies. I can't believe I have to be away from DH right now.. and tomorrow is his birthday. I also have a presentation in front of 200 people on Thursday. Hope I can focus, practice, and make it through it.

Hugs to all of you who need them and sorry to those I missed.

Looks like the majority of us are in BETA HELL!!!! Same Lab, just one was ordered by ER doc 05/26 and the other by my RE 05/28. However my RE lab tech spun out my sample then took it to the lab. I actually have an order from the ER doc for another one. I may just have the hospital lab do it again tomorrow and wait on the results myself. My sister has us all in her prayers!`

Ladies,

My heart goes out to each one of you. Beta hell is not a journey I would wish upon anyone. My last pregnancy was just that and it sucks the life out of you. Prayers and hugs to Alisa, Dawn and Lindsay. I wish I had better words of comfort. Take care of yourselves. Rest and vent as often as you need. I am still hoping and praying for the best for you ladies.

I am at a total loss today. Went in for my first OB appt today. Could not find a heartbeat. U/S showed no HB and baby had expired. Just sick to death. I would have never thought this possible this time. I waited hours before calling DH because I just did not know how to break it to him. Now I have to decide between D&C or Cytotec pills. I am going back to my RE as soon as they can get me in. Just do not want to do this at OB's office. Not sure I can ever walk in there again. Any advice ladies? I am a wreck.

Alisa & Dawn: I'm so sorry that you two are in Beta hell, but know that I'm right there with you (although I feel pretty much out of it at this point)! Dawn, keep us posted tomorrow with how your Beta goes. I have a good feeling that you will have doubled  Alisa, I know that waiting until Friday must seem like an eternity, but maybe it's just giving your little one some extra time to snuggle in :) Hopefully work has been able to keep your mind off of things, somewhat, and I'll be watching for your good news on Friday.

Cristie: Words cannot describe how deeply and utterly sorry I am for your loss!!!! Even though this is of probably no comfort to you, I do know exactly how you feel. During my 1st IVF attempt, I went through Beta hell for a while, and when that finally straightened itself out, my baby's HB was really low on the US. At my next US I was prepared for the worst, and was amazingly surprised when it had picked up, and was up to a normal level. With that said, I was released from my Fertility Clinic, and moved on to my OB. I was finally starting to feel optimistic about my pregnancy, when at 10.5 weeks, I saw a little weird blood when I wiped after going the bathroom. I went in for an US that day and found out that my baby no longer had a HB  I know that shock that you must have felt today, and the blindsiding blow it must have caused you. Please know that we are all here for you during this extremely difficult time. I know that everyone grieves differently in this situation, but I am happy to email with you, or talk to you whenever you need! You are in my thoughts, and my heart aches for what you are going through.
