Hi there How are you all? I have been ttc for 13 months now. We have decided that if it had to happen naturally, it would have by now. We need help. Our doctor suggested we go for IVF. I'm not so sure though. Most of the people I know of went for IUI first. My sister in law had a great experience with IUI. I checked the prices too. IUI is comparitively cheaper. So, that's another factor. What should we do? The doctor says it is our choice, but he would recommend IVF. He says the sucess rate is higher. Is that true? Cast your vote people. IVF or IUI? Thanks in advance.

At my center, IVF is the better option for most patients. It costs more per cycle, but less per birth, so it is more cost effective. It’s also safer because we can better control the risk of multiples.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
I’m sorry about your situation. You still can conceive through ivf. Of course all of us including me would prefer to conceive naturally. I wish I could to do so... Anyway I see nothing wrong with ivf. The most important is to get pregnant and give birth to a healthy child. If ivf is necessary to do that, go for it. I will have to use ivf. The thing is that I will be using not my own eggs but donor eggs. That's little different. Well, this is different to me... Anyway as I've already mentioned the most important is a baby. We have to go all the way! I wish everyone good luck xx
This is definitely a dilemma most of the women in serious fertility treatment go through. At some point, they have to ask this and decide on their best option. Whether you have some hope with IUI or should land upon IVF totally depends on each individual case. Though in some countries when you're going through referrals you cannot really surpass IUI to get directly to IVF.... sometimes the IUI is totally redundant. IUI is mostly the clinical assistance intended to deal with male infertility. The design to insert the semen directly in the uterus help rule out the incompetences like sperm motility, low sperm count, less viable sperms etc. While IVF, on the other hand, has a broad spectrum in terms of both male and female infertility procedures. It can be effective even in case of blocked or damaged tube and sometime critical male infertility like azoospermia. Also the success rate of IVF at any reputed clinic is much more than IUI success rate with the same. So yeah, if your individual case seems to be more complicated that just the odd numbers in SA of your male partner the IVF is definitely the better option.
