Ok Mia.....let's make a deal, I won't buy any if you don't test anymore? How do you do a cyber handshake?

Come on Paige, you can do it, girl! Well, it's easy to say, I know, I'm sure I'll be the same when it's my turn. Only a few more days till my ett, although all the blood tests and scans make it feel like a million light years away. I suppose it all seems so real by that stage? I still feel like I am bobbing along just doing what they tell me! The best of luck to you and all ohers in our thread group, well all ttc women everywhere..
lots of love, Jeanie
(ps - I realise AF means a period, but can anyone tell me what it stands for, please? Thanks)

Jeanie,

AF is Aunt Flo. Quaint, isn't it?

Best of luck for ET!

OK....found HPT in the master bath closet. Couldn't stand it, had to do it. I promised I woulnd't buy any...didn't realize they were already there. Got a -tive. It would be day 10 after the transfer. Was really hoping to see a +tive. Still have blood test tomorrow am. Not entirely hopeful. But honestly wouldn't mind an evening with no shots and alcohol. What a pathetic thing to say.

Paige,
I am sorry that you broke down and took a HPT, but do not give up hope until you get the results of your bloodwork. I never responded to the "cyber handshake" because I knew I could not keep that kind of deal. I have done SEVEN HPT...very obssessive-compulsive I know. They have all been negative.
Yesterday morning I thought I saw a very faint pink line, but when I went back to show my husband it was GONE! This morning test was negative so now I just think I have gone so mad that I am seeing things.
After this mornings test I to had a diet pepsi. I was so hopeful, now I think maybe I had been over optimistic.
I am still having some mild OHSS symptoms which I view as a good sign, but I am preparing myself for the worst.
Good luck tomorrow!!! I hope the results are positive!

Mia:

Nice to know I'm not alone...I couldn't believe the tests were in the closet!
I was wondering where you went when I offered the cyber handshake...now I'm laughing.
Best of luck to you tomorrow am. My clinic does the blood work at 8:30am and then calls later with the results.

I went shopping today and DID NOT buy any more HPTs. The darn things were just making me too crazy. There are no more tests in the house, so unless DH wants to go buy more tests I will not be testing tomorrow morning. The funny thing is that tomorrow is the earliest First Response says I should be testing. I could not bare if I get another negative, and the insert with the test says it was only accurate in 68% of the women in their clincal study 4 days before AF.
Paige, I hope things go well tomorrow and I will be waiting anxiously to see the news.
Good luck to every one testing soon and try to stay a bit more sane than I have managed to.
