My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 years. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. Treatments and medications didn't work for us. Unfortunately nothing gave result. Now I'm looking into donor eggs option.
Recently I made some medical tests at a local hospital. In a couple of days I will go to new reproductive center which opened in nearby town. I hope it will help me to know if I'm ready for using donor eggs. This option seems great for me. I feel like it will help us to become parents.
I try to respond to your problem. I think it's better to check it into a specialist like surrogacyinfo (Surrogacy and IVF consulting). they will suggest what you should do. PCOS usually affects infertility. have you tried treatment to handle your PCOS ?. Maybe later doctors will get vitamins. a PCOS is usually advised to run a healthy lifestyle. Do regular exercise as well. maybe you should wait a few more days to do the test again.
keep trying. You still have a chance to have a child. Good luck.

Avoid surrogacy unless you truly need it. Surrogacy is by far the most expensive route. Surrogacy also has potential legal nightmares.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Hi girls! Thanks for sharing your stories. I'm so glad I found someone who experienced ivf with donor eggs. Last year I had failed try of IVF with my own eggs. Now doctors say I need to use donor eggs. This is my only chance to become a mother. My husband and I discussed this option. We've been thinking about it for a couple of months now. But both of us feel like we are not mentally ready for this step. Reading this and other forums I almost stopped torment myself with thoughts about baby' and mine kinship. But now I really want to know the whole process. How to prepare for the transfer? Is this procedure same as usual ivf? I'll be grateful for any information. I wish everyone best of luck!

So I’d done nothing about my disease. Now I understand how stupid it was. I’ve got married 4 years ago. Now I’m 26. We want to have children so much. I don’t know how but I’ve got pregnant 3 years ago. But our happiness lasted only 7 weeks. Then I lost my baby. After this I’ve started my fight with PCOS. I went to one of the best doctors in our city. I made all needed tests and ultrasounds. We’re not really rich people, but we worked hard to save money for pills and treatment. I did all doctors recommendations and never miss pills reception. But all this brought no result. Whatever I do there is no ovulation. My doctor said I need to restore hormonal balance. One more solution is ivf with donor egg. Otherwise I can’t get pregnant. I don’t know how and when this balance will restore. I’m so tired! We spent so much money for these 3 years and nothing gave even a small result! We decided to try de ivf. Now I’m looking for a clinic, where this procedure can be done. I concentrated mostly on European clinics. Prices there are pretty normal. The only problem is how to find reliable clinic among all those amount of them. And also I’ve read some articles about scammers. I’m afraid I can bump into some of them, because it’s new for me and I don’t know all details. Maybe someone here had this procedure in Europe? Which clinic did you choose? What should I consider in my search? I’ll be grateful for any info!
I'm so sorry that you've had to be through all these and that there was no one to guide you though!:( Pregnancy loss is a grief of a lifetime but I'm glad in spite of the sting you could muster your courage and move on. Yes, PCOS is an ugly thing and while some can still have a baby normally for most the natural TTC doesn't work when they have PCOS. If the stimulants have failed to produce ovulation, I'm afraid donor egg +IVF is the only way for you. However, if you haven't yet decided on a clinic let me tell you Lotus Surrogacy in Kiev offers excellent and affordable assisted fertility programs. It's even better to have the surrogacy facility in the clinic you opt for. You'll have to remember the first attempt might not be a success and there might be a need for a subseuent IVF or moving onto the next. That way just in case things doesn't work with IVF and you need to take a call you can save a lot of time searching for clinics again. It's possible in your case, as you see when we ovulate and everything goes normally the whole functionality of the reproductive system is working at it's optimum but if any one of the processes cease for months it has it affects on the whole. Though I hope it doesn't get there, time is always a constraint and it's best to make provisions for possibilities that's too quicker ones.

You can't have a surrogacy at will, no matter the place unless you really have reasons to prove that you can't bear a child. There are absolutely two indispensable rules.... the husband needs to be the biological father and therefore have a fully functional reproductive vitality and there is enough clinical evidence that the female cannot have a child by any other means. Either the female spouse has a condition that renders her incapable of bearing a child, or there's a serious threat to life or disability if she is allowed advanced gestation or perhaps they have tried everything including multiple IVF but it all failed.
Yes, it involved legal process and a lots n loads of documentation but then when you need something as desperately as a baby - your own bundle of joy... it's really just another hassle. It's nothing like a nightmare, especially when your Clinic abroad assists you with it. Lotus Surrogacy is excellent in providing both pre and post surrogacy assistance for all the paperwork. My friend who've had a hysterectomy had her twins at Lotus Surrogacy Kiev last year. I'm sure the clinic with it's good success rate can help others like her who don't have a choice.

PCOS does trigger infertility in most. I'd say most because I know a few women who have had success with natural TTC even after having PCOS... though they were under medications for controlling the PCOS as well as has some ovarian stimulants to help them. The healthy lifestyle alone doesn't change a thing or rather won't undo the condition once it's caused, really... unless you're taking medication with it. As long as there's ovulation and the eggs you produce are up to a certain quality that supports the fertilization. It's important to have hope and make some settlements! My friend with a hysterectomy happened to have a twin with surrogacy... definitely, she owes it all to Lotus Surrogacy. But then I think because she didn't give up on hope and could fight all the second thoughts about surrogacy helped her in the first place. It's only after she made up her mind and cling to optimism did she reach out for Lotus Surrogacy in Ukraine.

Hi Trisha, sorry to hear about your PCOS and the negligence you had to face. Let me begin with saying, not all PCOS is irreversible. What's the treatment you opted for when finally you get to know you have PCOS? In my case, they put me on birth control pills for 2 and a half years and then it was fine. I still get long and irregular cycles though, typically 36-40 days but the anovulation phase is over. However, my natural TTC didn't work either, they blame it on poor eggs, so I'll be going for the first round of IVF next year. A friend of mine had a similar condition failed a couple of rounds of IVF and was told she'll need DE+IVF. But thanks to Adonis Clinic in Ukraine, she didn't have to. They managed to pull some embryo banking and all and she got a baby now. I hope they help me too.

I'm sorry to hear about your failed. But donor eggs are such a blessing! I am now preg (11w5d) with donor eggs. I've had multiple failed IUI's and IVFs.
From my side, there are some non-profit public organization like Happy Family(Surrogacy) and IVF consultant reproductive technologies, medical, legal, ethical and psychological aspects. I hope that helps you somewhat. This board is full of great gals that are very supportive and helpful!

I'm so happy to hear about your success... it really makes me believe I'll to taste success someday. Congratulation for getting pregnant! I'm sure the new baby have filled your time and days in happiness. Please tell me more about the non-profit organisations you're talking about? Is there any that you know in North Carolina or like anywhere in the neighbouring states? I will have to consider donor conception as per my doc. I'm really looking forward to going with Adonis in Ukarine as my friend who was told the same and have failed at IVF too which I haven't had tried yet got her baby with OE+IVF. Since the call for Adonis if party for a lesser financial constraint and the live example of the success that happened to my friend is definitely an add-on to prefer it. But I'd like to really weight my options in here back in US before going to assisted fertility abroad.
