Any 40 yrs old gonig through IVF now
Hello, My name is Rose and I am new to the site. I am 40 and I a have been going through the IVF process. I am currently on Lupron, Follistim & Menopur, suppose to trigger on Thursday. I wanted to see if anyother 40 + are going through the IVF process now? Would love to chat. Career got in the way and I started the process late.

Hi Rose, I am in the same boat. Starting follistim and menopur in late feb then retrieval mid-late march and frozen embryo transfer in may i guess

I am 42, soon to be 43. I just completed my first round of IVF and now in the 2 week wait. Best wishes to you in the process. It is hard not to think about it all of the time, especially as you await the clinic's phone call updates after various appointments. I was actually looking forward to the 2WW, so I am not always looking at my phone for 'that call'. It is hard to keep sane! If you triggered Thursday, you may have had the retrieval yesterday. If so, good luck and hope they found lots of, but more importantly, a few good quality eggies.
