glendakim wrote:Hi there. How are you all doing? Anyway! My introduction is that I'm a thirty-year-old lady from the USA. I can't have a child of my own due to some issue with my health. I'm moving to Ukraine for a year for having an IVF or surrogacy. I just want to have a little advice on this issue that should I go for frozen eggs or fresh ones in an IVF? I'm a little confused as both of them have equal results in terms of stats. As I've studied on the internet. Because it's really a very important for me. I always seek people's opinion on stuff. But, it's really a very uncommon and rare thing to ask. So, that is why I joined this forum and ask you all about it. A little help can be appreciated! Thanks all!
In the USA, the success rates with frozen embryos have increased steadily and are now better than fresh transfers in all age groups. Most clinics are switching over to freezing most or all embryos. The fresh transfer is fading away.
In Europe, the frozen embryo transfer protocols are less advanced. For example, a recent Dutch randomized trial comparing two frozen transfer protocols had implantation rates near 10%, where the same patient groups would have had at least 40% implantation rate in the USA.
You should therefore complete your IVF treatments before moving to Ukraine.
Ukraine is particularly questionable for IVF treatment due to dishonest practices. Shills have created numerous sock accounts on these boards, pretending to be patients but actually just deceptively advertising for the Ukraine. Many were easy to spot because they told contradictory stories. For example, two of them forgot how old they said they were. Another said she was late in her pregnancy, and then posted she was about to start IVF. Other signed their posts with the names of other sock accounts. And more.
I would avoid any centers that advertise so deceptively.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
