I'm still waiting...... had another pineapple last night, but feel no twinges whatsoever.
I am going in tomorow (tues) at 7.30AM!!

If anyone has any tips about how to cope with induction that would be great. Feeling a bit scared now, but somehow it just doesn't seem real either.

Just found this article about starting labour naturally, so am off to try and book some reflexology:

A brief summary of traditional DIY methods:

Exercise lots! Bouncing up and down...

Sex, but especially oral sex - the 'natural' (and gentle) prostaglandins in semen are absorbed more effectively through the gut than through the cervix... if you can face it!

Hot curry

Reflexology often very effective, if you can get organised and find someone to do it quickly.

Failsafe method of inducing baby: arrange lots of things to do in the next week that you would really enjoy - massage, facial, hairdresser, etc..!! Even if it doesn't work, you'll have a nice time...

Nipple stimulation - apparently you really need to keep at it for at least an hour, and that one way is to get going with a breast pump while you're watching telly!

HEre I am.........

Had a bad night as so flaming hot and have a urine infection which makes me get up a zillion times and then it hurts as one is lying on my bladder - moan...........

Helen where are you - which did you try and if you are around quick need to know what works. The tin pineapple did no good suprising hey? Can't face oral sex quite honestly so that's off the menu - tried the baltis and gave me wind and indigestion  Hot bath was so hot but they seemed to like that! Have not got the inclinationt to drive into the nearest town, park and try and find raspberry leaf tea - oh my goodness it's going to be the flaming induction for hours on end. Just tried walkign the dog for an hour and picking more blackberries and they seem to be just lolling around in here

Good luck for tomorrow - I am 7.30 leaving on WEd morning for 8.30 start or there abouts - you should have had yours by then - OMG
That's if you are not already in!
Love

You are funny - all happening at yours then. Little one will be fine and used to noise when he/she pops out!

Take care

I'm still here.
Reflexology booked for 1.30pm, so fingers crossed, otherwise a sleepless night waiting for the induction.

Tracey,

You poor thing. Sounds like a rather miserable state you are in. Only 2 more days now. I don't think I'd be able to sleep for the next 2 nights! Amazing that the main thing I always read about being pregnant with twins is having to stay on bedrest early on so they don't come out too early. Obviously does not seem to be an issue in your case!

Wishing you the best of luck and looking forward to hearing the news when you return.

Love,
Staci

I know I read that too - all LIES LIES LIES

I am grateful they have got the best start - not sure if I will ever recover - actually it's just so flaming uncomfortable and wearing and draining and need I go on............

Just been in the garden trying to roast them out but obviously like me they like the sun! Too hot so off for some grub and a dose of Neighbours

Hi Tracey,
Just wanted to wish you good luck for tomorrow, you must be really looking forward to it now which hopefully takes the edge off of any nervousness...
By the way did you bladder infection clear up? what did they give you for it? - I also got one which is drving me nuts - will pick up sometyhing for it from the hospital today.
How exiting, Helen must be in there right now having her babies! I cannot wait to hear how it all went!

Hi Tracey
I am sure u will not remember me but i used this site so much last year i joined around jan 03, it was my lifeline as it is for many others.
Anyway i wanted to say i wish u all the luck in the world for tomorrow u both deserve this so very much.
I know Aileen wishes u so much luck too we have had many chats about your pregnancy and the arrival date of your little ones.
so all the best for a relatively pain free labour
