No, it doesn’t. If both donor’s egg and yours are fertilized and then your nucleus is transferred into healthy mitochondria while donor’s nucleus is removed, then yes. By the way that is what was offered to Ghost. But there are clinics that firstly transfer mitochondria and only then fertilize the egg with donor’s healthy mitochondria in it so that it won’t carry any DNA. Google the difference.
I understand the difference but I think that the latter is quite complicated and I can’t find any reviews/ comments, it looks like a new procedure.

I would recommend checking out websites, blogs and social media accounts of clinics that offer the procedure. I came across stats of Polish IVF clinic, that offers it, and they published it on their FB account.

It is a new procedure and it is a very good one. I know about it because my sister successfully underwent it in a foreign clinic and way back when she was doing it, she couldn’t find even a single review. she wasn’t alone in the whole process, but with other Ip’s from all over the world and all of them got successfully pregnant. I believe it’s unfair that not many people know about this procedure)

Oh, sounds great! Do you mind sharing the name of the clinic?

As I have already said it’s a foreign clinic, a very wide-known one. It has a lot of positive reviews online and on their website. I remember before going through with the program, we made such a profound online research, watched so many videos about them that I even had dreams about the clinic) It’s called biotexcom, I don’t know if you have heard of it but it’s a clinic in Ukraine. Btw we really enjoyed our stay there (I went together along to support them) and we really thoroughly enjoyed the city. My sis is still thinking about naming her baby girl some Slavic name

Happy you had such positive experience. Of course I’ve heard about this clinic, I didn’t know that they do mitochondrial donation there… Now that I googled it, I see an article on their website about md.
Slavic name, sounds so much fun! I don’t know anyone with a Slavic name, I just googled to check them out and they sound quite…. exquisite I would say)

Do you mean mesotherapy treatment to ovaries? From what I have read IVF clinics in Poland and Cyprus are very good at this.
