Hi Alicia

Thanks for starting this new thread, and including me as I'm currently on the July CB thread (on my own now, I think !).

You've been a busy bee, putting this list together. My EC is Wed 4th, so I reckon (all being well :D ) that test date will be Mon 23rd. My hospital test 17 days after ET - an extra 3 days of agony

..... also, to be included on Aug list .... :

Paige - had ET 27 July ... not sure of test date. (Thought I'd read 6 Aug, but may be mistaken :?:)

Janine - tests 6 Aug

and JulieN was due to have baseline scan on 26 July, so (should ?) be an August tester.

Good Paige, GOOD!

As you can see from following the posts of others on this board, the hpt is EEEEEVIL     !!

It will only make you feel worse, no matter what it shows. Only a few more days, now, so hang in!

Paige, you're nearly there now. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE WANT TO SEE ANYTHING ABOUT HPTs. If you even mention them again, you'll have to do even more lines  .

As you know, no symptoms at all, is just as a +ve sign as lots of cramps etc. Everyone is different, and we have had +ves from girls who experience no symptoms at all....... pls just keep up the PMA, and you will be our 1st :D of the month.

Oh Paige, I wish I could have been as strong as you! I did buy some HPTs, four in fact, and I have already taken three of them! All negatives. I am not even due for my Beta until Monday August 9th, so rationally I know that testing now makes absolutely no sense.
I am so nutty right now on this 2ww! I can not work or do anything to keep my mind off things.
I do "feel" pregnant. I have been pregnant twice before and for me it was always just something "I knew". Of course my last pregnancy was 13 years ago, so I am second guessing myself about my "feelings".

I have no real symptoms. I feel good! The best I have since this IVF cycle started. I do have some soreness in my breast which makes me think Pregnant, but my very cautious DH likes to remind me that I have sore breast before AF. DH does not want me to get "my hopes up". He feels that pregnacy on first IVF is just not typical of our luck.
For myself and especially reading on this board I feel like there are those that have paid their dues a lot longer and they deserve a positive more than me. If does not, however, stop me from wanting this so bad. Please let me be pregnant!
I expect I will obsessively keep doing the HPT and if I don't see something soon my positive mood will begin to disipate.
Good luck to all August testers! Paige promise you will stay strong, the HPT only make you crazy.

Mia:

I was laughing out loud at your post. I also have a 4 yr old so I do feel like other people deserve a +tive a lot more than myself, and I wish them all kinds of luck. I don't feel a darn thing, bbs are little bit sore, but not even close to being as sore as they were when I was on the stim drugs. I also think that Progesterone, which makes you feel like you are pg might make them a little sore. I also feel the best I have throughout this whole cycle. I am starting to feel normal again, although am emotional (you know, crying during a Disney film).
So your PG test is Monday? Fingers and toes are crossed for you. Mine is Friday, we have a party Friday night...so if I get a negative I see a lot of alcohol in my future for Fri night.

Paige, I will definately be looking towards a little alcohol to soothe my pains if Monday is a negative. Unfortunely no parties scheduled for Monday. My DH and I will just have to make our own!
Good luck on Friday....you should get a BFP and set a precedent for all of use girls testing after you. Do not buy any HPT. I repeat NO HPT! They are the devil, but who am I to talk already taking three and still having 6 days to go. Good luck!
