PGS is a technique in which genes of the embryo are created through IVF procedure. They are examined for a number of potential genetic disorders. After the examination, they are transferred into a uterus. If an embryo has chromosomal disorders it can lead to an unsuccessful pregnancy or often results in miscarriage. It is offered to couples who have been suffering from recurrent pregnancy loss or infertility. It increases their chance of a successful pregnancy.

PGD is a reproductive technology. It is used to increase the chances of successful pregnancy and delivery. It is a genetic test used to check the best cells which are removed from the embryo. They are very useful in achieving a successful pregnancy. It is useful for couples who have a genetic risk. The risk of a genetic disorder can be removed in this technique.

Benefits of PGD and PGS:-

1. Both are used to detect genetic diseases or chromosomal abnormalities.
2. They identify abnormal embryos and prevent unhealthy embryos to get transferred into the uterus and decrease the chances of an unsuccessful pregnancy.

That's very detailed info and will certainly help a lot of women seeking details into the PGS and PGD. Often people come up with asking their chances of success for the second FET having failed the first one. Certainly, the chances are already high in the second one compared to the first one even without doing anything but then one must always add a thing of two in the following protocol if they can. Like recently I came across a post who added a bit of vitamin E and aspirin from FET onwards to help with the placental functioning. I suppose a good doc is all you need to get you through the process and have sufficient information on what all you can do to give yourself a better chance. Like my sister landed up with the Biotexcom in Kiev, in Ukraine and she finally ended up having a baby after a long struggle and the ectopic pregnancy that made her have an unfortunate hysterectomy. I came across rating of Polish and Czech clinics, and I know that Invicta and Botian are one of the best clinics in Poland, and Zlin and Reprogen in Czech Rep. I would like to know more about the Lotus clinic and their success rates, whether they declare them in ESHRE.

Ukraine is doing phenomenally in recent years in the field of assisted fertility treatment. Not only the success rate is far too high to be impressive and the procedures are pretty affordable... they also incorporate several advanced techniques in the standard protocol to suit the individual patient case. Like the pronuclear transfer (PNT) previously and now mitochondrial donation. Irrespective of Ukraine or any other country in the world not all clinics in that region are really excellent. The Lotus Clinic is firstly only surrogacy oriented... so in case you're not eligible legally for a surrogacy best not to ponder on what they offer. Secondly, I personally have reasons to doubt the clinic as in some of the forums I have heard negative reviews about the clinic. They don't seem to respond generously to queries from intended patents. Also, an Australian couple nearly spent 65000 USD and then had to abandon the process... first was the surrogate lost the baby and then the surrogate didn't turn up. It's only beneficial to indulge more into the individual clinic through than speaking of the whole country as a Whole.

I would like to see the official stats, e.g. ESHRE reports, etc. I mentioned above you can find stats on European clinics easily, so I can compare Invicta clinics to Zlin, etc. How can I compare Ukranian clinics?
