Hi all.. I'm new here and wish I would have found this site sooner!! I have been going through an IVF cycle and am in the 2ww period ( I am due to take my blood test next Tuesday).
I have been experiencing cramps- almost like premenstrual cramps- and am hoping this isn't a sign of bad news. I know that many woman who get prego naturally get cramps but I was wondering if anyone here had experienced them?

I was pregnant 15 years ago with my son -- and I had premenstrual cramps so much that I would run to the restroom several times a day tampax in hand certain that I had started -- only to find out that I was definitely pregnant!
Think positive thoughts! You are sooooooooo lucky to test Tuesday, I have to wait until Thursday for mine!

I had terrible cramps (sometimes called AF pains on the board) a week after my IVF. They were so bad they woke me up at night and really scared me. I think it is a good sign, since I was technically pregnant. In my case it didn't last, but I still consider cramps a normal thing - maybe even a good sign as long as AF does not come. But sometimes you can still get a BFP even after AF - go figure!
Good luck - hope you have some good things planned to take your mind off the 2ww.

I've had AF pains now for a few days (I'm on day 7 of 2ww). I'm not reading too much into it. Basically, some girls have symptoms and are pg, some have NO symptoms and are pg. So, unfortunately there's no knowing. It's all so evil this waiting ....

Welcome to the board. I test on Tuesday as well. I've had a few cramps, I think its the progesterone pessaries that cause it, but if you had an egg retrival I think its only natural.
I think as well we are all looking for anything that might help us figure out how the tests will go.
