Hello & Update

How the devil is everyone - apologies that its been ages since I last posted - a slight technical problem (which I don't understand) with my pc at work which means I have had to wait to log on from home, but as I've been quite busy at the moment, and have been trying to take a break since tmt failed in mid July, this is my first time for ages.

Have had a good read to see what you have all been upto - well done you +ive's and my thoughts are with all those -ive's - its tough I know.

For those on the 2ww - try not to stress too much - the time will pass, honestly it will. - Good Luck to all of you

Me - well after my brief +ive and then -ive in July my clinic said I could go again after 2 AF's, the second one arrived almost a week early and was really heavy (sorry if tmi) so DH have discussed and decided to wait and see what the next one does, based on the reasoning that a more regular cycle is probably a better starting point - anyone had any similar experiences?

So probably now looking at a cycle starting in Sept, but both DH and I have agreed that in the grand scheme of things a couple of months won't do too much damage if it means that everything has settled down again.

Will keep popping in to see how everyone is doing

Hi DeeDee, lovely to hear from you again. You sound very calm and sorted - a great way to prepare, well done.

I had a similar but different (!) experience. Having also decided to try for August on the quiet, AF arrived earlier than expected and whilst I was still in the UK. I had DF race to the clinic for the drugs and look into DHLing them to me but then AF didn't really start, 4 days later it was still making up its mind. At the risk of tmi - there was a little old blood everyday but it didn't go on from there. Another few days on and it appeared as normal. This really worries me as if September's is the same, when do I start the drugs? What counts as Day 1?

Glad we'll be buddies again.

Just to say Hi, DeeDee ... you sound really strong, and ready to get cracking again .... I know it's tough not acting on an AF, but I think you've made a wise choice. I'm sure that the more "normal" your body is behaving, the better. I hope it sorts itself out for next time.

Well just wanted to pop back on to catch up with you and say hello to Debra too - my June buddies! Well I'm really glad for you both that you'll be cycling again very soon, I'll be keeping my fingers tighly crossed for you both! Debra - I had the same worry about which day is really day one as it's never that simple is it! I remember my nurse said to me day 1 is first day of new AF and not spotting. Not sure if that helps though! Do either of you have rough dates yet? How exciting!! I will get my cycle dates for my NHS ICSI go in a couple of weeks!! Even though I am enjoying myself being back into the swing of things, I can't wait to start stabbing and jabbing really asap!!
Well I've just got back from my Brasil trip! Was ammmazing! Just riding out the jetlag right now, but well worth it!!
Anyway good luck girls! I'll be keeping an eye on you!
