Oh gosh girls, thank you so much for all your kind words. They really do help. I know many of you have been in the same position, so know exactly how I feel. I take on board what you've said about AFs and bleeding, but I just know that this isn't the case.... I've had terrible AF pains from Sat night 'till last night, so it's the real thing. I didn't go for the blood test.
I went back to work today (been off since EC), and it was so horrible. Just having to talk to people ... I feel so angry / upset / tired / narky .... not a nice person at all... then when I got home, DP was v. upset ... I think he's feeling more than me. It just seems that so much time and effort is invested in a cycle, that it totally robs us of all energy.
Anyway ... I know things will seem better soon - just need to give it time

Poor you I am so sorry blasted candel I am chucking it away I dont think we have had a good positive year this year for most of us . Try and spend quality time with DP as they do feel it and we just cope with it cause we are in controll so to speak and they arent at all , bless him you should go out for a nice meal and talk about it and also a massive shopping spree or have a holiday , then as soon as you can book your next treatment as this will give you something to focus on .

quality time is needed for both of you ... do something naughty ... my DH and I got p**sed ... well we had 2 glasses of wine each and given that we hadn't drunk for 3 mths, that's all we needed!!!
Be strong and we are thinking about you and your DP ... my DH now reads the boards with me, so he gets disappointed when someone does get the right result too ... sweet
I know this is very soon, but do you have a follow-up consultation sorted? Weird as it probably sounds at the moment (I apologise if it is still to raw for you), it really helped me put the -ve in prospective and helped me go a little forward. It certainly did the trick for my DH.

I'm so sorry this has happened. And to go to work directly following - you are very brave, and it must have been horrible. I'm glad you posted about DP, too. I always forget how hard this is on them, also. You both need a break. I hope you have something nice planned.
