OH MY GOD!!!! I'm in shock! It's taking me ages to type this coz my hands are still shaking!

OK..... calm..... calm...... MARTINI BABES ARE SHAKING!!!!!

Can't think..... gotta go to work...... how on earth am I going to keep this to myself!

omg!! i was about to turn this off and then your post came up!! im still kinda new at this and havent figured out all the abbreviations yet (bfp) but by your reaction its gotta be good so...... yay!! u go girl! thats fantastic wahooooo

Hi Jools - Firstly many congratulations on your positive result, you must be over the moon. Can I please ask you a question? where did you have your treatment. I live in Ashford, Middlesex and I intend to start treatment for ICSI in January but I am finding hard to choose a clinic!.

Hi Kyla

I didn't have treatment over here as it was too expensive (local Northampton clinic would have cost £4 - 4.5K). As my husband is Italian and has family out there, we looked into it when we went over in May, and it only cost £1600 so we decided to have it done over there. Although it has been really traumatic, as I only speak basic Italian, I'm now glad I did it!

I'm sure there's loads of other girls who can advise you of local clinics. Best of luck with it all.

you must be so happy!!! (stupid thing to say really, but hey!)

keep us all up to date over the next few days...................I was going to reply when I read about Italy, but I thought I'd wait and see what the result was this week first. You shouldnt have had to go through all that hell, but it seems they must have done something right cos here you are with a +ve result!!! Yay for you and your DH!!!

Its fantastic news and I am so pleased for you.

(also v new to this and still learning the lingo!)

Congratulations!!!!

SO thrilled for you and DH!! Do you have a doctor who can do followup in the UK? You must not miss the opportunity to watch your HCG levels rising with blood tests and have your first scan at 6 weeks or so.

You took a chance and it worked - so proud for you!!
