need a little information

Post by glendakim »

Hi everyone. I just need a little information regarding it. Actually, it's not a problem with me. It's a friend as she has been facing this issue of the low ovarian reserve, which is indirectly affecting her capability of reproduction. So, can anyone suggest any remedy or any natural ways of reducing it? Because she wants to go the medicine route first. A little help or suggestion would be helpful for someone's life.

Hey, the low ovarian reserve is definitely a problem but not one without a solution. There are two ways it can affect reproductive efficiency of a woman - the lesser number of eggs and the quality of eggs. How old is your friend? What's the AMHcount? Both can be somewhat helped with some medications and clinical aid. Stimulants help improve the numbers (now that can be down reg or normal) and several medications can work on the egg quality. I had 70 mg of DHEA daily for 5 weeks before retrieval in my case along with a few dietary and lifestyle change - yet to be any successful though. CoQ10 is also effective against ageing-related egg quality deterioration. Usually, IVF is the best way to go for it; however, I'd suggest medicated TTCs first with Clomid or Gonal-F etc. Remember, medication of this sort are subject to high risk - best to get it prescribed by a Doctor. Hope this information helps, good lUck!

I would also suggest considering acupuncture. However, agreed with Gia9 (yr friend's age is the matter) IVF is one of the best options, and even IVF DE or IVF PGS NGS.
