Hi guys,
My name's Dexter and I was a cycle buddy here in 2007/2007. Bit of background history...Four Ivf attempts, one m/c, one chemical pregnancy and eventually the birth of my twins in 2008. This site and the ladies on here were my saviour. Over those years I kept a journal which has now become a published book. My late night forum chats with you all feature prominently and I have mentioned you in my Acknowledgments page of my book. I was very fortunate to get my book published and wanted to post a link for any one who might like to read my story - as an offer of hope and to never give up. We went down the adoption path, lost a naturally conceived baby whilst on a UK holiday, later dealt with constant bleeding during pregnancy, had a daughter born with congenital hip dysplasia and put into plaster for the first 7 months of her infant life... You name it the story continued. I thought getting pregnant would be the happy ending but the fear and uncertainty that my infertility gave me continued ...
The book is called " How Would You Like Your Eggs?" - a journal about life with unexplained infertility. My real name is Debora Krizak. It's available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Angus and Robertson in Australia, as well as IBooks and Kindle and balboa press on line. I didn't write it to make money. I wrote it to reach out and help others. To put a voice and face to infertility and offer support when we are surrounded by such a dark cloud of uncertainty most days.
Wishing everyone the best of love, luck and light on your journeys. I think of you all often.
Much love and 'sunny side up'...
