Oh Jen - i bet you are really seriously fed up with the whole thing - I did 2 treatments and felt like I was the world biggest martyr - you must be going up the world , to put it mildly. I totally know that what I've been through isnt nearly as mucha s what you have been through - but I really really do sympathise- its a tough tough business. Youa re so awesome just to keep going - which is of course EXACTLY what I think you have to do.....just stay in the race....and you WILL get there, have NO doubt.
I just know it will happen for you - I have 100% confidence - just a question of time
I will be keeping a close track on your current treatment and expect to see you on this side asking all the daft questions I asked, in a few weeks!
WOW - cant believe how quickly you ran you marathon - thats AWESOME - you must be SUPER fit. Good for you - I reckon exercise really helps mentally if nothing else. Listen though....sorry to sound bossy....but do try and take it easy generally - and especially in the 2WW - I have a feeling that might be one of the things that helped us a bit this time. I basically laid off for 2 weeks after ET to let things settle in. Maybe it helped?? Interestingly I also didnt find that it adversely affected my fitness or weight or anything - maybe a breaks a good things anyway? Anyway -probably a load of rubbish - but just a thought!
Re me and exercise - yeah am still excercing, about 4 times a week. Was swimming to start with but got really bored of it, so am now back to cross trainer, few wieghts and the odd spin class. It all seems ok at the moment - I just have to keep my heart rate below 140bpm - which makes it all alot easier!! Hasn't stopping me piling on the weight though! Am a stone heavier than pre pregnany and the books say you put on most of the weight AFTER 20 weeks....OOPS!!
Take care- PLEASE keep me in touch. I will be looking out for you!
