Lindsey and Julie,

So sorry your tmts have not worked. Was so hopeful this month might start looking up.

I don't know your plans, but would be honored to be a cycle buddy with you in the future. Take good care of yourselves and DH/DF/DPs.

Just wanted to say a huge sorry and send a massive hug for all those who did not make a bfp this cycle - what a complete bummer of a month.

I know this will not make any of you feel any better right now but I remember a month like this on my 3rd tmt - infact a whole day of so many crappy no's i could not believe it and christened it Black Monday. Most of us went on the next cylce to get a BFP including me but then we know the story of my 4th tmt.

Nickie good luck and don' think about the pressure - I feel like most of the others that you will end the board with a

Love to you all and hang in there

Hi CB's,
Lindsey and Julie so sorry to hear the news. Big hug (((( ))))). I hope that the next round does it for you! This has been such a rough month!

I tested on Wednesday and got a faint line, I tested again today and the same faint line, shouldn't it be darker? starting to really worry that hcg is not doubling. Anyone heard of this? Still having spotting..ugh!! Next blood test is tomorrow. It's amazing how when you get the good news your mind jumps to the future to a million possible happy moments and I realize now that I've got to try to stay in the present. Sorry for venting when I should prob just be happy.

Just to let you know the hpt's are not sensitive enough to register small differences in the blue line. If you do one in a week you would get a stronger line but at present days do not make a difference I am afraid.
Good luck with the blood test

Hope,

Nice to hear from a fellow Jersey girl! I'm from New Jersey but now live in the UK (Newcastle upon Tyne). While its good that I don't have to pay for my IVF here (the first two cycles are paid by national health where I live) whereas in teh states my insurance did not cover IVF, they only can transfer 2 embryos maximum here by law-the more embryos they can transfer, teh better the odds apparently. Anyway, I too have been trying to conceive for 7 years, am considered unexplained, though I have not been tested for endometriosis which I sometimes suspect I have, and unhappily my first ivf resulted in a very early miscarriage (just unlucky). A few girls wrote me when I first posted during that time and helped me get through what can be such a hugely difficult time. Doing my second ivf in september after a nice long holiday! Wishing you the best for tomorrow-lets see that hcg stuff do it's thing.

Tracey,
Thankyou for making me feel so much better. I've read a lot of the sad stories on this board and it's always in my mind. Plus I still don't have one symptom, I actually feel pretty energetic.

Eacole, Hi!!! Where in Jersey are you from? I'm from Phila, moved to south NJ a year and a half ago. Luckily NJ has a state mandate that forces insurers to cover IVF. Why did you move to the UK? That stinks that you can only transfer 2 embryos, plus doesn't sound medically founded. Seven years seems like forever doesn't it. I had a laparoscopy to rule out endo, may be a good idea if you think you have it. I think our problem turned out to be that DH's sperm isn't attracted to my eggs. They weren't fertilizing. At second IVF we ISCI all eggs and all fertilized. So sorry that your first IVF didn't work out, I'm so afraid the same thing is happening to me. Any advice? Good luck with the next try!

Hope,

I'm originally from Lakewood, but my parents have lived in Manahawkin, near Long Beach Island for a long time now. I also lived in philly for about 6 years where I met my husband, we live in the UK because nathaniel (hubby) took a position as a professor here at the University. I work as a psychotherapist here and we both like it as it reminds us a bit of the east coast-he's from New York city and we love being by the coast (before this we lived in washington state on the idaho border and didn't like it-too isolated, too far from water!. don't worry too much about things if you can help it-one thing i've learned from everyone here and from expereince is that everyone is different and what one person encounters, though you may have, say, the same symptoms, etc.. you may not necessarily have the same outcome. Try to stay positive until you go tomorrow and get your result-unfortunately iot is a waiting game with this ttc/ivf business, and then you can take it from there. What you know is that you got a positive result and your team did not have anything to worry about for you. My team, on the other hand, warned me that I would not have a viable pregnancy on my first result. One day/step at a time, as they say, but I know only too well how hard it is. Stay in touch..and thinking of you for tomorrow, sending out all the best wishes!

Hope,

You are so lucky to live in one of the few states where insurance covered IVF is state mandated! Nothing is covered where I live so, after I do the FET (or two of them if enough frosties make it), that may be the end for me. We have already used a large amount of our savings just paying for initial testing and the first IVF. It's such rubbish that it's not covered by insurance in more states.

Staci,
I agree, it's crazy that insurance companies don't treat IF like a disease and pay for everything. Shouldn't everyone have the right to have a baby even if they don't have loads of money. I don't know how people without insurance coverage do it. It would have cost us $15,000 for each IVF.

Elizabeth-Wow LBI is only about an hour from me. I love going to vacation there, it's got beautiful beaches. Where did you live in Philly? I grew up in the far northeast, got married and bought a house in Manayunk, now in NJ in Mullica Hill. Thanks for the advice. I feel so not pg right now, I'm dreading the call that may end my dream. I should know in a few hours.
