Suggestions for FET.. trying to cope with my nervousness

Post by Gia9 »

It's not my first FET but I don't think the number makes a lot of difference - I still feel as anxious and nervous as I was during the first one. Even more because now after 2 BFNs over two consecutive FET with one BB and AB grade I can't help but dwell on the odds. Is there anything to suggest that might improve my chances of conceiving? Dietary changes I've already adopted a few that might help ever since the first FET turned out to be BFN. I'm sure there's more. As desperate I am to get pregnant and have a child I'm pretty much up for making any change that'll improve my chances of conceiving. TIA

FYI...I don't have any solid answers from my clinic on the failures ... all they said was it's not uncommon for the first IVF to fail every round has only up to 60% of success rate. I just have 1 more embryo left after the transfer in March so now I'm really worried.

First off, beware of the many sock accounts on these boards pretending to be patients, but actually are paid advertisers for Ukrainian clinics.

Some might recommend genetic testing of your embryo, but genetic testing cannot improve your one remaining embryo. It might even harm it through the thaw, biopsy, and refreeze.

How are they preparing your uterus for transfer? What progesterone, and when? Same question for estradiol.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I know its natural to be anxious as you had failed the first IVF cycle. But don't get nervous because there is no one clinic that will give the guarantee of success in the first attempt and there are very low chances to get the success in the first cycle. One of my friends had got the success in the third cycle of IVF. So if you feel any problem regarding the treatment discuss it with your doctor. Each one has different health conditions, if they find any problem they will treat it through fertile medications that help to improve the chances of conceiving. If you don't find the success you can go for the surrogacy, it is also a good option for all infertile couples. So don't lose hope and be positive. Take care of yourself. Hope you will find the success this time. All the best for this cycle.

No, it’s a terrible option for most infertile couples. It is very expensive and legally risky. It should be recommended only in the rare cases where it is absolutely necessary.

It is promoted by numerous sock accounts that advertise deceptively on these boards.

Daizy4727 is another of many sock accounts advertising for Ukrainian clinics. Avoid Ukrainian clinics for the reasons in my signature.
