EMPTY GESTATIONAL SAC AT 6 WKS 4 DAYS
I had IVF transfer on 9/26 and my first ultrasound was on 10/16 at this time they saw a sac measuring 3.9 x 4.4 mm. On 10/22, which would put me at 6 weeks and 4 days I had a second ultrasound and the gestational sac measured 9 x 8 mm but sac appeared empty. I also have a tilted uterus. What does this mean? Could it be that it is just slow growing or they couldn't see a yulk sac because of my tilted uterus? Nurse did not give me a warm fuzzy of what is going on. I am scheduled to go back for third ultrasound on 10/28. What is the percentage that they will see something more this time. I have a 5 year old son (no problems) had him C-section. Have had 3 miscarriages after him, the 3rd being ectopic and having to have tube removed. Now, I have gone the IVF route and this is what is happening. I have had all the chromosomal testing that is available and had 2 good eggs to transplant. This was the first one and it is not sounding to good. I thought my chances with IVF and all the testing would make this a pretty high chance of having another baby. Has anyone else gone through this out there?
