Have a date!

Post by Tracey S »

WEll folks the pilsbury dough babies are staying put. They gave up trying to scan and measure as they are very large and wriggly - how I don't know as I am small frame! These babies they reckon are 6.5-7lb each but they said they could be smaller - either way they are fine and still have fluid.
They tried another sweep - deep joy and the cervix is still firmly shut for business - get over those pineapples please. It has softened slightly and there was a trace of protein in the urine and the head has gone down further.
SOOOOOOOOO - they induce on Wednesday - unless of course something happens before.
That's me folks - off to the garden now
Love
Tracey

Hi Tracey!

How exciting; a final date for you. So will the girls' birthday be 4th August or do you think it'll take a bit longer than that ?

I'll be keeping my 'phone permanently on from now on I think - you should have heard the shrieks from this end when I got your message this morning because I KNEW it was you before I picked up the 'phone. Daniel and Charlotte thought that I'd gone mad (sadly already am mad, but they just think that all Mummies are like that)!

Love Jules

Hi Jules

Thought it easier to text you and I could check got the number right for the big day!

Knowing me and what happened with Oliver I had the maximum number of pessaries to get the cervix to open. I would not be suprised if I get that far to have the first lot - they then leave me 6 hours and examine - if ok they break the waters if not they give me more sodding pessaries and wait another 6 hours -

Who knows?
Keep you posted
Love

Hello you lot!

Tried curries and sex - not nec in that order  and no go! I think they think "here we go again - let's just sit tight a few minutes and soon be over and we can get back to sitting here like lard arses"

Embarassed my scanner yesterday - had not seen this one before - African gentleman of around 30 I would say - lovely chap called George - he was trying to scan me when the senior scanner came in and remarked she could not believe I was still there. I explained that you lot had spoken about pineapple but I was not sure whether I should eat it or do something else with it. Well luckily he has very black skin or he would have been bright red - he ran out the room! Later on when I apologised he just laughed and said would I mind trying out for research!

Love to all

Was joking actually but got you going - mind you bit hard for me to sustain interest for too long at present sadly as too large - amazing I am managing at all!
