Xenia, thanks for the clue. I’ve read this article and found loads of useful information in it. I would certainly take it into consideration while choosing the fertility clinic. I’ve written in my initial post that my mom did have some problems with her fertility, so I think my problems with ovaries are the hereditary issue. As for the clinic, they seem to have rather good success rates. We’ve found loads of positive feedbacks about them on various fertility forums. In addition, we quite liked their prices: they don’t charge much for their services…

Yeah, that's very well written and simple enough for everyone to understand the important information. However, I feel one always have a few questions that need to be addressed after reading an informative blog about procedures concerning assisted fertility. Which is why I prefer shortlisting a few clinics, gather much info through reading online and then have a thorough conversation with the client representative of the short-listed clinics. That way not only the questions get answered which helps you understand it all better and make a suitable decision accordingly but also provide a significant insight into the clinic. The way a clinic attends to their prospective clients tells a lot... especially when it involves discussing your condition initially n trying to find out if there's something additional they can offer you. I suggested the same to my friend who has to have surrogacy because of her hysterectomy.... n it worked just great for her. She was quite confused with all the data n stuff which is why talking to them up-close was so much needed. She settled for Lotus Surrogacy and now eventually have twin boys of 19 months... thanks to Lotus Clinic who could impact their success clearly through their effective communication.

Hello all,
I just wanted to share an update in case anyone finds it as a help and an impetus. I shared my journey to a lady I befriended in a fertility struggle meetup and she thought to check the Lotus Clinic details makes sense. She was on TTC for 7 years... 5 years on failed IVF and was almost at the brink of giving up. I'm glad to say my story helped her come out of her hopelessness. She probably checked their website and got some details digging into the info there. Called up to ask me if I can share my co-ordinator's contact as she is better off talking to someone directly than being redirected through general enquiries. It was only yesterday she informed me that they are pretty convinced to go with Lotus Clinic and if she can come down for a coffee to discuss a couple of things about her plans to go for her fertility process in Ukraine. I don't know I'm feeling terribly happy and can't quite reason it though. It's like they're yet to start and it might take some time before they get to the success but I already feel quite happy that I could help someone and soon someone will be able to experience motherhood.

Hi, there! I’ve decided to post here as I need some help. I feel a little bit trapped and can’t make my mind what to do further. The thing is I have some problems with my fertility. I was diagnosed with a low ovarian reserve nearly a year ago. My gyny says that I may even face the first signs of menopause soon. I think it’s a hereditary issue as my mom also had some problems with her periods. She gave birth to me when she was 26 and started to have the first problems with her periods when she was 34. I have the same problems. Firstly, I started to have shot delays between my menstrual cycles. Then the delays became longer and longer. I had menstruation only 6 times this year. The problem is I’m childless and want to become mum very much. Is there anybody here who has the problems? How did you manage to conceive? Did you use medications or natural remedies?
P.S. My gyny recommends me to try egg donation. She says that ED IVF will give me much more chances to conceive. We have already visited one fertility clinic. It’s situated overseas. The clinic seems to be a reputable one and is much discussed on various fertility forums. We decided to deal with this clinic as it has very reasonable prices and we liked the package of services they offered to us. However, when we visited them, we were a little bit puzzled. The clinic’s halls were too overcrowded. There wasn’t even a vacant place to stand. We had to wait nearly two hours before the fertility specialist was ready to meet us. We spent nearly 45 min in the fertility specialist’s office as she asked too many questions and investigated the results of our health tests very attentively. We also visited one more fertility clinic. The things were quite different there. The clinic was empty, but I didn’t like the fertility specialist who worked there. I think she was too soothing. I don’t like such people. Now we have to make a decision which clinic to choose. Do you have any clues which clinic to choose?

Hey any update about any success on the fertility road. I did share my story of success with Lotus Surrogacy Ukraine at a local woman meet up and she thought of checking out the Lotus website. And she is like talked to the coordinator from the clinic who assisted me and is quite ready to take the leap of faith. Coming down to discuss a couple of basic stuff over the weekend about my journey and the process and all. I really feel like soo happy for her. I'd tell you to try looking for a solution for yourself as well and if needed I'm always here to help or talk. Wish you all the luck in the world Lady.

Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles... infertility is a despicable evil. However, in spite of the odds, there's one good thing that even though just 6 AFs you're getting it and it's not a complete POF. Because this means you're ovulating at least and donor conception isn't the only way left. Yes, this can be hereditary as well, premature ovarian failure. Basically, the low AMH level is the thing that causes it, some inherit that some acquire it. While hope is not lost for good... natural pregnancy might not be feasible in your case. So, you've got to think about assisted fertility and especially IVF as IUI doesn't seem very promising in your case. A friend of mine was told for donor conception due to her poor egg quality and low response to ovarian stimulants. But then she landed up with Adonis in Kiev, Ukraine and things changed for the good. They put her on some medications to revive egg quality and did egg banking in her IVF and it worked. She did some healthy lifestyle switches too to match the efforts though... and I guess you or anyone would do that happily to be able to have a baby. Give it a shot.. who knows it might just work for you too.

However, will they charge any additional fees for this. As far as I know, some fertility clinics do this. What about the one you’ve got interested in? Have they offered you any optional services?

Some don't most do... it's good to actually have a look at the donor before proceeding with the DE+IVF process. I think it's only possible when they give you an option to choose a donor and the protocol of the clinic isn't to match it themselves. One of my friends was considering the option of DE+IVF as her clinic back home told her she has almost no chance to conceive with her poor quality eggs. She said Adonis in Ukraine, the clinic she opted for IVF overseas told her they'll match her physical appearance from their pool of donor ladies and then she can choose from the shortlisted one. However, finally, she was lucky to have found Adonis who helped her to get it done without having to bestow on donor conception. It's not always possible though. I have been communicating with them recently in my case and they say based on the reports I send them they are not sure if they'll be able to rule-out donor conception completely. An honest clinic eh.. most would simply be telling you about a 100% success without donor egg just to get you onboard.
