Newbie!! IVF countdown

Hey everyone.. I am 35 years old.. been married for 4 years now and been with my husband for 8 years. Had a miscarriage 6 years ago.. didnt even know i was pregnant.. just bled for days and days.. No children.
I just took my first buserelin injection... did it myself in the tummy. I debated for a while whether to use emla or not, but decided against it... i just wanna be sure i guess , that the emla wouldnt intefere.
I would love to have you guys accompany me on my ivf journey. My diagnosis is PCOS
We've been trying actively since 2009 to get pregnant ( not happening), i did the whole package.. from metformin/clomiphne to metformin/ menopur ( natural sex)...... to IUI with metformin and menopur x5 and now..... we are headed for IVF. I am hopeful

Day 2 buserelin.... here I go again.. about to do another injection... here's hoping it goes well... I haven't felt side effects from the first injection as yet.. all i feel is the constant nausea from the metformin, I am on 750 twice daily, i attempted doing 1g twice daily, but the nausea vomiting and trips to the bathroom almost killed me. I sometimes have to take a zantac or a omeprazole just for the intense nausea that comes up on me...

I am new to this, as me and my other half have decieded to try IVF after 5 years of trying and unexplained reasons! I am 28, Dh is 33. We have been ttc for 5 years now. We have went through all possible testing through reg DR. Now we are attempting IVF with too high of hopes to have our first child together! Im really nervous about this big leap we are about to take, not for the outcome, but the process! I am a very big worry wart and I dont know how I am going to be able to control my stress levels during it! If anyone has any information they would like to share or help me figure out ways to relax, that would be much appriciated! We have our first apt. on July 24th! Please pray for us!!!

@mtate08 its a journey.. I wont lie.. what u will need is a supportive DH and good friends, also remember teh goal at the end of the road, that will make all those injections, blood taking and nauseating effects tolerable, I am not sure what questions you have for me.. but fire away and I will try to answer..

I just started my menopur... I am at 225mg as well as metformin 1g twice daily and buserelin has now gone down to have the dosage at .25 cc..
