facial recognition for donor

I had to finally face the D word(donor). my IVF doc wanted me to use one of their donors, but all this time and emotion--if I have to use a donor I want someone special. After some searching I found this incredible site-Donormatchme.com. Who know there were so many donors out there! We have a month left to narrow it down but we are talking to different groups across the country. With the facial recognition the ones we are researching actually look like me. We still have a way to go but I am so much more comfortable and not so overwhelmed. wish us luck

www.donormatchme.com is a great. My husband and I had to use a donor as well. Years after trying, and you finally realize you need a donor. It was hard. We started looking at different banks, it was taking forever and very frustrating. We found this website as well and it made the process so much easier. We could compare donors from all over the US and be matched to look like me. It made me feel so much better. We were matched with a donor from a great bank, everything so far so good! VERY HAPPY we did this!

Would definitely recommend this to a friend. My husband's sperm count was zero; and, we had to use donor sperm. This was as easy as uploading my husbands pic and he was matched to 10 donors in seconds. We liked the fact that it had numerous banks listed with it and, we weren't just being compared to donors from one bank. Success:)

thank you for sharing. I hadn't thought about the sperm donor part. I liked seeing myself in the pictures of the egg donors, but with sperm you can't see pictures so this would be even better. if my husband had to use a donor he would be devastated. I think something like this facial recognition stuff would be the only way he would agree. thankfully his"gun is loaded". I just have old eggs.
