Hi everyone I am 14 weeks today and have been suffering pretty bad with morning sickness since week 6.
I have vented a little to people about dealing with being sick in hopes to maybe learn of a remedy or sometimes just to vent.
Let's be honest, morning sickness is never a good time. One of my coworkers told me that I should never complain about being sick because of everything I've been through. I should just deal and be grateful! I was crazy offended. How dare she judge me and how thankful I am for having this child because I don't like being sick all the time. Has anyone ever encountered rudeness like this from outside people? Are we not allowed to act like normal pregnant women because we needed a little extra help? I guess we are not afforded the same allowances as "natural" mothers. I responded that my not liking morning sickness has nothing to do with my love or want for this beautiful child. She told me I was taking it too personally. Am I crazy or was she incredibly rude and insensitive? She is also pregnant if that makes a difference.
I've had a IVF pregnancy, and a surprise natural pregnancy. I found the rude comments come no matter how the little one(s) got in there. Keep in mind that the extra hormones and the sickness make us all a bit more sensitive. The best, and I feel the only proper, comment to a pregnant lady is "you look great!". Let her have her opinions and move on.
Same here but the morning sickness only last after a month but i was able to carry it and Im used to it now.. I'm due in December and so excited to see my Baby Girl. Please wish me luck for a safe delivery soon.
Morning sickess is a misnomer.for some women it is the symptoms are wrose in morning and ease up over the course of the
day but it is a normal things it is vary women to women.
