What can i do to become pregnant?

Post by wannabeamum »

Hi there! Im 25 years old and am starting IVF in December. Me and my partner have been trying for a baby for five years with no luck at all? My partner and i cannot discuss our problem as he has a low sperm count (male pride etc) and one of my tubes are blocked? We have been to the clinic for blood test, scans etc so am waiting for september 14 to hear our results. We honestly cant talk about the situation i know its in the back of our heads but when we try and talk we cant? Yesterday i spoke to him while he was in the bath because i needed to get things off my chest and was ready to speak about it? also he couldnt run nowhere :D . I asked if it was what he wanted and he said he wanted it to happen naturally but knows that this isnt the case? So i said i would make him a deal? We have 3 months till the appointment i will get a clear blue ovulation kit and try to concieve that way and if no luck we have no option but to proceed with IVF which to he agreed? Is there anything i can do to try and boost my luck of trying to concieve naturally? I am on follic acid but does that help? I need some advice is there any advice anyone can give me?
Many Thanks.

Hey girl...I feel your pain..my DH and I have been TTC for a few months now and it's been really tough on both of us. We have a beautiful 4 year old boy (he was an IVF baby) but we want to conceive again and complete our family with another son or daughter. I have been trying this natural herbal remedy that my girlfriend Ellie swears by...she was declared infertile by the docs back in 2005...she tried this stuff out of desperation and now she is 7 months pregnant! I about keeled over when I heard the news.

Anyway, I am going to give the stuff a shot...I figure it can't hurt, and if I am able to conceive, it will make it all worth it! Good luck to you :)
My husband and I were TTC for over 2 years until I found this guide on herbal remedies. It sorted out the B.S. from the real info. I followed this thing to the letter, and a year after I read the book, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl!

Hello,
After 7 years trying to conceive I finally got pregnant 4 weeks after I read Pregnancy Miracle Book and followed its program. It was simply amazing. I had history of recurrent miscarriages and was also diagnosed with genetic problems but using its system I got pregnant naturally at age 44& after 2 HSGs and 4 negative IUIs including 6 induction Clomid cycles and laparscopy. Everything in that book makes sense. I am recommending that program to all my friends.
You can get the book here: http://alturl.com/f9mfo
God bless you!"

Hi everyone! You know, honestly speaking, the question What can I do to become pregnant had been bothering me for 5 years in a row. It seemed we tried everything possible and impossible!
Following a special diet, counting ovulation cycle, measuring temprature and taking food supplements and waiting, waiting, waiting for a miracle. me and my husband had sex all the time, but still pregnancy test was upseting us both

Once after I got my period and burst out in tears my husband made a desicion for us to start looking for a clinics to solve our fertility issues. To make the long story short, a bit more than 2 weeks ago we returned from Ukraine. Trip was ok but emotionally devastating :?

Clinics we applied provides patients with cosy accomodation but when I saw villa we where supposed to live I was like On man, where from do they take SO MANY babies?? Every 2nd couple had a newborn so noise and screaming all around was guaranteed throught the whole stay. I felt hopeful that one day (God willing, soonish) we will hear our babyțs crying and yelling :)

Getting to the point, we had an appointment with our doc. We came half an hour earlier the scheduled time so needed to wait. Half an hour passed and nobody (I'm not kidding, nobody) asked us whether we want a cup of tea or coffee, Doc was so serious that I thought "OMG, our situation must be grave!". In fact, it turned to be better than I initially thought!

We did some primary anylises and waiting for the results. But doc told us we shouldn't encounter serious problems. She seems a high-quality prof so I tend to trust her opinion.

Hold fingers crossed for us :!:

Sounds very unlikely to work out naturally. A blocked tube isn't as much of a threat along than with a low sperm count in combination with it. There are medications to boost egg production even to release multiple eggs instead of the naturally produced single one but I wouldn't recommend any without supervision. All you've left to do is TTC through increased numbers of intercourse. When you're in your fertile window make the most of it :lo
Good Luck!

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty much in the same situation right now. There are some really great answers here, but if you could see my thread here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26789 and reply to it, I'd really appreciate it.

Wishing you'll a whole lotta baby dust... :D

Becoming mother was not painful for me when I was young. But my husband is from Japan. He has a very big family. So we tried for a baby once again. But doctors told me about the infection in the uterus. So they have to remove that. After that, I lost hope for having a baby. My husband does not want an adopted child. I know it seems selfish but he wants his own child. I came to know about surrogacy. We are planning to do that now. if there is no hope still there is a way. I am much excited for new one in our family.
